Cons: Hard walk up the hill.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view and the pool , breakfast was nice also, and the owners very friendly
Cons: Didn't really dislike anything , although the walk back up from the marina is a little challenging regardless of how fit you are (after a few beers :-) , also the checking in time of 5 is a little late and feel could be reduced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful
Cons: Long steep walk to town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both Julie and her husband were very helpful. View is spectacular and the accommodation is so peaceful. Will return.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views, beautifully manicured gardens & plants. This b&b is really well looked after. Clean, nicely designed room with a little terrace just for us. Great owners who were always willing to help & offer advice on things to do in the area & were generally lovely people. Nice breakfast in the morning
Cons: The walk back up the hill from Cassis town is tough especially in the heat. Ideally need to be in comfortable shoes for this and out of the sun. Mattress was a little form for our liking but wasn’t a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location: close by and central, yet tucked away just enough from the village’s busy harbour area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved coming home for a swim in the pool looking at the view. In credibly beautiful. Our host was so kind and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Julie the host is absolutely wonderful. She’s very courteous and respectful of your space. It’s sort of like you have an incredible villa overlooking Cassis to yourself. The B&B is better than it looks in the pictures. Incredible breakfast. Incredible service. Rivals 5 star hotels. Thank you Julie!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Even though it was very hard for foreigners to find their way the beautiful view was worth all of the hassle. The decor of the room was very interesting from the way the bunkbeds were hung to the way the shower was designed. We also loved the book of recommended restaurants and activities near the hotel. It was very helpful. The owners were incredibly kind and very helpful throughout our 3 night stay. They clearly loved being the proprietors of a B and B.
Cons: nothing

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location.
Cons: A bit noisy in the morning as we hear the clock of the church as well as pedestrians walking and talking nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome staff, super nice guests, good location. I enjoyed the stay.
Cons: The bathroom was a little bit to tiny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect! The location is excellent, near church and center. The staff especially Pamela were amazing !
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent, quiet location close to restaurants, the beach, grocery, etc. offering the standard fare. In a very small place you have most everything you need: kitchen, pots and utensils, fridge, sink. The general feel of the place is a pleasant one.
Cons: A bit on the pricey side. The house is small and the quarters are tight and feel a bit packed. Popular with mature single women. Upon arrival the owner will ask you to fork out the city tax in cash which I find a bit odd.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay! Meet so many nice people and cassis is just awesome!
Cons: They throw my food in the fridge away! The food was steel good and it was a lot!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very central location, charming and lovely house. Resting area outside with many tables to eat / hang out with other travellers is really nice. Well equipped kitchen, fresh baguette every morning for breakfast (as well as coffee/hot chocolate/tea). Small but cozy with lovely staff. Good wifi in the room and more than enough power sockets for everyone.
Cons: Only one bathroom for 6ish people, toilet and bathtub in same room - occasionally lead to some waiting time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: amazing stay! The owner was so lovely and helped out with finding the best places to go out to, have me a map and a booklet. Would 100% recommend!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely place on a perfect location and the girls working there great! perfect for solo travellers as everybody get together on the yard
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hostels I have ever been too. Really nice warm people and generally a really cozy atmosphere, crazy close to the city center. They take time to explain the location of the most important spots with every guest. Travelers come here from all over the world and each one of them seem to have a really interesting story. I highly recommend this place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alex is an amazing host. If you’re looking for a place to relax, don’t even doubt about this place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Chez Nous Cassis is a spectacular little B&B for a pleasant stay in Cassis. The property is situated in the hills, a bit outside town. It's only two rooms, so it's very quiet day and night. The room itself was very clean and very large, with good air conditioning, and a nice bathroom. The views from the top floor, where a delicious breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee are provided, is amazing. Vineyards, the Cap Canaille cliff. Wonderful and serene. Alexander and his wife were really gracious and generous hosts. Alexander gave us excellent dinner recommendations, tips for site seeing, hiking the Calanques, and more. The private parking in the driveway was great, as parking in Cassis can be complicated. It's about a 30 minute walk into town, which my fiancee and I didn't mind, but walking back uphill can be a bit difficult, so keep that in mind. There are plenty of lots if you want to drive into town, though, which takes only about 5-10 minutes. All-in-all, would highly recommend a stay here!
