That it was inexpensive and close to our destinations. The door to the bathroom had to be forced past the toilet. The room was damp and the blankets didn't keep you warm. The staff was inpleasant and the breakfast was mediocre at best.
The room was quaint and cozy. The ac worked perfectly. The room was pretty clean and completely odor free considering that we had a smoking room. The refrigerator and microwave worked nicely. The staff at the front was very pleasant. Very quiet and right next to some good chain restaurants. They posted that they have complementary breakfast, but when I went down during the posted breakfast time, nothing was placed out.
Location was great Property was gross, big trash can took up the good parking spots, linens were old and had holes in them, phone didn't work, newly done shower had gaps in the tile, towel shelf by sink had wires hanging out of it. Worst of all, the iron was so grimy and dirty that it ruined one of my best shirts.
I was not satisfied with the servicealso the clerk charge me extra when I pay for a doubleand I will tell friends and family not to stay there anymore
location liked walking to the wonderful Mexican restaurant next door
Day staff rented rooms the night staff did not know about, so ran into people in my room. Ran my credit card with lower price quoted by some strange mistake, that was unpleasant to fix, and the smoke alarm was torn out of the ceiling. On the positive side the little guy cleaning the rooms was pleasant and OK. This hotel seemed somewhat safer than the ones in midtown jackson because it shares a parking lot with a trucking school of polite truckers. Nice folks. very handy next to several eateries, Wal-mart and Kroger, and Walgreens. No need to hunt for anything right there. Gas prices great in Richland also.
Asked for a towel and an extra blanket for comfort and was accused of having "two girls in your room" which implied prostitutes. Pretty rude from the staff especially how they started to threaten to barge into the room at any second.
When I travel or staying at a hotel, all I'm mainly interested in is if the room is clean, the staff is friendly, it's location compared to commercial business (restaurants), and the hotel's safeness. This Motel 6 was just that. Very clean and cozy. The ladies at the desk where very friendly. My room phone was broken. I couldn't hear the lady at the front desk. But I did notify her before check out and she assured me that she would inform the manager. Also they do their cleaning a little too early in the morning. Most hotels/motels I've been to start cleaning at 10-11 am, but at 8:30, I heard vacums whirling. Not ideal if you want to sleep in.
Close to the interstate. Everything except being close to interstate. Room was dirty, area was not safe, staff was rude, if it was not late and I was on the road 12 hours I would not have stayed here! Also cockroaches in rooms.
It was clean and people were friendly. No complaints
ABSOLUTELY nothing! The lobby smelled, the individual at the front desk didn't speak English well, she barely understood what I was saying, it was cold and the heat didn't work past 3 on the dial, the door looks as if it had been kicked in, there was no iron in the room!
It was a very big room. My wife suggested we invite guests. ha. King size bed. The sink was very slow to drain. I let the attendant know at the desk when we left and she said, 'I'll get right on that.'
The rooms were clean. The beds were hard as the floor and the shower did not work in the bathroom.
