Overview Reviews
A palette of richly chosen colors and an assortment of textures characterize the Hacienda Puerta Campeche. This luxurious hotel is a gem flawlessly displaying a collection of restored 17th century historical houses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely atentavie providing highly personalized service. Inner courtyard and unique pool provide respite and privacy. With only eighteen guest rooms it’s very exclusive. Location convienient for discovering the Campeche UNESCO World Heritage site. Walking across to many restaurants, bars, shops and sites.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. It’s a small hotel, make sure they have the services and amenities you want. It will also give them the opportunity to plan for your needs. I found they will go to extraordinary lengths to satisfy you.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: It was a bit quiet in the restaurant, not much going on for dinner, but food great excellent. The connected swimmimg Pools are too small to really swim but very nice design.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location, Colors and the original swimming pool
Cons: Dark, really old fashioned , rooms , loosy still friendly service. Main issue is the town itself, you can visit it in 3 hours max. Not much ( if not nothing) to see or experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the architecture, the pools, and the staff.
Cons: Not the lighting I would expect in the bathroom. Would have enjoyed two chairs to relax in in the room.

Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. 8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ambience,service , situation
Cons: No fridge in bedroom , Very poor lighting in bedroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful setting beautiful rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is unbeatable, in the walled city, on a pedestrian street full of restaurants. Although the street is for pedestrians only, you can come close with the car; the staff will park it for you. All the staff we dealt with were kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and well decorated, in a late XIX/early XX century style. Located at the back of the hotel, it was very quiet (the street can be very noisy at night). The bathroom was well-equipped but very hot when we arrived. Even with the AC of the room, the bathroom stayed rather warm until we left. Excellent bed.
Cons: We found the hotel overpriced. We were in another hotel in the walled city a few days before. Casa Don Gustavo was more than 3 times the price of that hotel, and to say the truth was not so extraordinary as to justify the difference. The restaurant was average, either for dinner or breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive Staff, location, very comfortable and spacious. Very well maintained. Comfy rooms. Nice outdoor space and planting.
Cons: The junior suites bed was too small - check the size when booking - some are kings and some are queens. The sitting room of the J suite had uncomfortable furniture. Coffee not good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly beautiful hotel colonial style in the middle of town, pedestrian area. Reachable by car, they will park your car for you. Beautifully decorated, very friendly staff, spacious room (we had a master suite). Very nice bathroom with l'Occitane amenities.
Cons: Room is a little damp. When you look at the ceiling you can see why...
4.3 Okay
Pros: The dtaff and food presentation
Cons: A lot of tourists came into the small hotel to look around which was quite intrusive to us sitting at the pool or quietly reading in the lounge chairs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is beautiful and location is unbeatable. My room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff was very attentive and even prepared a breakfast to go for me, since I had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 4am.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and design charming. The staff very helpful and friendly. We were upgraded on our second stay later in the week - Wonderful. Charming and second floor with more room and light. Loved it.
Cons: Our downstair rooms are very dark ( #9), and better lighting at bed is needed for reading.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Seriously, the bed is exceptionally comfortable. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Great breakfast plan. The staff was most attentive. Always ready to assist in whatever way neccesary.
Cons: Lots of staff, very kind and caring, but meals were a bit of a slow process. If you are heading out on a timed tour, expect it to take an hour and half to eat breakfast. If not, sit back, relax and enjoy the courtyard or dining room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only wished we could of stayed longer than 1 night. This hotel is beautiful and located on the best street for restaurants. Close to the main church and square.

Friendly staff. Great beds. Breakfast was super with lots of choices incl Mexican and international dishes (pancakes). Campeche is a hidden gem and worthwile to visit for a day or 2.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Casa di Zari is an utterly charming BnB, with the finest host you could imagine. María de la Luz is attentive and warm yet completely non intrusive . Our room with private bath was decorated in classic Spanish colonial style and looked out on a small garden and patio. Breakfast is delicious homemade regional specialities ... or whatever you want. Loads of interesting books on the Campeche state in the lounge area.
Cons: Very little to feedback on except bed a little too hard and no WiFi in bedroom.