7.9 Good
Pros: Our host was very knowledgeable about the area and had interesting tips for our exploration. The whole property was very laid back, charming And restful. A very happy stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alex was a great host! His house sits on top of a hill by Cassis, and eating fresh croissants while looking out at the coastal line was our favorite ritual every morning. He also gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Room was nice, bed was comfy and the free parking spot was appreciated!
B&B Le Clos Des Cigales - Cassis - Building
5
8.9 Excellent (113 reviews)
7.5 Good
Pros: Such a sweet host that made our stay so great - amazing breakfast and such a pretty environment- highly recommend this place !!
6.7 Good
Cons: Breakfasts were really not good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming lady of the house ...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Eveline is lovely and an excellent hostess. All the details are very well explained about coming and going since it's her private residence. Terrace spaces she provides are great for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. She's thought of everything you might need during your stay. Breakfast was fresh eggs from her chickens - amazing!
Cons: The home is on a busy road and sometimes traffic noise is noticeable when you're outside. For some people it might be too far from Cassis village, but I enjoyed my 30 minute walk into town past vineyards and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. I think most people who stay here wold have a car anyway.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. More central location in Cassis preferred.
Cons: too far away from center of town
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful ambiance, very friendly, quiet and a nice breakfast including excellent croissants. It a Is a great place to stay if you are traveling by car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted with such warmth and hospitality! The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were really cozy and the breakfast was delicious! The location was perfect, close but far enough away from the crowds. One night we even opted to stay in and order a pizza just to be close to Clos De Cigales, that's how lovely it is. Such a beautiful place, we will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly host Great breakfast Beautiful spot next to olive groves and vineyards
Cons: This wasn't a problem for us but are worth noting: the accommodation is very much on the outskirts of Cassis, so you'll either want your own car or be happy to get the bus
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really delicious. The room and the yard were full of enchanting details, what made us feel like staying longer around the place simply enjoying each corner of it.
Cons: To get to the place a person really needs to have a car.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Property had parking and was conveniently located to restaurants.
Cons: Narrow walkway to get to the port. However, on a plus, we could walk to the start of the Calanques hike from the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: great location, loved the view from the balcony! nice to have a parking spot so close to the beach. A short walk to the calanques and the city center.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff and rooms. Perfect location by the beach with a short walk to the port / town.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location to the beach opposite and to the main port. Parking at the hotel was a real bonus. Beautiful view from the room. We all really enjoyed our 2 night stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and views, great to have spacious parking, quaint little building! The room with balcony was nice, uniquely decorated, well suited for a romantic get away. Wish we had more time to enjoy! It was a comfortable walking distance to down town and the hostess was lovely and helpful. It felt very private, intact we never saw another guest although it was apparently sold out! Spectacular views, definitely the highlight!
Cons: The interior stairs up to the room were dark and felt a bit abandoned. The bar next was very loud and smokey so sitting on the balcony wasn't so nice in the evening. Not staffed 24 hrs so was hard to get breakfast early and check out for our kayaking tour, but it was a lovely breakfast spread! Other than the hostess when we arrived and the woman who made the breakfast and checked us out we never saw anyone else. It was a little like arriving to stay at someone's house but no one is home! Probably if we had stayed two nights it might have been different.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was okay but not as good as other small hotels we had just stayed at. View was fabulous and we loved the outdoor space (we had a big terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.
Cons: Was a but pricey and the only room available when we booked but the the hotel seemed pretty empty- having said that it forced us up a few categories which resulted in comfy outdoor space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with lovely rooms. Able to easily walk to the port and all the fun restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A quirky hotel with loads of personality. The decor is vibrant and fun and our family room had a wonderful outdoor area with it that was an unexpected bonus and a wonderful place to sit in the evening. Great location right on the beach ( which is very busy most of the day!)
Cons: For the price, I feel breakfast should be included, but it was an extra €13 per person.

Pros: Great staff, friendly, generous and helpful. Lovely garden for breakfast / drinks or dinner and ideal location to discover the city.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly.i also liked the restaurant ...lovely shaded patio. And the location was excellent..nice Provençal atmosphere.
