My car was cancelled last minute and they did not put much effort into making something work for me. it put me in a tough spot.

No cars, overbooked, bad attitude. Made me late for my trip, and after a long talk with the manager, they said it was a corporate problem with overbooking, said that if they were me, rather than wait for hours and hope a car is returned, they would go down the street and rent from Enterprise, which I did, paid $30 extra and Enterprise got a car delivered from another location to help me.

They were closed when I arrived but took my reservation . I had to get another Uber and go to the Phoenix airport to rent a car and waited in an hour long line. I would like hertz to pay god my Uber rides

When I showed up 5 minutes prior to my pick up time, they told they didn’t have a car available for me nor did they have any solution. They still haven’t refunded me my money. I will never book with Hertz again.

Scottsdale location was great. That is where I picked up the car. I dropped off the car in Las Vegas at the hertz location inside treasure island. That was terrible.

Hertz called me 12 hours before my pick up time and said they had no cars. But then they still charged my account for the rental I never had! They told me they didn’t charge me but my account said otherwise. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge the day I was supposed to rent the car. Absolute headache and they did not care. Very unsatisfied with Hertz and will never use them again!!!

Upon arrival at Hertz, we were not greeted. There seemed to be a total of 3 staff working. I observed 2 male staff members working with other clients, while the 3rd employee (female) saw us, didn’t say anything (I.e “I’ll be right with you”) and went into the bathroom. Once she came out I made eye contact and said “hello” and she immediately said “someone else will be right with you” while she continued to stand at the front desk, doing nothing. This was very frustrating. Eventually one of the male staff members, Marquee I believe, came to help us and apologized for the female employees unprofessionalism. Marquee was great, once he got the process started we were out in 10 mins. Kuddos to him!

returned the car 5 days early, and was denied any refund because it had been rented and paid for through a third party.. will never rent through hertz or kayak again.
