10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were amazing and great with my kids. Their dog was friendly and always came to say hello. We loved the little things they did for the kids, leaving some windmills at our room, hiding painted rocks for them to find and always stopped to have a little chat. Definitely made us feel welcomed and comfortable, would recommend friends to stay here and we would stay again.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely staff and although it wasn't a particularly modern facility it was spotlessly clean and an easy walk to restaurants and cafes.
Cons: We had a studio unit and the kitchen was tiny.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet location that was beautifully kept and presented. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The extra thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, Homemade Jam and bathrobes really made the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: wonderful place to stay, lots of room to spread out and relax in, quiet peaceful and pleasant, favourites were the amazing bed and the spa under the night stars
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners are warm welcoming people who do go above and beyond to get the guest there.. The property is beautiful with well maintained gardens.. They advertised a pool and spa which they did provide. Everything was imaculate in cleaning and hygiene..but the smoke, alarm went off like to quickly when toast was cooked
Cons: The fact their dog was very intrusive.. If they expect guests to have to deal with the owners dog.. I would expect at least rhe courstey of being able to bring a family pet to the premises.. And if guests are to deal with their own breakfast that guests should have a menu to choose from..

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The George Suite is a fabulous suite to stay in! The lounge is huge with dual aspect windows and door to balcony which catches the sun all day. The bed is very comfortable with lovely bedding. The bathroom is spacious with a very welcome bath. The staff were exceptional, we couldn't have asked for a better stay in this lovely, historic town.
Cons: Would have been nice to have the option of a cooked/buffet breakfast. Tiles in shower really need fixing/re-grouting. A little noisy from lunchtime until late evening, from bar and restaurant downstairs. It didn't bother us, but it could some people.
7.0 Good
Cons: Lunch service was not good. I have emailed separately about this.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome, assistance with luggage upstairs appreciated. Very quiet and relaxing (could be a benefit of staying mid week post covid-19). Room spacious, bed very comfy, Bombay theme sumptuous and great light and views of autumn trees and laden apple tree.
Cons: As autumn comes on, just the one wee noisy heater was a bit irritating. A more energy efficient wall panel might be better energy conscious investment? No fan in bathroom, and odd not having towel rails to hang towels to dry?
9.0 Excellent
Pros: room was comfortable
Cons: bar restaurant not open understandable

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room ,shower ,bath and sitting room , very French style, absolutely loved the decor, felt very posh, and the gardens were stunning, like mini palace or manor gardens, even homemade shortbread! Yummy!
Cons: Nothing The picture of the lobby is the sitting room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Briarwood is a stunning property with secluded, manicured gardens and pristine accommodation. Our room was immaculately clean and every detail, down to the linen, has been carefully selected. The living area is just beautiful. We relaxed instantly in the elegant luxury of it all! The owner was easy and lovely to deal with.
Cons: It is no slight on the property, but we stayed on a 33 degree day and the room does not have air conditioning. It made for a hot sleepless night, but this wasn’t enough to tarnish our view of an otherwise gorgeous spot. There’s also a fountain which I’d suggest could probably be turned off at night, but some people may find it relaxing!