Cons: A lick of paint would be great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I did not have breakfast there, but had two dinners there when I was traveling solo in Cassis, also one dinner there with my family, five of us. The food is excellent! The courtyard is a lovely retreat from the heat and crowds on the streets outside. It is sheltered by huge old trees and closed off from the world. The staff is wonderful, they made me feel like family. Special thanks to Julian.
Cons: My room was small, it was fine for me, but would be crowded for two.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole staff is super friendly, helpful and kind. Beautiful garden with a reading corner, great wine in the restaurant, super comfy bed and anti-allergenic pillows.
Cons: Everything was more than perfect, maybe a mini fridge would be handy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great countryside location. Fantastic hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb staff , excellent location in fantastic little town , close to all things you want to get to, couldn't get a taxi back to the station on leaving so manager brought his car in to take us the 2 miles to the station and would even take a tip. Lovely garden and load of character
Cons: room is a bit noisy if you are on the street side as its cleaned early in the morning but soon get used to it ! ask for a garden room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly patron and personal, nice place, good food
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely: a characterful building in walking distance from the main spots of the town and near the beach (which is unbearably full during the day in August, but a rare treat in the early morning). Next to the church, so from 7.00 onwards one does not need an alarm clock. (We like this as part of a Southern European holiday experience). Room with high ceiling, so no AC necessary (it was 33 degrees and quite comfortabel inside the room). Pleasant service. There is a restaurant in the nice garden, but we did not use it. All very clean and well maintained!
Cons: Ventilation in the bathroom could be improved, especially when one takes more than one shower a day. (We know to economise on water, but the Waters around Cassis are quite salty). Breakfast in the garden seemed like a nice idea, but every time we checked it out (after 9.00 in the morning), the buffet looked a bit empty. Perhaps an offering for early birds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect !!!
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were super. They were polite. Helpful. They went the extra mile when we arrived to help w luggage n carpark. The courtyard dining is fantastic. The Japanese Chef did a superb job presenting the local provencal food. Great food n service.
Cons: No aircon. The window had to be left open becos of the 40 deg heat n the church bells chimmed every hour on the hour thru the nite. Kept me awake. The property should provide portable aircon for rent at perhaps €20 per day. No pipes or wires required just stick exhaust hose out the windows. Easy. The heat this summer is bad n i m sure will get worse.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully situated hotel, stunning views, helpful staff and great bar menu! Would love to return.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in wonderful setting. Perfect view of Cassis.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The views are amazing and the location is also great, just a short walk from Cassis. The pools are also lovely and lots of space to relax and plenty of sunbeds to lie on.
Cons: The service in the bars and restaurants was very poor given the standard the hotel is trying to reach, in particular the bars by the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, accommodating staff. Beautiful views and delicious food.
7.9 Good
Pros: Absolutely stunning location, rooms, view, pool area and breakfast area (plus the breakfast is yummy, too!)
Cons: For the price we paid I would expect the breakfast to be included (€30/pp/day) and parking to be included, too! (€15/day) - but never mind. We had a couple of issues which really did affect our stay. We are generally not “complainers” but staying in a 5 star, our room hasn’t been tidied and towels / shower gels etc. replaced / bed not made during the day. So we called the reception if someone could come and take care of the room while we’re out and about. Come back and only bed was made - nothing else touched. (sinks not wiped etc, bins not emptied, coffee area plus dirty cups not replaced!..) It’s not that big a deal it’s only that bare minimum you expect to get in a hotel that charges €500 per night..? We called several times to get someone to come and give us dry towels at the end of the day when we got back, waited half an hour- nothing- so my partner had to go to the reception himself to get them. At the end of our stay we were discounted the parking charge as a sorry. That’s nice but as I mentioned this should be free of charge anyway! (My opinion). Anyways, we loved the hotel facilities- it honestly is stunning. The service just need to be upgraded a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place to be! This Hotel in Cassis is just beautiful . I can highly recommend this hotel. The stuff is very friendly and professional. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The pools are very nice and the entry to the sea is just beautiful. This is a real high class hotel in a very nice area of Cote a Zur.
7.9 Good
Pros: Helpful staff, thank you very much
Cons: Air conditioning poor. Room was not the cleanest and I think smelled of dogs.
