Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests mentioned the lovely view of the River Taff and the Principality Stadium, so consider requesting a room with this view for a more enjoyable stay.
Consider Bringing Earplugs
Some guests noted that the soundproofing in the rooms was not sufficient, and noise from other guests or the road could be disruptive, so packing earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers.
Check Room Configuration
Some guests were surprised by the layout of the rooms, particularly the bunk beds instead of a double and single bed as advertised, so it's advisable to confirm the room configuration before booking, especially for those with specific sleeping arrangements.
Take Advantage of Self-Service Breakfast
Guests appreciated the convenience of the self-service breakfast, but some suggested adding more variety in pastries for longer stays, so plan accordingly if staying for multiple nights.
Be Mindful of Shared Facilities
While many guests appreciated the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms and kitchen, some were not accustomed to this setup, so it's important to consider individual preferences regarding shared facilities.
Consider the Weather
A few guests mentioned that the rooms were a bit cold, especially during very cold weather, so it's advisable to check the weather forecast and pack accordingly for a comfortable stay.
Utilize the Nearby Attractions
The hotel's proximity to Cardiff Castle, St. David's, and the Principality Stadium makes it a convenient choice for exploring these attractions, so plan to take advantage of the nearby sights during the stay.
Communicate Room Preferences
Some guests were pleased with the triple room setup, which can be rare to find, so if traveling with a group, it's worth communicating specific room requirements to the hotel in advance.
Take Note of Check-in and Check-out Times
The hotel offers flexible check-in and check-out times, which can be convenient for travelers with varied schedules, so plan arrival and departure times accordingly.
Consider the Season
