Pros: The staff were very nice and took great care of us . The location us perfect for a short getaway and romantic cosy place right on the sea front. And not forgetting the superb Inca ruins on the same site
Cons: Just the road to the hotel could do with a little work to improve
Pros: Beautiful caminata to the pinquin Cave. Lovely birds! Very nice staff and personel.
Pros: When your traveling from Ica/Huacachina to Arequipa you’ll have a 13 hour drive ahead of you. When you want to divide this route into two days it is a great pit stop. It’s also suited for a two nights stay, because it’s directly located at the beach. We arrived late (because we used it as a pitstop) and they prepared a nice meal straight away. Really great after driving 6 hours. The rooms are fine (good beds) and there’s hot water in the shower. Extra tip: when you go there you have to take a sandpath on your right side when you’re driving on the panamaricana (coming from ica). When we arrived it was dark so we were doubting if it was the right path, but it is. After 5 minutes you’ll see the lights.
Pros: Location is great, but because they know that rooms are very old and partly dirty, nothing to feel comfortable in. We just just it as a stop over.
Pros: The scenery setting and the beach itself is very nice. The hotel looks very stylish from the outside. Rooms were very clean. However, I feel like the was not the value for the money. It was a bit too pricy for what is it.
Cons: There was no hot water, no wifi and we felt quite strange as the whole place seemed to be deserted.
Pros: The first room I stayed in was perfect, the food was very good and the location was amazing.
Cons: The pet parrott woke me up early and I asked to be moved to a different room and the room I was moved to was not very nice.
Pros: The surrounding area was amazing
Pros: Location on a beach / Restaurant at the hotel.
Cons: Only cash payment / Music quite loud from the bar.
Pros: Visiting the interesting ruins. Friendly staff.
Cons: The pool was being regrouted and we should have been told the pool was not available - it’s probably available now. Hot room and no air conditioning.
Pros: Beautiful location right at the beach with Inca ruins 300 meters away. Food was great and the staff was very friendly. Here were comfortable and our room had a nice view.
Cons: The room was expensive for what it provided - no TV, no WiFi , and the curtains were only transparent sheers so anyone walking by on the deck could see into our room. There's also a 7 minute drive on a dark, bumpy, narrow dirt road from the highway.
When you stay at Hotel Meflo Playa Grande in Chala, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Chica Beach and Chala Main Square. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Big room, fridge, vieuw, balkony
Cons: No water at the evening and nobody know whats going on. No solution at all. Next morning the problem was solved but no excus or what ever. Poor breakfeast No restaurant, only available: icecream, beer and water. No restaurant nearly. Only a very smal shop with nothing on the other side of street. The whole hotel needs refurbishment. The location of the hotel at google.maps isn't right. The hotel is on the mainstreet, coming from Nazca direcction, on the right site almost at the end of the village. Coming from the north, at the left site after de smal fishing harbour. 3 stars voor this hotel is far over the top. But the way between Nazca and Arequipa is very long and you most have a stand over. On booking.com there are only 2 choices: the hotel at Puerto Inka en this one. Thus : between "nothing" and 3x "nothing". It's up to you.. But there are some other hotels on the mainroad, maybe a try worth......
Pros: Hot shower after a very long car drive.
Cons: The address for the property isn't correct on booking.com website. GPS/ google took us out of town onto a very bad, unsealed road which nearly damaged the car. Hotel very basic and not very pleasant. Drive to Nazca if you can, more accomodation options there.
Pros: The room was big and with a nice view. Helpful staff. Secure parking included. Overall is not a bad place to rest for one night.
Cons: Water in the shower was barely warm. The mattress was older than me and the beach is full of trash.
Pros: The staff was very nice, very clean room. We enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean. Good breakfast.
Cons: Only issue was cold water for shower but it’s not easy to find places in Peru with hot showers.
Pros: The location right next to the sea
Cons: Bad quality finishes for the price and no hot water.Very bad quality breakfast .Terrible, it would be better not to include it at all.
Pros: The location
Cons: Poor quality breakfast
Pros: View +++, pleasant locals, tasty fish at local restaurant.
Cons: No hot water for shower.