Les Jardins de Cassis - Cassis - Bedroom
9
8.2 Excellent (1,189 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Cassis, Les Jardins de Cassis is within a 15-minute walk of Cassis Harbour and Cassis Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Cassis? This hotel has facilities measuring 1076 square feet (100 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool away from the hustle and bustle of Cassis port. Free, secure parking on site which makes it quite a sport watching people try to park as you walk down to the port. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is very comprehensive. nice pool.
Cons: It’s a very steep 20 min walk back up from the port. In this heat a bit taxing but there is a nice little park about half way to rest and admire the view. The hotel is just short of being excellent due to a bit of maintenance lacking. Our room was a bit tired and the communal areas could do with sweeping regularly to remove pine needles and some dead plants needed tending. There were some sharp screws a bot proud of the steps leading to the room that could cut a child’s foot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely garden setting with pool. Helpful staff, good breakfast.
Cons: A bit hard to get around due to lack of transportation options. If you have mobility issues don’t stay here. Cassis is very hilly and you have to walk a lot up and down hills since there are no taxis or ubers. If you’re fit and don’t mind walking, not a problem. A small thing. Please use better glasses in bathroom. The cheap plastic cups are awful. Even nice plastic glasses would be better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: My friend and I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Les Jardins de Cassis. The staff were super helpful and friendly, with fabulous customer service. We loved the pool area, bar area and garden. Breakfast was good and reasonable value for money. Parking was easy. We loved Cassis and Les Jardins de Cassis and would love to be able to go back.
Cons: Wifi - literally did not work in our room; even close to the reception area it was weak. The walk back up the hill from the town and port of Cassis is not for the unfit. Could the hotel, or if not the hotel the local Mairie, provide some sort of shuttle bus, particularly in summer and particularly given the geography of the area and that many of the accommodation options are a steep walk up hill from town? We even found it hard to find a taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Suite was perfect for family, pool was a great plus after a hot day!
Cons: Breakfast was very busy and only 1 coffee maker. Often waited in line for coffee. Carafe of coffee was often empty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reception on arrival. Friendliness of staff. Excellent : Breakfast, pool, garden, parking,
Cons: Nothing, except Cassis is a very hilly resort and the hotel was a little out of centre and quite steep hilly roads up and down to town centre. We used our car and parked in Mimosa car park which is just a few minutes from centre. If you are young and able the walk down from hotel to centre would be approx 15 minutes. Back up may take longer depending on the heat. No other problems.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: welcoming staff, well appointed rooms, swimming pool and parking, as well as the excellent Cassis rosé
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the flamingoes in the pool!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Superb, friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome! Would definitely visit again
Cons: No negatives, but it would be good to have a fridge in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is out of town slightly and the walk back is steep uphill for a good 20 minutes. That said everything else was really good. Our room was spacious and the hotel was in lovley grounds.Nice swimming pool but no longer available by the afternoon.Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The walk back from town was testing but I think part of this was that it was over 30 c.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff, the breakfast, and the pool.
Cons: Long climb back to hotel from center of Cassis and an additional long climb to our room especially with our luggage. No nearby restaurants.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
7.5 Good
Pros: Superb location, great service, good breakfast , nice, friendly and accommodating personnel. We really enjoyed our stay and fell in love with this town. Recommend this hotel to everyone. Book the room with street view, although might be a little noisy the view to the chateau is incredible especially at night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, nice bathroom. Clean room.
Cons: Bad WiFi signal in the room. Check in only at 4pm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was a fine hotel for the money - it’s not luxury but served our purposes well! The bed was comfy and AC worked well which was all we needed for our one night in Cassis, and very well located to the center, port, restaurants etc.
Cons: The room was quite small and bathroom was a bit run down.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Central location, warm welcome, nice comfy room, character.
Cons: If I had a car with me (I didn’t) I doubt it would be possible to park nearby as it’s right in the centre near the harbour area. Also it is not suitable for guests with mobility issues as there’s no elevator and entrance is via a flight of stairs
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very nice and comfortable bathroom quiet room very well located ideal config for a family of 4 with parents on the one end and kids on the other part of the room so some privacy while being all in the same room possibility to book parking in advance good breakfast with different options, good price for value very nice support from the staff always willing to help with a smile fridge and air conditionningin the room were very precious
Cons: shower was not working well the room window was directly on the restaurant so we kept the curtains closed. on the other hand, it was very quiet so we liked it a lot.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was very good. Room was basic but clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Catherine was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was beyond expectations We didn't take breakfast with the hotel . The hotel is very close to the beach and to the port and restaurants. Beautiful trip to the 9 Calanques that I recommend.
