A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this luxurious guest house offer up nice touches like premium bedding and bathrobes.
Cons: SPIDERS. Big spiders. And other insects. All over the ceiling. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. Also because there are bars right outside the back windows. Definitely not what is advertised. It's also "self-service" so there isn't staff there 24/7. The area also isn't as great as advertised.
Situated in Cardiff, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Mermaid Quay, Techniquest, and Wales Millennium Centre. Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: The night staff when we came back to check in after the earlier issues were very pleasant.
Cons: When we arrived at 2pm (check in time) there was a long queue of people trying to check in because the hotel was full that night and didn't have rooms ready. Because there was a big international sports match on that afternoon, we had to leave our bags and hope to check in later because we couldn't wait around for a room to become free. I think this is poor planning, and if the time between check out and check in is only two hours then the hotel has not left itself enough time to clean rooms.
Pros: Everybody friendly and helpful rooms were great would definitely use this hotel and recommend it
Pros: Being near city centre plus easy parking.
Cons: Parking should be free for customers. No toiletbrush in bathroom.
Pros: Clean, tidy and plenty of parking
Cons: Very expensive internet access and few tv channels..
Pros: The shower is brilliant
Cons: The beds are very hard!!
Pros: Smart, modern look, friendly and very helpful staff
Cons: Not the best location, being near a busy dual carriageway, but close to the City Centre and Cardiff Bay
Pros: Staff were more thna helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for sure!
Pros: Nice infrastructure, friendly staff
Cons: it is too noise. The location is not good
Pros: Family friendly hotel,Good location, very friendly & helpful staff and the hotel room was perfect for a family of 4 - very clean & plenty of space.

Pros: Awesome location. Great room, gym, pool great. No faults.
Cons: an extra elevator would be good!
Pros: Location good, staff were very engaging with guests in the breakfast restaurant. The vallet parking service was convenient, reception staff efficient.
Cons: Hotel lacked any personality and standard of finish for this rating of hotel poor, was more like a 3 star. The bar area opposite reception was of poor design and was devoid of any atmosphere or warmth.
Comfortable and clean accommodations. Very helpful staff - very quick to fulfill requests.
Pros: Everyone polite and very helpful. We needed to use the concierge service a lot and they were very efficient.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like.

Pros: I liked our view of the bay and the hotel was lovely.
Cons: It's the kind of hotel that takes itself too seriously. It was billed as a five star resort, but the only difference I could see between it and any other hotel in the states was the bidet in the bathroom.

Cons: Very damp and musty. The whole room abd the bed smelled like mould. Cleanliness was a problem. The shower was upstairs so far from the room. The breakfast was expensive and not worth the money. The staff were not very helpful. The room had a door to outside that was left open by the cleaning staff while we were out for the day. Very unimpressed.
