I recommend going there if you want - a cheap bed - a quite place - to cook by yourself
I wouldn’t recommend going there if you need - a staff that’s there - a clean kitchen - a lobby that’s inside (no open walls) - a soft mattress - a place with no insects and geckos inside - vegan/vegetarian food nearby - a scooter rental Or if you’re afraid of dogs!
The location was quiet and calm. It was close to markets with fresh food and eating places with local character, i.e., delicious native dishes. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe to walk at all times. Perhaps the neighborhood dogs can be raucous at times when they see strangers but kept their distance. The locals were very friendly, even if we had some difficulty with the difference in language. We had facilities to cook our fodd from ingredients bought from the local market stalls.
Walking the streets especially the main thoroughfares was tricky since there were hardly ant sidewalks. It was not a problem for the locals, who all seemed to be riding scooters, bikes or cars. Next time, we will just hire bikes to go around.
Linda and Robert made the stay so memorable. Three cheers for the lovely people and Ja, the Thai Lady.
The guest room was nice, we had private bathroom and balcony for a cheap price. We could use the kitchen facility and washing machine for a fair price. Downstairs there’s a nice space to hang out, with couches and proper desks to work. They offer free bikes which was very handy to go around. The location is far from the city center but with the bikes this wasn’t an issue. There’s also restaurants, supermarket and cafe 10 min walking from the guest house. If you decide to stay there you have to go to the local market opened every Wednesdays (ask the owner for the location) there’s also a food court everyday there you will get the best food in Chiang Mai for 40 bahts.
The place wasn’t really clean and the internet didn’t work in the room. Apart from that, everything was good.
The property was very quiet and clean Very good for getting some rest and free bicycles Away from everything so just a place to relax The owner was such a lovely woman and helped us with anything we needed. Also a guy named Robert who was very nice Great place to chill