Cons: The beach was good but the water was as cold as in Canada.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, just in the center of the town; our windows were at the noisy street but inside was quiet, it’s a great +! Another plus is an air co! Personnel is also super helpful and nice
Cons: Bathroom is too small (or we are too big?...), I got few bruises as everything is too packed
7.5 Good
Pros: I somehow missed the fact that the hotel does not have an elevator and so it was a hassle getting my big suitcase up and down. Also, while I appreciate the effort to make the tiny rooms as comfortable as possible, only a midget could fit comfortably in the shower stall and this would have been a problem if I was staying for more than one night. Staff were very helpful however, and the location was great in terms of seeing the town etc.
Cons: See above. Also no international channels on TV as advertised.

Pros: Nadia was incredibly helpful, friendly, energetic. She met gave us directions to the nearest parking, met us there and helped us haul our suitcases and bags to the apartments, showed us around, gave us tips for local activities and remained available and quick to reply for our entire stay. This was particularly important since we were traveling with my 75-yr-old parents and my father has Parkinsons making lots of walking and climbing a chore. Nadia made our arrival, departure and stay in Cassis as magical and wonderful as we had hoped!
Cons: Ouf, those stairs are steep! No problem for us, but for my Dad it was a little bit of a challenge. However, the views made the climb SO worth the effort!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a smell in the unit. No tissue paper. Need more variety of hotel bathroom products.
Cons: The view. room was comfartable. zthe balcony was a plus.

Pros: Location perfect. Excellent view of harbour. Restuarants and shops directly bellow our 3rd floor apt. Spacious. No kitchenette or laundry.
Cons: Host couldn’t speak English therefore difficult to arrange location and parking by phone. Private parking is very secure but very tight. We damaged our hire car due to Nadia’s ( host) poor navigating into the bay. We thought they would not charge for the parking due to her bad guidance causing anguish and insurance claim, but the owner said he wasn’t driving so pay up! Well he is correct and we shouldn’t have trusted anyone but ourselves!! We however would try and compensate our guests a little ($36euro) as goodwill. We are in hospitality and in Australia we love happy customers. BE AWARE there is no lift, so 3 sets of stair carrying own luggage. Amazing view.

Pros: Location and very clean

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind and helpful hosts, nice swimming pool, quiet location, good breakfast, free parking
Cons: Not far from the centre, but there is a steep hill from the centre to B&B. If you want to visit the centre/beach more than once a day, a car is recommended.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely outside environment, pool, garden, quiet away from crowds. Great breakfast.
Cons: The upstairs room was difficult to move around in for a tall person. Standing up in the shower over bath was not possible. Quite expensive for what was supplied.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fabulous! We had yoghurt made by the innkeeper, and preserves made by her mother. The view from the garden is splendid.
Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer!
7.9 Good
Cons: Breakfast booked but only served after 8:30 - that was too late, but it was not refunded
5.4 Okay
Pros: Pool and breakfast
Cons: The rooms would benefit from air conditioning. Also, it’s a good 20 minute walk from town, up hill, so if travelling without a car and in the heat of mid-summer you do think twice about how many times you take on the hill in a day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Jennifer is a lovely host and she does a great job to make you feel at home. Breakfast is superb
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful, nice, and made us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable, clean, and inviting. It was cozy and felt like we were home instead of in another hotel. I loved having a tea kettle and tea to enjoy in the room too.
Cons: Nothing- it was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jennifer is very helpful and made us a nice breakfast. The apartment was large and comfortable and well stocked. Very quiet setting. We like the private setting. We felt very safe and secure in this lovely compound.
Cons: An ocean view is always nice but not necessary.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is a gem - a warm welcome, stunning setting and exceptionally kind hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and the pool was lovely.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel VERY recommended.
Cons: The hotel says it has parking but they only have 5 parkings for all guests and we were not informed of this. The access roads to the hotel were closed because of a national holiday and they didn't send us a message about it. The room was very humid and the air conditioning did not work 100%.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good air con, great to have a fridge and kettle. Brilliant location especially if you’re using public transport
Cons: No lift
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central Location
Cons: Rooms on the small side
5.7 Okay
Pros: We only needed one night at the hotel. The staff is friendly And helpful and they managed to reserve a parking spot for us for $16 euros. Low budget hotel. You get what you pay for.
