Pros: Efficient service at rental and return
Offered to drop me off somewhere when I returned car and he saw I didnt have a ride waiting
Good price for the amount of time that I had the car (especially considering summer, stampede)

Pros: The agents were polite and we got our car quickly.
Cons: I was shocked that none of the cars available had snow tires - in Calgary in December. The all-season tires on our car were quite worn-down, so driving was much more hazardous and stressful than it needed to be. We told the agents we were traveling to BC and they failed to mention that it's illegal to drive on the highway there without snow tires. They also neglected to tell us that they were going to be closed at the time of our scheduled drop-off.

Pros: The car was good
Spacious and comfortable for the trip

Cons: The employee was pushy when we first rented the car
I declined the insurance at first and then he was talking I felt like if I didn't buy the insurance he would have found things to charge me for after we returned it - even though there was not an inspection done with myself and the employee before the car was rented. When I got the car home I found dirty used kleenex in the back seat of the van in the cupholders and there was an empty can of pop in the console, the car ran out of washer fluid 4 hours into the trip so I had to purchase washer fluid for the remainder of my trip. And the change oil light came on the first day. When I went to return the car, it was the same employee who I returned it to, he went out and came back in and told me the gas was not at full - so I went and put in the literal $8.00 that it was low. I asked if I was going to be reimbursed for the washer fluid as he went on about the inconvenience for the next customer with the gas being $8.00 below full. So I asked about my inconvenience of driving on the highway with children in the car and running out of washer fluid - the amount of bugs hitting the window and no washer fluid is not only inconvenient - but if I can't see put the windows it's also very dangerous. I will never rent from here again. I will also make sure that I tell people who are renting to avoid this place, it's not worth it. I don't appreciate his condescending attitude.

Cons: Don't know why the survey for customer satisfaction has to be done when I first pick up the car and not at the end of the deal. Also, the survey is done in front of the service rep. So you cannot give anything negative.
Cons: We arrived to the location at 12:15 for a 12:00 reservation to find the office closed. We were not notified of the importance of being there by 12. Below is a summary of the negative impact this had on us:
- additional direct cost of $200 of total rental charges (including what we had to pay a competing car rental company for a last minute rental)
- additional 8 hours of driving to come back to Calgary versus the original booking of Vancouver
- cutting our vacation short by one night to be able to return to Calgary in time
- additional cost of $100 in lodging expenses due to changed itinerary
- lost full day of vacation between time searching for a new car and altering plans