Pros: I loved the view of the ocean and the pool was amazing people are really nice
Cons: The beds are not so comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Great location, seafront. I enjoyed very much running along the promenade at the sunset, which is very safe and quiet. Supermarket and restaurants are very close and also the city center. The structure is very modern and comfortable, there is also a terrace for each room. I would certainly return there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are good, bed are great, location is brilliant. The town center is a short walk away and the coast and beautiful sunset around the corner.
Cons: The swimming pool surroundings were not like the photo, perhaps due to the low season. The aircon in our room was very noisy when activated for cooling
6.8 Good
Pros: If you manage to get an Ocean view, it is great! Location is good, next to the city center and the sea
Cons: We booked and paid for the Premium Ocean view, however we had to ask for it twice. Initially we were given a room on the first floor, then with a garden view, and only after the second request we were moved to what we paid for. I don't understand what was the problem to provide us with a proper room from the very beginning! The facilities are a bit outdated, old grey towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was near from the beach and town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect between sea and old town. The room was very comfortable and calm and the staff in reception were always helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit expensive, however it was a very good buffet, including waffles.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff that had setup Soccer goals.
Cons: Rate was provided in American dollars but payment was refused in American dollar, this not honest and not correct !
5.8 Okay
Pros: Huge bed, nice reception area and parking available. Close to walled city
Cons: Shower leaked everywhere, coffee in room you have to pay for, leaks in various part of the hotel, so buckets all over the place catching the drips, ugly view if not facing the beach, and very noisy in the early hours of the morning , breakfast very expensive
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast is kind of expensive. The bar and the restaurant are TOO cold. Couldn't enjoy it There's no access to the pool from the restaurant. N
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Helpful front desk booking taxis. Only short walk to centre of town.
Cons: Front desk staff don’t speak much English. The common areas of the hotel are very modern but the rooms haven’t had the same update so are quite dated. The pool was very busy with loud music but it was Easter. They advertise sea view but you can’t see it when in the room and there are no chairs or furniture on the balcony.

Cons: Lacking a little in character. Not as friendly as some other hotels
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good. Rooms were big and spacious. A middleclass hotel. Nothing special.
Cons: Poolsize. Very small. The decor in the hotel is a bit outdated. The colours of the walls are to bright and the interior can do with some modernisation. It is more a 3 star then a 4 star hotel.
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location.
Cons: Hard beds for us. Had to fold over blankets to sleep on. Ocean view was main floor looking at parked cars.
7.0 Good
Cons: Accommodation was over priced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 2nd visit and perfect location to beach and Malecón, mall, restaurants.
Cons: This time our room was across from a staff supply room and more noise and traffic. Also, though not a property issue, the last night was coronation of child Carnival Queen and the room next to us after the program was full of noisy moms and girls. They were not considerate and staff had to intervene. I understand their excitement and we tried twice ourselves to quiet them.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, cleanliness, very friendly, helpful and professional English speaking staff, very good breakfast included, amazing full body massage in spa - must do!! Thank you for everything! You are doing a great job!!
Cons: Ocean view isn't really ocean view, other than that we had an excellent stay and would definitely come back!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The hotel was a bit rundown. Rust etc.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lots of choice for breakfast. Different types of pillows, soft, medium and hard, perfect! Close to the boulevard.
Cons: Living truely up to it's name. There's only an Ocean View from the parkinglot.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of different hot/cold foods and nice presentation. It's open until 11:30 too. The hotel is fairly modern, and right across the road from the Malecon, which is a great place for long walks, easily accessible. Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially when trying to change a Booking.com reservation. Rooms either face the road/Malecon, or the pool area, which is nicer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of fruit, drinks including fresh juices, and egg dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Please leave a small tip!

Pros: Amazing hotel. Kitchen full of breakfast goodies a great bonus. Staff speak English !!!! Towels and bed linens bright white. Doesn’t happen in any hotels I previously stayed.
Cons: Amazing dogs but they barked early on the morning . But I forgave them They were cute and friendly .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very comfortable hotel in an older style building. The rooms are pleasant and the staff are very helpful. There's a kitchen, and it's stocked with coffee, cereals, bread, jams, bananas - all the things for a basic breakfast. You can make coffee or tea whenever you like. The hotel is opposite the square in the centre of Barrio San Roman. There's a nice coffee shop opposite. The hotel is a 10-15 minute easy walk from Centro.