Cons: The ac does not work The parking garage is VERY small and narrow so pick your battle - my boyfriend would have rather tried to navigate to a larger parkade and walk back with our luggage. The rooms do the trick but they are older
7.5 Good
Pros: Alain from reception was extremely helpful and friendly Thank you
Cons: With heavy suitcases the access was difficult
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is right at the centre of the town, with great access to beach, harbour, cafes, but still quiet. View of the castle and duck pond were delightful.
Cons: The room is very small, and shower even smaller. The decor is very ordinary indeed, but we were - overall - comfortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice hotel in an excellent location 2 minutes from the beaches, port and quay. Has own parking garage (for small cars only though) and a cozy garden for breakfast.
Cons: The room is pretty small, wasn't able to open the suitcase fully.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: lovely hotel great location friendly staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location - just few steps from the park/centre/harbor, helpfull and kind staff, simple, but cozy room.
6.3 Good
Pros: location
Cons: no elevator. tiny rooms. with 2 suitcases mine was on top of the desk. Room 115 is on the back but early mornings the trash is being collected. Very loud/noisy outside (see pic).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants and a parking.
Cons: The water pipes are a bit noisy when the neighbours use the bathroom but with ear plugs it's ok. There is a shelve in the bathroom that is too close to the door. We hit our heads several times.

Pros: Nice rooms, nice shower, perfect air conditioner, wonderful view from the varanda.
Cons: A little bit far from the city, but ok if you have a car.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Soap
Cons: Oh my word! Be warned! The photo’s don’t look anything like what you get. Basically you get what you pay for. 1 night here is more than you will ever need! Never again! Make sure you’re in a FORMULA 1 Car When you leave as it’s on a very busy road. Need a new clutch after hitting a gap.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, staff and the cute dog
Cons: Small bathroom for price
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel le Golfe in Cassis, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Cassis Beach and 12 minutes by foot from Calanques National Park. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and wonderful view from room of the marina. Basic hotel but clean and comfortable. Staff absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Le Golfe is situated perfectly. We booked a room with a balcony facing harbour. Staff is very nice and helpful. They helped us to get a taxi to train station when we were leaving a bit in hurry. This was our second time in this hotel, and would definitely book from here again, if we'd come to visit Cassis!
7.9 Good
Pros: Your reservation process was misleading and cost me over 100 euros more than had I booked directly with the hotel. There were 5 people in my party. The hotel could have accommodated all 5 in two rooms. You indicated that at least 3 rooms would be needed. You really ought to reimburse me for one of them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved Le Golfe! My boys and had the best getaway for 5 nights last week...we had a sea view which is MUST!!! You can go to sleep with the beautifully lit castle view outside your patio door. Sarah and her sister at the front desk were so darling and helpful. My boys would give this 2 star hotel and 4 star rating that's how much they enjoyed their stay..and Cassis is just the most darling little towns...we cannot wait to return someday.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Staff weren't too helpful in check-in, check-out or even helping clean the room. If you expect us to have room empty or available to be cleaned because your timings to do that are only upto 10.30AM and that you cannot do it later, then you need to make every effort of informing that to your guests. We ended up staying there for two nights with no room cleaning. Thankfully, they helped with fresh towels at the very least.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Balcony view, staff, breakfast. Easy to take the swimming boat to the Calanques!
Cons: Bed was a bit stiff. Shower small
7.1 Good
Pros: Location on the port
Cons: One staff member was unfriendly
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was fantastic, it's a stunning place and I would recommend however make sure you take ample money to accommodate the excessive prices.
Cons: Rooms could have been cleaner but I wouldn't like to clean in 34c heat.. There was no kettle or fridge facilities which made our stay extremely expensive. €4.50 for a coffee, €3 for a red bull. It's cheaper to buy a beer €2... Also was quoted £697 for 7 nights. By the time we left it had gone up to £742, we didn't have a breakfast once.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful. Position of hotel is excellent.
