Cons: I had my sign on the door for do not distrupe and the manager was in my room because she say tomoatoe plants in the window. I think she could of left either a note under the door or a voice mail on the phone. I felt that I was violated of my space.
Reserved a 2 queen bed room. Another traveler ahead of our group called us and advised that they also reserved 2 queen beds but were placed in a King room. They asked about my reservation and were told we also had a King room. The problem was we had 5 travelers. We immediately called the hotel and were promised a cot for the room. We got there less than 90 minutes later and no cot. We asked for linens and blankets and were told there were none. After sitting in the lobby and debating what to do a lady showed up with blankets and sheets. Not sure why they lied at first about no linens, maybe just too lazy to go get them. I had to sleep 3 across in a King bed with my 83 yr old mother in law. We had another in a chair and one on the floor. A sign in the room states 'if any part of your stay is not satisfactory we promise to make it right or you won't pay for that part of your stay'. WE WERE TOLD THAT SINCE WE BOOKED THROUGH PRICELINE THAT GUARANTEE DOESN'T APPLY! Funny, the sign in the room states nothing about them NOT HONORING THEIR OWN GUARANTEE unless you book directly through Holiday Inn. After 2-3 hours on the phone with several layers of mgt, we were offered $25. Taxes alone were $18 so not much of a discount. So much for 'not paying for that part' that was not satisfactory. We have stayed in this hotel 8-10 times before this disaster. Needless to say, we won't be going back. There is a Best Western next door that will be getting my business. Nice 'guarantee' Holiday Inn. I somehow don't feel so smart for choosing Holiday Inn Express.
Pros: We have stayed here numerous times for days at a time while visiting our son and his family each year. It's clean, comfortable and safe. Good location.
Pros: Although this is an older hotel, it is very well kept. This was our second stay here. The first was a year ago for the same annual conference we just attended. The rooms were just as nice as then and the exterior appeared to have been freshly painted.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Good for an overnight trip price.
Cons: could use a coffee pot in the room.
Pros: It was clean and the people friendly. It was overall, very nice. Price was right.
Cons: The wall heating units were very noisy but were effecient
Pros: Small motel at the right price! Great place to get some sleep on the way to or from the beach! It was perfect for us! Probably gonna stay again soon.
Cons: I found the Scottish Inn adequate!!
Pros: Remodeling and a nice place for the money.
Pros: Good value for the price.
Pros: Was very pleased with the cleanliness. A little dated but very clean. Will stop here to stay everytime.
Pros: the room was clean
Cons: neither one of our rooms had towels in them when we got there. when the people we went with called the front desk they told them to go to the laundry room and get them their self. people living at the hotel also asked us for items when we came out.
Pros: The room was neat and clean. The grounds were well maintained.
Cons: No issues.
Pros: The hotel was nothing fancy but for the price was perfect for our needs.
Cons: I did smell curry when I walked in the lobby, but it didn't bother us after awhile.
Cons: The room had a strange smell upon entering & the toilet ran the whole nite. I was entirely to tires from driving from Michiganow to be bothered with waiting on maintenance.
Pros: The service was nice and polite.
Cons: The room smelled like mold. Terrible smell in the room. The rooms next to mine were flagged as Under Renovation. Probably had water issues in the past.
This place definitely needs to call an exterminator. I have never been to such a roach-infested hotel in my life and I have stayed at some crummy hotels before. If they get rid of all of the roaches, then it will be a good experience.
Pros: The hotel staff was very courteous and polite. The hotel was very close to the highway and not hard to find if using GPS.
Cons: My hotel room was roach-infested. There were baby roaches and other roaches constantly crawling in my hotel room. I killed at least 20 roaches and there were other roaches crawling. If it wasn't for the roaches, then this place would get 9 stars.
For the most part I enjoyed my stay, everything was clean and the staff was awesome, I have nothing bad to say.. I just wished the wifi had a better connection. Great location for a quick 2- 3 day stay Thank you!!
Pros: Peaceful and quiet, awesome staff Didn't try the breakfast because I was too busy
Cons: I was near the furthest part but toward the rear pool and the wifi had little to no signal
Pros: Not much to like
Cons: Air conditioner did not work, TV was small and old, bathroom was in serious need or repairs (toilet was installed crooked, tiles were old, grout was painted very badly, shower curtain rod was caulked to the walls). Parking lot was full of pot holes.
Pros: I didn't like anything about this hotel.
Cons: It was dirty, housekeeping was horrible.
Pros: The customer service rep was amazingly nice when we checked in
Cons: There was no hot water, the bed smelled horrible, and their were stains covering most surfaces.
This is hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room was dirty, smelled funny and almost inhabitable. I was scheduled for a two night stay on Friday and Saturday nights, but checked out very early on Saturday morning after spending one night. This was prompted by the roaches (2) that I killed in the bathroom. The air conditioner was so loud that I had to decide between relief from the noise and relief from the heat - I chose to be hot. There's a nightclub onsite and the noise from the club went on well into the morning. The shower area was totally gross and the washcloths were so dingy they were gray. They were so awful, I went to Wal-Mart to buy more. The tv remote would not power on/off the old-fashioned picture tube television. In order to watch tv in bed, I had to physically get up and hit the power button on the set. All-in-all it was a horrible experience. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel. I rated it a one - I only wish it were possible to rate it lower.
Pros: There was NOTHING that I liked about this hotel.
Cons: I did not like anything about this hotel.
Don't stay at this hotel.
Cons: Run down, only1 electrical outlet available.
