The communal area downstairs is an amazing place to work from - fast wifi, tons of natural sunlight, right next to the canal.

It is very much a mom’n’pop hotel, three stories tall, no elevator, next to the north gate market and plenty of shops. All this said, it’s not always the cleanest, there’s dust in those harder to reach spots.

The hotel is right in the middle of everything with places to eat nearby. It is about a 20-30 mn walk from old town and the Saturday night market.

The staff hailed several taxis on the street to ask if they could help but no one wanted to come pick us up that early. So the owner called a friend and got us a ride. The staff gave us directions to the Saturday night market and recommended how to get there through old town.

The room was super clean, large, and the bed was *incredibly* comfortable. Waking up to views of the temple behind the hotel were a real highlight.

Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the nearby temple or the canal is highly recommended.

Some guests noted that the hotel is located on a main road, which can result in traffic noise. If you are sensitive to noise, consider requesting a room away from the main road.

The hotel's location near the old city wall and within walking distance of attractions like Wat Chiang Mun, Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Center, and the Sunday Walking Street Market makes it convenient for exploring the area.