My sister and I are really looking forward to a return stay. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Cons: A water filter to refill our water bottles would have been useful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and with a free carpark! Super clean and very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice too
Cons: Breakfast was a bit limited but only because it was included in the price. WiFi was very poor everywhere in the hotel. AC was too strong, we couldn’t bring it down and it was stopping in the middle of the night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and front desk staff
Cons: Limited hot water and no control on aircon
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, just few minutes walk from cathedral and promenades. Big and comfortable room. Private parking is handy.
Cons: Airco was noisy and difficult to set to our needs - you can control only temperature. Wifi connection was very poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Francis Drake was perfect. Right in the best part of the historical district. Restaurants, shops, beautiful neighborhood, safe, clean. The Hotel room was huge and clean. Hot water and cold AC and fridge and microwave! Comfortable beds, maid service and the price is great value. Don't miss this one. Will highly recommend!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I was there the second time, this time the last time for sure. Besides everything else, there is always the same slow waiter that can¡t remember more than 3 things at once. He comes to the table and instead of good morning he says: But breakfast is not included!!!! Like he wanted to say: Go away!!
Cons: Last time I had a nice room with a french balcony, same my guests in the other rooms....this time we all got rooms with a wall view that was just 3 feet away from the window. Just like last time....all shower heads in the bathrooms were clogged up and only had a trickle of water coming out, I had to open the shower door with both hands and all my strength and in 2 from 3 rooms the toilet flush wasn't working. Turning on the A/C a family of cockroaches left their home in there and entered the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, good service..
Cons: The pillows could be better..they were not soft at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and price

Pros: Everything! Martha is THE BEST host you could find! She has a great personality and goes far and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. We went out together to a bunch of places (to see the sunset, to the center and even to see a beautiful river and lake) and we really enjoyed her company! The rooms are big, super clean, with modern & silent AC plus own bathroom and the beds are sooooo comfy! Gracias Martha por hacer Campeche taaaan bonito!!! Eres la mejor!
Cons: Depends on preferences: location is a bit far from the center but super close to the ADO station which is a plus!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pleasant staff Good breakfast (not included) Beds OK AC and fan
Cons: The shower drain was plugged and the bathroom and bedroom got flooded badly The ceiling above the toilet was very low - banged my head several times
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Nice room (upstairs) all the nice touches, and a wonderful host!
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is very friendly and accomodating, the breakfast was nice. There is a nice secure parking in front.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much. I wish I never stayed there.
Cons: Everything. It was NOT a hotel. It is a converted house. It is not near the city center and not in a business area. It was hard to locate. The rooms were below par. The sheets had stains. The mattress very uncomfortable. The wifi was spotty at best. It was a sham to advertise as a "hotel". The photos are deceiving. You have to go on Google maps and look at the terrain and neighboring area to know it's a house.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: We wanted to make breakfast but the kitchen was just too dirty!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Martha is such a great host ! What a fun and outgoing person who even showed us around in a nearby village :) the room was clean, comfy bed, ac and WiFi were working well. It’s a 30 min walk to the center so if you want to stay very central consider that. Otherwise the neighborhood felt really safe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and sweet host. Excellent food! Clean and great for value. Would definetely recommend this place. We stayed for 4 nights which was perfect.

