Palace Hotel The Hotel Collection is locate din Buxton, which just so happens to also be the highest market in England at 1,000 feet over sea level. The palace itself dates all the way back to the 19th century, which means guests get to experience a piece of English history every night they stay. The Palace Hotel & Spa was originally constructed in 1863 with 122 rooms and stretching more than 5 acres.

Today, the rooms have been outfitted with all of the modern conveniences that travelers want while still retaining the Old World charm of its original construction. The Palace Hotel has two on-site bars and a restaurant that is available to both hotel patrons and the general public - The Dovedale. The Dovedale’s menu features both iconic British cuisine and international fare. Perhaps the best thing about the restaurant is the view the diners get. The Dovedale’s dining room overlooks The Hotel Palace’s lush garden courtyard for a sweeping panoramic view that is the perfect complement to a hearty meal of fish and chips or ribeye steak.
