Even though Hertz could not fulfill my reservation, they did not erroneously charge me for it.I was able to make a reservation to pick up a car at the State College Hertz, but when I showed up, the place was closed and I was instructed to pick up my car at the airport. I called the airport Hertz to confirm this, but no one answered the phone. When I arrived at the Hertz at the airport, there were no cars available, despite being able to reserve one.

Staff what is friendly and efficient. Pick up and drop off was easy.I rented an SUV and dropped it off with a full tank two days later. It was a simple transaction and went according to plan.

Hertz is the worst?I showed up for my reservation and they didnt have a car for me.... worse, they couldn't issue a refund at the desk. Instead, I had to call Hertz corporate, which was a nightmare.

The car was not ready when we showed up, and the car was a smaller size than what we reserved. It was a one-way rental, and I was told at my destination that they had never seen a contract like the one I had been issued. It took 24 hours to resolve it.