Hotel CEO Group - Campeche - Building
11
8.6 Excellent (229 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Ceo Group Malecon in Campeche (Ah Kim Pech), you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Ex-Temple of San Jose and Galerías Campeche. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean comfortable rooms! Great choice of breakfast every day with very sweet and friendly staff! So quiet to sleep as well! Would definitely recommend this place!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: One block from the malecon that is then a pleasant 1/2 hour walk to old town UNESCO heritage site. Parking free and easy at hotel. Reception is friendly and breakfast staff very helpful providing several choices of hot breakfast included.
Cons: Staff needs to monitor the after hours use of the pool area better. One night of our three night stay people were drinking and talking right outside our room until after midnight when the regulations indicate quiet after 10pm and no consumption of alcohol.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location - close to malecon, city centre, a mall, out of town- once we found it. The staff - front staff were very helpful and friendly. They even took to correcting our Spanish. They managed our laundry, twice. They always said hello and good morning and answered our questions as best they could or sought out an English speaking staff member to help. The staff - breakfast staff was cheerful, friendly, funny. By the time we left she knew all our preferences, was able to advise us on menu choices, and teased us about our scanty clothing (they were freezing) Breakfast - fresh fruit, lovely coffee, nice selection of main dishes, tasty, available early. Cleanliness- this place was spotless, all of it was spotless. Very pleasant, well decorated, well cared for, well managed Architecturally complicated Once we had the right room we didn’t have a problem. We would stay again. You should stay here.
Cons: Like many others, we had a hard time finding the hotel. The access road is not marked, the GPS was useless. We were finally able to pull it up on google maps and even then it wasn’t simple. Doesn’t help there is a giant mall close by blocking the road. We found the hotel to be quite noisy because of all the hard surfaces. In fact we asked for a room change after the first night because of the noise from other patrons checking in and the cleaning staff at 6 am the next morning, and the bright lights outside one of 3 doors, the a/c blowing on the bed, and the hot temperature from the sun blazing into the room. The room was quite lovely otherwise and we suspect it’s considered prime for leisure guests because of its location close to the pool, a private sitting area (like a concrete well with a table at the bottom), and a common sitting area.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place but a little out of the way. Great staff.
Cons: The location was a little out of the way and it's an island in a sea of empty space and residences. But it is a very nice little hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Small, cosy, good attention
Cons: Breakfast could be better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. I read another review which said there was no breakfast.....well there is now!
Cons: Location is a bit out of the way.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spotless fantastic staff good coffee
Cons: On edge of malecon a few km from Historical buildings
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms and the pool was close to every room, staff was very friendly and helpful
8.5 Excellent
Cons: Must search for CEO Group Malecon Hotel! "Malecon Hotel" alone is unknown there. Also, location is easyto find onceyou have been there - but the dirt road is difficult to find coming off the malecon. Distance to Entro is about 10 to 15 minutes by car!
8.8 Excellent

4.3 Okay
Pros: The location was pretty wit was in downtown
Cons: When we checked in our room was incomplete on that we only had 1 towel. Then later on that evening as I was going to shower the cold water pressure was not working and earlier they had plumbing issues. The moved us to a small room where the fixtures where the sink was incomplete and the room was small. So later they moved us to another room afterwards which was a little better. The breakfast was mostly a small fruit plate eggs with some meat and coffee. You can have juice but then you don’t get the fruit plate.

