Good location. Very nice staff, very helpful in any problems we had. We love to have freash water and other drinks in our fridge free of charge. Also the Spa side offered free water, tea and fruits. We felt Spa area was not warm enough. Also staying there for one week we felt that breakfasts were simple and everyday we had the same choices. The room we had was too little to be 4 stars +.
The Spa The matresses where to hard not too comfortable
Nice, new rooms with good facilities and parking at the hotel. Beautiful city of Montepulciano on only 10 minutes distance from the hotel. The treatment at the reception is really very unfriendly, on going chewing her gum! Restaurants in the neighbourhood are very few or were closed. Wellness is not included. Distance to Siena is longer than on the booking site !
Nice and new, but rather small rooms. Nice outlook towards the valley reception personnel correct but rather uninterested. Breakfast room/restaurant is a big hall and does look like a factory restaurant.
Central location, parking facilities Our room had a shared balcony with the neighbouring room. When the guest from this room smoked his cigarettes outside, we got the whole smoke into our room, unless we closed the window. The surroundings of the hotel are rather run-down, the pedestrian walk-ways in poor condition.
area, view, spacious room, style the breakfast should be more varied
We like a really big bathroom and a good breakfast, helpful hotel stuff and a good location for our trips. No air-condition in room, a view from our room (the roof of a swimming pool)
The rooms were good sized, staff were very friendly and the relaxation spa was easily accessible and very well maintained. The location was pretty good, we just walked from a bus stop, but others would probably prefer a car, especially if you're travelling to other areas around Chianciano. Nothing, although dinner was expensive (25 euro each), which was a bit steep for us. Everything else was fantastic.
Good hotel, staff quite pleasant and helpful, rooms cleaned daily and well-serviced. Compared to some of the local hotels there wasn't much of an atmosphere in the hotel - e.g. bar seemed to close very early and not much going on in the evenings. OK if you require quieter accommodation
The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The breakfast is terrible, probably the worst I have ever had.
clean, neat, excellent breakfast, nice people, silent, relaxing we found our beds were without sheets so the staff upgraded us to a better room with no upcharge. No complain about it.
The Management and Staff were great, friendly, helpful and curteous.
Family lead athmosphere, very friendly and helpful personnel, nice grand hotel stylish rooms with modern equipt bathrooms, sufficient bandwith for WLAN access.
The location was very good for shopping in the Terme area. The staff were multi lingual and very helpful.
Clean and spacious rooms, very friendly personnel, good breakfast Very old fashioned decorated
very nice staff,helpfull,room clean,no complaints.
Very convenient for a stopover.
Large room, two arm-chairs, flexibility of reception personnel, help and directions. We had a very pleasant stay. No
Polite and helpful staff. Very clean and generally no complaints. May be food can be improved a little, breakfast in particular. Bread rolls were usually quite hard and no toaster was provided. This is only a minor point though.
Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Menu a little limited, but very good food none the less.
The hotel and restaurant is very nice, good food and decent prices. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and courteous, Lots of great ideas for seeing the region and bent over backwards to assist us. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again. We miss you John Paulo The hotel looked very nice but the rooms are plain and the beds were not that great. The staff swapped the mattress.. not that much better. Time for new beds!
Very nice room, carpetted, and bathroom with super bath/shower system. Reception staff very friendly. All was mainly fine although I did not find the dining room staff particularly friendly to be begin with.
Grat and helpful staff. Nothing to dislike! The hotel has a wonderful personality. The best! Great food!
Very friendly & helpful staff, quiet, beautiful views
Not a great deal at all.The tv didnt work, the wirless as advertised only worked in public area's and not inside the rooms. The ''double'' bed was two singles put together, I recognise this is not that unusual but in a hotel this size I was surprised. The guest noise was the worst I have ever experienced culminating in a house keeper barging into our room at 7-20am without knocking. The hotel did not have the standard do not disturb/make up my room notices to hang on the door. See above. What reveiw can I use for complaints????
The kindness of the staff The hotel is not in Siena, but in Siena province. I had to drive 70 km more because both info city and province were available and I was looking for several hotels in that region, at the end I made a mistake thinking this one was in Siena city and not in Siena province.
the location near Montepulciano, the pool-area.
The hotel organizes visits to local vineyards for just 10 euros, perfect. The pool is great. The view from the hotel also.
The bathtub had hair in it. So that wasn't good. But other than that, the rest was very clean.
Large swimming pool, reception 24/7 More a motel than an hotel. Very 1970s, old, shabby. The bathroom smelled moldy. We were woken up by the hotel extension construction work, dogs and people yelling in the corridor. You can very well hear when other people go to the bathroom due to the poor plumbing. The breakfast was awfull: stale bread and cakes, even the marmelade had a strange taste. Our view was not panoramic at all (as suggested by the name of the hotel) : our window opened on the parking... The price was very high for such a place. For the same price you can have a wonderfull B&B in Tuscany. We do not recommand it!!
Nice swimmingpool in the green, very relaxing atmosphere!
Beautiful location, large room, clean, good breakfast There was central heating operating only in the rooms, leaving all other reception, dining and sitting areas quite cold.
The price It's not a very good hotel. Dingy rooms. Wouldn't stay there again
Central location to nearby sights and towns. In quiet area with beautiful natural surroundings, views and scenery. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Generous buffet breakfast. I wish the promotional rate for which I managed to book our room will be offered also in the future.
Room:all rinnovated, very clean Swimming pool:large area could be relax
Construction in progress Hard to find
The staff did their best to help and serve me even if it was hard to understand as they don't speak English. I'd prefer that staff know English. I did not know that they close the hotel altogether on Sunday. The heating was somehow noisy.
Large, clean room with good breakfast. Limited parking
the view from the room the staf hardly spoke english
It was wonderful view at the morning when the sun rise, nature, animals ... very kind staff.
very nice staff. The place is fantastic and the rooms are very confortable.
Friendly Staff, Clean rooms in the middle of the city Centre, breakfast is for italian hotels quiet big. The kitchen of the restaurant is nothing special. A little bit the feeling of a kantina.
The staff was very helpfull, really exceptional also for Italian standards. We didn't look very well probably when booking and expected a swimmingpool. There was none - but the receptionist arranged free entry in the community swimmingpool and drove on his scooter in front of our car to the pool. Really very helpfull!
Hotel Angiolino is a simple hotel, with good location within Chianciano Terme. It's good value for our money....clean and spacious quadruple room.I like that there is a safe parking spot for guests. The breakfast is ample within European/Italian standards. There was only one person at the front desk, also acting as the "bellboy". He did not speak that much English, so it was a little challenging to communicate our needs.
Hotel staffs are very kind. The bathroom is newly renovated. It is very old building. The door is creaking. The elevator is veru small and old-fashioned,
The staff was very kind and helpful and the pool area is very good. To us it was an interesting experience to stay in this non-international hotel where all guest (except us and one more family) were italians and the staff only speak italian. Breakfast OK. 1) We bought both lunch (15Euro/pers) and dinner (15Euro/pers). I have a similar experience from a bad restaurant in a small village in Poland 1983, except that it was more food in this hotel. Their claim "with a wide choice of fine wines from the cellar" is wrong both regarding the wideness and the quality, but in the context with the food served I doubt anyone put any attention to this. 2) Even if I don't take into account the restaurant aspects this is, in my opinion, not a four star hotel.
reception area and dining rooms very nice and tastefully decorated. Bedroom also comfortable and nicely decorated. the showers in the bathroom were old and malfunctioning.
