Pros: We had such a great time at Sea Breeze House! The room was really spacious (with a walking closet) and the view was amazing. You can see the ocean from the bedroom and bathroom window. There was everything you need for your stay. Also, Miriam and Bernard are the perfect hosts, very kind and warm-hearted. They made us feel so welcome! There was the most delicious banana bread waiting in our room when we arrived and I had - without a doubt - the best Full Irish and the best porridge there. Plus, they know everything about the area and are very helpful when planning your tour. I can only recommend this place. Thank you so much!

Cons: We could not stay longer...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It felt like we were welcomed as family into a family home by very friendly, helpful and relaxed hosts! Everything was clean and we enjoyed a delicious (if not too healthy) breakfast with a beautiful view of the bay (in the rain, but still beautiful!). Would happily have stayed longer. Thank you Miriam, Bernard and Erin for your welcome!
Cons: Signage to the house could be improved, as it's a bit out of the way. The driveway and area around the house is still 'a work in progress', which doesn't give a good first impression, but once you're in, it's a different story, so don't be put off! For those who like a firm bed, the bed we had was on the soft, springy side, but comfortable nonetheless.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff
Cons: Dinner . Not up to standard. Room a little tired . Toilet not flushing. Broken bin no lid .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a time warp. A bronze plaque a the entrance commemorates the fact that Mr. and Ms. De Gaulle stayed here 50 years ago, and when you walk through the door, you feel as if not much has changed since then, in the best sense. The place has of course been modernized to provide all the necessary comforts, but it has retained its charm of another time, and all the space and quiet that comes along with that. The grounds are lovely and secluded, and the surrounding landscape is impressive, great for walks. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the bay window and watched the rain softly drizzling agains the glass and over the garden. Just magical! The staff was all very friendly and helpful. A lovely stay, and one of the highlights of our trip!
