Pros: Tom and Brenda were exceptional hosts and went out of their way to accommodate our needs and make us welcome. The breakfasts Brenda prepared were wonderful and filling. If we're back on Camano Island this would be our first choice of where to stay.
Pros: Very nice place and wonderful host and hostess.
Pros: Gorgeous home located on a stunning beach with views all around. Quiet and peaceful retreat, met wonderful guests, and the hosts are superb. We would stay here again.
Pros: Brenda and Tom are top notch hosts. Everything was so lovely. The house is beautiful and it's located right on the water so the views are just spectacular. I highly recommend booking the Bach Suite with balcony. It's the best room in the house. We also enjoyed the breakfast. OMG... beyond delicious. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!
Pros: Breathtaking water front views . Quiet and relaxing.
Pros: Beautiful Home. I was very welcomed upon arrival. Beautiful view and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Ramona Argenal
Cons: We loved everything
Pros: Elegant, very clean and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Gracious hosts. Glorious views of the water from the upstairs bedroom.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Located in Camano Island, Camano Island Inn is on the waterfront, a 2-minute drive from Cama Beach State Park and 6 minutes from Camano Island State Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location and access to various seating areas.
Cons: Continental breakfast - food bars, pkg. yogurt ( despite exp. date for late in the month - did not congeal and tasted funny), coffee in warmer containers, dry cereal, oranges and bananas, one English muffin, wheat and other breads to be toasted...pastry with icing, orange juice. Reviews raved about breakfasts made this selection disappointing. We were told upon check in it would be continental breakfast, however have had that to mean homemade pastries, breads, muffins, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, etc. Locals had recommended this property - maybe October is off season???? Access to beach limited.....path led to fire pit area....to access rocky beach would have required jumping down a 3 foot height or going to road....not easy to do without trespassing on private property .
Pros: The staff was amazing.
Cons: Rooms very outdated, carpets very old, paint chipping on building. No closets. Our room opened up to a deck right above the fire pit and so our room smelled like smoke and we could not open door to the deck first night there because the smoke came directly into our room.
Pros: The views were unparallelled, 180 degrees of the Salish Sea. Our deck had a hot tub and a little bistro set, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The upper deck was expansive and also had tremendous views. We stayed in room 3, not the biggest room but perfectly cozy and comfortable. We had a queen bed which was surprisingly comfortable, given my husband is 6'5". We loved the fact that the Inn provided robes. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional.
Cons: Be aware that the beach (totally accessible from the property!) is very rocky and has a vast amount of broken seashells -- this is not a barefoot beach. Not really a a negative, but I wanted people to know.
Pros: We had the king bed with in room jacuzzi. Romantic, great view includes protected waters of Puget Sound & Whidbey Island. Wonderful (view of Sound) hikes nearby in two state parks ($30 annual Discover Pass at Camo Beach entrance, or $10 day pass at many unattended drop boxes).
Cons: 'Full breakfast' was limited but wonderful for what it was; Fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee. Oatmeal was available 1 of our 2 days. Dinner on site was limited choices - but big plus was that the menu was available so this wasn't truly a negative.
Pros: Linda was very friendly and provided area maps and local sight-seeing suggestions. Gorgeous view.
Pros: The camino inn was a very delightful. Clean and overall relaxing place to stay. The whole experince was serine.
Pros: So relaxing, lovely staff.
Cons: Lots of smoke and haze due to the forrest fires in Washington and BC, obviously not the resort’s fault, just wanted to mention that because of how our photos look.
Pros: Loved the water front location. Small little inn with a homey feel to it. It was cold and snowy out but the fireplace was running when we got there and it was so cozy. Staff was very sweet and had everything all set up for us. Weather kept them from being available but they thought of everything in advance and we were well taken care of.