Cons: Breakfast buffet looked tired and empty if you arrive around 9am but was good at 7.30am.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The view is amazing overlooking the marina. The location is great because you step out the door of the hotel onto the marina and you can walk from there to any of the restaurants or around the marina to the beach.
Cons: The rest of the place was pretty awful. Hardly decorated except for a few oddly placed prints of exotic animals. The room itself was so plain, with nothing on the walls except for the tiny TV in the tippy-top corner of the wall (for which they had to give you the remote when you check in). The room was so tiny it was hard to squeeze by the foot of the beds. The bathroom was also tiny, with just a single stall standing shower that was not lit as part of the bathroom lighting. The room in general was just not clean, and you could feel debris sticking to your feet when walking about barefoot (shortly after checking in). The worst part about this place was that you could hear every little cough, footstep, and even turns of keys in room doors throughout the whole building the entire night and morning. It was nearly impossible to get any sleep because of this. To add to the mess, a storm came through and knocked out the power, and it seemed Hotel Le Golf was the last to get it back, resulting in a mass exodus, including us. Do yourself a favor - for the same price, stay at the Best Western up the street.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The sea view room indeed have a fantastic view looking down the port and the sea further away
Cons: Nothing really, a few hairs left in the bathroom, can be improved though

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Unorganised staff. 3 star hotel .. 5 star price and everything is extra cost ... have stayed here a few tomes but this time seemed very unorganised.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel has an excellent location right opposite a beautiful beach and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance (5 minutes) to the little town and port with lots of restaurants. The hotel also has a restaurant "Same Same" with good food right opposite the hotel with a view of the beach.
Cons: We could not get a seaview room at the time we booked and settled for a garden view room which was fine. The problem was that the room was situated directly beneath the extractor fan of the hotel's kitchen which meant the room smelt like a kitchen permanently as the fumes from the kitchen was sucked into the room by the airconditioning and the room's patio also smelt of food. You could not sit outside on the patio or inside the room without smelling food. On top of that, the huge extraction fan made a terrible noise till very late at night. If it was not for this "food smell" the hotel would really be quite nice. Please also book parking in the hotel's parking area the public parking is a nightmare.
7.1 Good
Pros: Position
Cons: Didn’t have parking availability that was pre requested. Mix up in prior booking. No fridge in room . No block out curtains. Very small room. Paint work Tired.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice view of the Mediterranean Sea, nice town to visit
Cons: Price of consumptions were sky high Not so much to do in the area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning balcony views. Steps away from the beach. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was fine but a limited choice particularly on fresh fruit for €13 a head. The location just across the road from the beach is fantastic and its just a short walk to the port which is beautiful for an evening stroll and dinner.
Cons: We were driving and the hotel has very limited parking which you much book in advance. We didn't know this and consequently had to find parking ourselves. There is a beach car park nearby but if its full you have to drive around until you get a spot which, at least in August, wasn't easy.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Good location and nice view from the balcony. That's all.
Cons: Overpriced!!! This hotel needs massive renovation. The facilities are absolutely out of date. The bathroom is too small and so hard to get in and out of the shower. The shower door is too short that it makes the floor so wet after each shower. The aircon made so much noise. The mattress is too soft and we didn't have a good sleep. They asked you to pay for parking and couldn't even get a proper parking. There is no fridge, no iron and the lift is tiny too.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great view from the terrace, good location in front of the beach, near by parking (it costs eur23 for 24 hours). Smiling reception girls.
Cons: Smelly towels, uncomfortable pillows and medium comfort beds, medium quality bed linens. Unclean dishes at the breakfast. One of the cieling lamp in the room was strangely leaking with water drops (room #9).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous views from the terrace of our room, our room windows and from the hotel restaurant terrace. The room we stayed in was exceptional, modern, clean and stylishly furnished. Quiet and peaceful, very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant. At departure we couldn't get a taxi, so a hotel employee very kindly drove us to the train station.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is outstanding and the style of the hotel is great. The staff were very helpful and lovely people. Food was excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was beautiful-- right on Mediterrean sea.
Cons: Our room face the back and it smelled of bacon.