Pros: Character property in a great location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: location is excellent, the staff very friendly and overall nice hotel
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location! Close to downtown.
Cons: The bathroom is a little small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and the cleanliness, the staff was very friendly and easy to approach.
Cons: The room was next to the staff's inner yard, there was lots of noise during the day and very early in the morning. The windows should definitely be more noise isolated. The Wi-fi connection was also quite poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good services, valid parking, carrying your suit-cases up the stairs, very good beds, beautiful building, nice drink in the lobby, breakfast was nice, everything!
Cons: It was very noisy on the street. In our room there were only old (and beautiful) wooden doors to the balcony with some open spaces between them. So it was a bit noisy through those. But with earplugs I slept quite well through it on the wonderful bed! There could be an extra door with windows or something to keep the noise out. But probably that’s not allowed as it is a Unesco protected town.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location ist perfect to visit downtown Campeche
Cons: got a smaller room than booked but was fine at the end
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Cold swimming pool
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and staff were great!
Cons: The hotel is next to a noisy night life side street. We moved our room three times due to noise. The third room was quiet. The windows in the inner rooms do not open.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Place is beautiful, room was great, staff wonderful. Great location.
Cons: No elevator, no swimming pool, old keys system, can be very noisy if your room is on the street side. Also noisy aisles because of the old doors.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice colonial building! Really nice and comfortable bed! I really like how the hotel treat me, all the people working there were nice and available for everything.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Confortable beds in dorms Very Good situation and Nice view
Cons: Too hot in the dorms (no A.C) Only ONE toilet & shower (both in the same space) for ONE dorm of 6 beds !! You can’t go to toilets if someone is taking his shower ....! Kitchen poorly equiped and prohibiden to use it for preparing lunch the day of departure because  « we did our check out !! » There were nobody at the hostel and nobody cooking. We proposed to pay for using the kitchen but they categorically said NO. (It’s the first time we have this situation in 9 mounth travelling !!)
6.3 Good
Pros: Very central location.
Cons: No locked facilities. Door is wide open when hostal is in the main square, no locks on dormitories. No lockers for you to keep your valuables. I had an overnight bus in the evening and askes staff to keep my bags behind receptionas there was no where else to put them. Unfortunately my bag was stolen from behind the reception desk. When I noticed it was missing I was informed that they hostal does not take responsibility which I would understand if they had locked facilities for you to use instead. Fortunately most of my valuables were in the hostal safe. As it is off season you will often walk into the hostal and the receptionist will not be present as they will be the person cleaning the bedrooms which is when I suspect this was when my bag was stolen. They gave me a $20 refund on my stay but for this to happen is poor from a place that prides itself as a 'boutique hostel'.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is right in the centre. Great view of the park and church. Very clean
Cons: It doesn't have aircon, so at night it can be uncomfortable to sleep.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. Nice rooms and all clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing, view on the main square
Cons: Staff should speak a bit of English
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best location in town and very nice room with a good price. Also very clean and there's free drinking water
Cons: Staff was very uninformed about tourist attractions in town and didn't even know that the Fort was closed for a 6-month construction, so we went there for nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Beds were comfortabel. Location was excellent
Cons: Bathroom/shower was very small and damp. Soapdispensers were empty and there were no towels to clean your hands. Wi-Fi signal did not reach the dorms. Kitchen was big and had enough cups and plates and all, but very few pots and pans to actually cook. Not what you expect when paying above average
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, right on the main square (parque principal). Close to shops and restaurants for all budgets. Very modern boutique hostel with views of the cathedral. Reception area is nice for chilling. The bathrooms are clean and modern. Bedrooms are spacious. Not a busy hostel. There’s a basic kitchen for guests to use. Staff are helpful and polite.
Cons: The rooms are very hot, no AC which is surprising since they charge a bit more than other places. The WiFi doesn’t really extend to the bedrooms which wasn’t great. Not really a hostel vibe but nice to be chilled. Could have more hooks in the showers and places to set soap/shampoo etc.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Very central place
Cons: No breakfast. No AC and only one fan for a six bed dormitory. It was so hot, I had no sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice little hostel with very friendly staff. It’s located directly in front of the main square, with a fantastic view over the colonial town and the cathedral of Campeche.
Cons: The fact that they don’t offer breakfast (but coffee) is a little minus, the rooftop would be an amazing place to serve it and enjoy the town‘s view :)

