Cons: The total price for renters on PR needs to include the third party mandatory insurance which is 15$ a day when you reserve online and needs to be disclose on the web page. Because they wont let you take the car without this insurance so is a surprise when you arrive at the place with an unexpected huge fee. You may have full cover insurance from the USA but it may not have third party protection insurance so you will be charge extra 15$ a day.

Pros: Staff was friendly and the car was pretty much brand new.Cons: The pickup process was way too slow. It took around 30-40 minutes between signing documents, inspecting the car, etc. This process must be improved! I would probably not rent here again just because of this.

Pros: The car and staff were fine.Cons: Tons of hidden costs and fees. Ended up being over double the amount shown on the original booking. Pickup and Dropoff were very confusing. Shuttle took forever to arrive at the airport. No one works at the desk.

Pros: I was able to put the deposit on my debit card when I did not have the full rental amount on my credit card. The employees were very helpful and straightforward, and the dropping off of the car was a breeze.Cons: Choices in cars.

Cons: Ok the best service is when you rent a car be honest and show a complet price for the car rental. Not just show half price so when you go to pick the car they charge with a bunch of numbers. The company should said tha aditional charges will be paid at pickup.

Pros: The attendant was a liar. I reserved car to be pick up at noon. they did not have car available but they were pretending to do.Cons: Tell the truth, and offer help to find a car if they over book. I asked the attendant for help his answer was "you have to call other car rental by your self". I am not form the area, and by the time he told me all rental car were closed or with out cars.

Cons: This is the second time I rented and left down. Just this time was in a forigner country. I booked, paid same amount for insurance, had my personal insurance, and my credit card. All of them were presented to person in the counter, in Aguadilla Airport, Puerto Rico. He did not accepted and he had tried to sell me another package of insurance. As I denied, of course, he denied the rental. I was left on the street in a different country, 1:00 o clock in the morning. I will never rwnt deom easy rent a car anymore and not advise anybody to do so. About Allianz Insuranse, left me down when (NOT EASY TO RENT A CAR, did not accept they policy, the # they have to call for assure they police was good, never had a person and the phone call was alway direct to a web site. So both crooks! I want my money back!

Cons: Too expensive compared to others companies and what they offer, the way they want you to charge for the tolls is ridiculous and way too expensive even if you don't use the tools everyday, the car has small cockroaches inside and wasn't clean, you can see nastiness everywhere.

Cons: The way they want you to pay for the tolls 10$ for the activation and 8.95 a daily even of you dont use them everyday they charge you! If you buy the insurance at the counter it's 3 times more expensive than buy it online, the car had cockroaches inside and it was a little dirty.

Best rental experiencePros: Joel, the Manager is a great person. The selected vehicle was not ready for some reason, so I received a free upgrade to a more comfortable vehicle! He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the offer, which I was. No hidden charges whatsoever and never a hard upsell for insurance or anything. Whenever the need arises, I will be back at Enterprise Mayaguez! Thank you Joel !!!Cons: Nothing to dislike!

Value for the moneyPros: I liked the price, it was a clean car and did its job getting me and the family to the other side of the island.Cons: I don't like small cars. I'm use to my big truck back home where things fit with room to spare and I feel safer with my family knowing they are not in a small death trap of a car. I also tried calling them and got no answer after waiting 30 min on the phone listening to hold music.

No one available to picj up the carCons: When I went to pick up the car, there was no one there. After waiting for a little while a young lady came in and told me the person in charge had an emergency and she will be covering for her but she didn't have keys or access. Long story short I was not able to rent the car there.

Cons: The vehicle was not in satisfactory condition. The tires had a leak and we had to stop to fill it on several occasions. The wheels were warped and the van would shake when driven.

Great service.Pros: Originally did not know that this was a after hours drop off location. I was concerned, as I have never just left the keys for a vehicle in a box. A few minutes after sropping off the keys, a gentleman who was cleaning the cars came by and I inquired. He said “come on over and I get you all taken care of!” He did just that. Great service and excellent prices.Cons: Reservation should have prompted me to be aware that this site would require me to drop off the keys in a box and park in the pay lot (even though I wouldn’t personally be charge).

No car when I arrivedPros: NothingCons: We had prepaid and booked a car and received a call the day of our expected arrival to confirm that we continued to be I tersted I. The car rental. Given the situation in Puerto Rico, and the challenges we had anticipated, we appreciated them checking in! However, despite our confirming our travel, when we arrived to the car rental location we were told there was no car available. We, along with the many others were left without transportation, despite our prepaid fees and confirmation. We travel frequently and rent in Thai location for over 9 years and have never had this issue. I understand the current challenges facing all areas of PR but am so disappointed that we were not told that they would not be able to acomidate us. Will think twice about using Thrifty in this location in the future.

Pros: This is the worst experience I've had. I reserved a convertible car two days in advance to pick up at BQN at 12pm I call to confirm at 10am and the receptionist said they dont have conv, and that the SJU (which is 2 hours away from BQN) office is sending a jeep in exchange for the conv. When I arrived at their terminal the vehicles available where 2 and in very dirty and smoking smell, and the jeep that was coming from the 2 hour drive was just an 1 hour and half still away, this is a disrespect for a company that calls themself organized, the receptionist rented me a hyndai tucson, which when I returned left a bag with some gifts under the drivers seat trying to secure it at the hotel parking, and when I called 30 minutes after returning the car BQN said the car was in its way to SJU and that there was no way to contact the driver in his 2 hour drive. It's this possible? And the SJU phones when I called no one answered, it's been a week after I contact both office, which gave a lame excuse saying they can't find the vehicle, I mean you don't know where the hell is you fleet? You can't track the damm vehicle and it's yours, I am sure the items where on the vehicle, you said it's not responsible for items left in vehicle, well its human to error, just like they did when the error on not telling me they did not have conv, and were not on time to delivered. they don't know how to respond to my missing items and have not got the pants to a least make a courtesy call to say what happened. This is a bad experience and I will not recommended based on this experience, and I do write and travel very often.

Here have been instances, with other companies, where even after making reservations the vehicles are not available due to high demand during the holidays. Car was clean and in great working condition. Brand new.Cons: The price increase because of the holidays. Ended paying $100 a day.
