Pros: Everything
Cons: Morning
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful romantic guesthouse, with nicely decorated common areas and rooms. Breakfast excellent for our liking (high quality yoghurt, fresh berries, nuts and cereals) and bread/cheeses, as well as the cooked breakfast, and as bonus: coffee to my liking, which Francesca remembered and offered every consecutive day of our stay. Francesca and Roberto are very friendly, with also very helpful suggestions for dinner in the village.
Cons: We had partially booked this guesthouse for the possibility to have dinner. We asked for the first night but that was not possible, then there was a suggestion that it would be possible later during our stay, but that was not offered anymore and we did not feel like asking again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I never rate or review a hotel I stayed in because I hate this “rate culture” that allows anybody to destroy a business just because they didn’t have an extra towel or because the wifi was slow or any other stupid reason. The only time I rated a guest house was because the owner asked me to give him 5 stars. Considering that, I was so enchanted by my stay at Lubnaig that I can’t help it but let everybody know that this is truly a gem in the hospitality industry. I have no words to describe how, Francesca and Stefano, the hosts, made me feel like I was home. They’re easy going, always keen on having a chat, helping and giving tips on what to do and where to go. As a solo traveller, you mostly rely on yourself to discover the surroundings and Francesca made sure that I could make the most of my stay there. The place looks amazing from outside, is cozy and warm inside. The rooms are super clean and comfy. The location is ideal if you want to wander around and discover lots of beautiful places. If you’re not sure if you want to stay here or go somewhere else, don’t hesitate one more second, you won’t regret it. Thank you, guys, for making my stay so perfect, loved my holidays with you! I’ll drop by one more time for sure. Take care.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was lovely, room, cleanliness etc as stipulated in section 2. As we were only there over night it is difficult to assess any further.
Cons: The uncertainty around the visit which was beyond everyone's control but spoilt the whole atmosphere. The town was on shut down.