Cons: Shower wasn’t very strong
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location walking distance to all Cassis has to offer. Nice pool, comfortable size room, Juliet balcony, spacious bathroom with hair dryer and amenities provided
Cons: The MOST uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! Would recommend hotel upgrade quality of mattress and bedding. Sheets were cheap and duvet was quite thin. Pillows were of low quality as well and no extra pillows provided. Curtains were translucent and did not allow privacy in room, which was problematic because the neighboring guests were on their balcony in view until past midnight. Driveway was extremely tight to get up in car, warning about this would have been nice so I could have simply walked from street.
7.5 Good
Pros: Sabrina was wonderful
7.5 Good

Cons: Apartment was separate from hotel complex, not convenient for pool (via locked car park).

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent!, the room was really nice
7.0 Good
Pros: This hotel is right in the city center with easy access to everything. It is very clean.
Cons: It took some time to find the hotel. The hotel has limited parking spaces. In the evening, I can hear noises from the bar just below the hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The night staff was nice and gave some recommendations to my fiancé to run around Cassis. It was much appreciated and very helpful.
Cons: There was no hairdryer despite the description of having it. The shower was very dirty with yellow stuff at the bottom. The room was right above a bar which was noisy till late in the night. The price is very high for what it is even considering the peak season compared to many other cities / towns we visited in France. Not sure why the price for me was almost $150 while on their wall the price for a standard room was only 70 euros for 2018. There was also no parking but that’s common in the country I guess.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: friendly, helpful staff excellent location, close to the sea
Cons: breakfast could be better
7.1 Good
Pros: Tres bon accueil. hôtel well run. Unfortunately, it was hard to find a parking In the neighborhood. Too bad !
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was excellent; close to the pier, restaurants and a couple of minutes walk to the beach.
Cons: Getting to the hotel was a challenge. Couldn't find parking to check-in. The holder for the hand-held shower did not hold the handle properly, so it could not be used as an overhead shower. Shower was a bit small.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Many things in our room we're broken and the internet didn't work in the hotel. Staff did nothing to help us.

Enjoy your stay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was great, close to the city center, walkable. Pool area is really nice with a nice view and comfortable sun beds.
Cons: The rooms were super old and tiny. If you get the rooms in the "basement", there isn't a lot of light and super cramped. The room wasn't that clean when we checked-in. The mini fridge was all wet inside and looked gross. The service was okay, they weren't super friendly or helpful.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location in a very nice town. Good pool area and decent breakfast buffé.
Cons: Impossible to find any shade at the pool area which makes it too hot at daytime. Very small rooms and the balconies are so small you can’t really use them for other than drying clothes. Price is a bit on the expensive side but I guess that should be expected given the location.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is clean and overall good. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is definitely a 3-star hotel so don't expect luxury. However, we were comfortable with a large bed and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent if a little pricey.
Cons: This hotel is a little "tired" and needs some maintenance and care. For example, most tables in the breakfast room have plastic edging falling off. The lock to our bathroom fell off (although to be fair was replaced) and the tap to our sink was loose. The view from the pool across to the sea is undoubtedly superb but, as used in booking.com it does not let customers know that, in fact, there is a steep and long climb up from the harbour to the hotel. The pool is great but its surroundings a bit "tatty". I know it is the South of France and mid-season but this hotel is a little overpriced at over £200 a night without breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff and pool area were great but the hotel itself was quite basic and the room was small with very little space to hang clothes. It’s an easy walk to the harbour and beaches and first Calanque.
Cons: Beds were a bit soft and there was quite a lot of noise from the road.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The rooms are very small. Car parking is a problem
5.8 Okay
Cons: Ac was terrible. The room was too hot. No solution according to staff

Cons: No sun shades by the pool??? What’s up with that?
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Most things were really good, the pool area was great
Cons: I didn’t dislike anything about the hotel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was great! Super easy and convenient to deal with.
Cons: Rooms a little small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Comfortable stay in a great location close to the water in a charming seaside town. - A nice outdoor pool and deck area - Gorgeous view from the pool deck and restaurant area overlooking the water - Close to harbor with easy walk to the waterside with all its cafes and restaurants
Cons: - The hotel doesn't have many parking spots, and you have to reserve it ahead of your arrival. If you don't, you're on your own to find and pay for public parking (which can be rough / far away during busy summer months). - The breakfast did not look particularly great for the price, but you are so close to all the cafes at the harbor that this wasn't very important. - Price was pretty high for a basic room - though of course, in August in a seaside town, that was to be expected.