Pros: We loved this beautiful hotel in the heart of Mérida! The hotel is very well decorated. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated the pool area. The little restaurant Sotovento was a real plus! Thank you for the little gifts at the check out! We will definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing : everything was perfect
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great find with lots of character for an old Campeche feel. Beautiful tiles, high ceilings and details. Rooms had lots of space, comfortable beds, great air conditioning and fans. Excellent value for a one-night stay. Delicious restaurant!
Cons: They were completely full for the weekend after we decided to stay longer! Parking wasn’t available and the info we were given was wrong, so out arrival was a bit frustrating. However, William at the front desk kindly helped us unload our bags and get us settled.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and nice eclectic pool area.
Cons: No desk in room, not enough tv channels, spotty internet
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good decoration.. Nice spacious Rooms. Swimmingpool very clean. Short walking distance to the main plaza.
Cons: The breakfast was not worth the Price in the adjoining Cafe. 110 Pesos for almost nothing. The staff knows it and doesn't change it. The Wifi doesn't work most of the Time.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The pillows
Cons: The tv was small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the cleanliness of the facilities, friendliness and helpfulness of staff members. Marián in front desk went far and beyond in her service with us. We are very thankful with all of you.
Cons: No water, ice, or coffee in the facilities. We had to dress up in the middle of the night to go to the nearest 24 hour open pharmacy to find water. For a place with a temperature of 100 degrees water and ice should be a MUST.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location near the main square, big room and private parking option available.
Cons: Our room was at the street side, therefore it was a bit noisy. No breakfast facility in the hotel, but across the street you have the option to visit a sister hotel for breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: The size of room The fact there was a bath tub The location Clean Wifi
Cons: The view (literally a brick wall) and this was not mentioned anywhere at the time of booking. Couldn’t provide room service one morning because it was raining!! Our reason for ordering was to avoid going out in the rain...
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, lobby and pool, staff friendliness
Cons: The room had no view. Just brick wall covering window. The fan was noisy, the AC was even noisier and had moldy smell. Ended sleeping without ac. Did not get good sleep
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was pleasant, spacious, and clean. The location was great. The dip pool - quite utilitarian - was welcome as weather hot and steamy.
Cons: Surprised there was no tea/coffee/soft drinks in the room as there was absolutely no food and drink available elsewhere in the hotel. A fuss was made when we ordered breakfast (the night before) to be brought in from cafe (as proposed by hotel literature) though it did arrive on time. Staff on the reception were aloof and, in one instance, downright unhelpful (surprising for Mexico, in our experience), though other staff friendly and normally helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff with clean comfortable rooms.
Cons: They were doing some kind of work in one of the rooms and the noise was a little annoying. It sounded like chipping of concrete and hammering.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable and location is great.
Cons: Our room was a bit small but that's OK for just resting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the cathedral. Very big room, comfortable, nice staff. The little swimming pool was a plus! The parking lot was very good too, calm and safe. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: We loved this hotel except for the fact that the room is not soundproof.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.

With a stay at H177 Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Campeche, within a 10-minute drive of Bonita Beach and General State Archive. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage.
6.3 Good
Cons: The room didn’t have a window and the AC was too smelly to have on.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super nice facilities just off the main square in Campeche. The rooms and modern and well maintained! The staff are also super friendly. The best part was that we arrived at 8am after an overnight bus and were allowed to check in straight away! We expecting to just drop our bus but this was a real bonus. Highly recommend!
Cons: We got our room for a 50% discount so we were happy with the price. However, at normal pricing it’s a bit out of our price range.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The small lobby was very nice, good seating. The overall design is refreshingly contemporary and very well done.
Cons: Unfortunately, noise from the hallways and the area around the pool was an issue.
6.8 Good
Pros: Dont have a restaurant The beds olds
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This modern Mexican style hotel in the heart of Old Town Campeche is immaculate! Walking distance from everything. Beautiful tiny plunge pool in the small but peaceful center courtyard.
Cons: The spaces are all quite small - we stayed in a Junior Suite, which had two very comfortable beds but was a bit small for three people.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed
Cons: The room is a little tired looking. A fresh coat of paint and a deep clean would improve it
9.5 Excellent
Pros: People were very good
Cons: Coffee ready earlier
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There was a of history in the area. The areas I stayed were somewhat difficult to navigate because of the GPS I had and the one way streets. improvement to access of information would have helped. The city police are to be commended for the action of giving me a police escort to the hotel! Lights, which brought out the hotel staff and many of the locals. Which may or may not have been a bonus . i would have love to give him a tip but that could have been an insult! I guess one thing I would like to see is a suggestion as to what is an expected tip.
Cons: nothing I was very happy. I would strongly suggest if you are visiting foreign country don't expect them to speak our langue. If you are in a resort yes, but if you are in their territory, don't expect them to speak their language
5.8 Okay
Pros: Excellent location, comfortable bed, nice roof terrace.
Cons: This was unfortunately one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in - the walls must be paper thin because you can hear absolutely everything that's going on in the building, like people in the corridors, slamming doors, even people using hairdryers in their rooms. There was also noise from some sort of loud machinery that started very early in the morning and went on for a couple of hours, so I didn't get much sleep. My room was very small and dark (no outside window). The swimming pool was tiny and looked dirty; I didn't use it. I was expecting better standards from a 4-star hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is magnificent, right at the heart of Campeche walled city. There are plenty of vibrant cafés and bars.
Cons: I was a bit disappointed: the terrace for breakfast overlooking the neighbourhood was not open.
