Pros: Staffer Ali was wonderful
I appreciate the hot breakfast
Love the quiet, spacious suites
Really really appreciate the link with the JCC
Cons: Nothing that I can think of
Pros: The 2 room suite is great. Have stayed here in the past and it's always immaculate! Nice, comfortable bed/bedding. Quiet. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Great coffee. Very accommodating staff. Always look forward to staying here when we visit family in the area.
Cons: There used to be a pond and walking trail behind the hotel with a seat/swing beside it. It was the perfect place to sit and catch your breath. Unfortunately, "progress" has taken its toll and now there is a structure being built there. A walking trail still exists, but the pond is gone. Sometimes change is not for the best.
Enjoy your visit to Talleyville with a stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton WilmingtonBrandywine Valley. For a bit of exercise, you can visit the fitness center or go for a swim in the outdoor pool. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchenettes and sofa beds, along with MP3 docks and living rooms.
Pros: Our room was large, clean and comfortable and our request to have a room away from the elevator was granted. The building was very nice and the proximity to the Philadelphia airport was perfect, about 22 minutes I believe.
Cons: The bathroom/shower area could use a little maintenance. Paint, drywall touch-up etc.

Pros: Great staff, service and breakfast buffet. Very nice room. Quiet. Perfect location for our trip stay.
Cons: Bed was a little soft for one adult male.
Pros: I did a late check in , traffic and bad weather from New York and the lady at front counter was so sweet and nice . With a big smile even at 3:30 am .
Cons: I liked everything.
Pros: The breakfast area seemed clean, the food was good except the sausages, they were questionable. The waffles maker was excellent and clean. The pillows and bed are very comfortable!
Cons: Our suite smelled horrible upon arrival. It had a strong armpit smell, horrible! We left the windows and came back hours later and the smell had not completely left. We asked for a room change and they said all the rooms were booked.
Pros: The room was big and up to date. I have two young kids who loved the indoor pool. I will go back.
Pros: Affordable, clean rooms, modern decor, great breakfast.
Cons: The pool was FREEZING! Supposed to be heated. Found two spiders in our bathroom. Ick.
Cons: Layout of the room. It was awful, just awful. Would never stay there again.

Cons: Gym could be better (but they do have a relationship w/ the nearby YMCA such that one can use their facilities).
Pros: Location, location, location. Once at the hotel, the car wasn't needed again. Coffee, Craft Beer and Calzones all within a 2 minute walk. New England charm in a vibrant college town.
Cons: The workout facilities could use an upgrade and variety could be added to the equipment. The parking situation (Parking available on site for $20 per night or a block away for $5) is not ideal but is workable.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at Hotel Warner. You can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. There's also an indoor pool, and rooms at this Art Deco hotel offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Cons: No frig, did not get the King room I reserved.
Pros: Overall, I liked my stay. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable.
Cons: The sink is too high for the average person and shaped poorly so that it pushes you away from the sink. These two design flaws make using the bathroom sink awkward for anyone shorter than 5'10".
The towels were very thin, probably old towels. I expected better from the Hampton.
Pros: The Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The breakfast on Friday was not hot and the toaster was very slow.

With a storied elegance and tradition befitting one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, the HOTEL DU PONT stands as a magnificent bridge between Wilmington, Delaware’s rich past and cosmopolitan present.
Since welcoming its first guests in 1913, the hotel has remained a Gilded Age icon, a monument to a time when artistry, grace and sophistication ruled the day and an era when travel meant something special and exciting. Then and now, arriving guests are greeted by accommodations and social areas framed by ornate, hand-carved wood, mosaic and terrazzo floors, and imported European chandeliers — all first created by the finest French and Italian craftsmen of their time and beautifully maintained for over 100 years.
Discover a destination that, despite its history and reputation, remains an undiscovered gem among regional properties in the Brandywine Valley, beloved for its lavish style, exceedingly personalized service and coveted downtown Wilmington location.
Pros: The staff was very friendly, professional and attentive. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the attendants in the breakfast area were constantly checking on me and the other guests as well as making sure that the breakfast items were fresh and replenished. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. A good overall value and about half the price per night of similar hotels in the downtown Philadelphia area...plus parking was free.
Cons: The location is in a small town...there's a Wedy's, a Wawa gas station, a pizzeria and a small plaza within a short 2 min drive. Besides that you have to jump on the highway or drive 15 to 20 min to find much else. Not a big deal for me as the price was a great value for what I got.

Pros: I loved how it felt like a B&B but had the privacy of a hotel. The decor was dated but it added to the charm for the most part. The fireplace and tub were wonderful and even had candles. The breakfast was decent for a free meal. I would stay again.
Cons: There were a few things like the soap dish & tub that had marks/chips in them but overall, the unit and building was in good shape, just dated a little. The waffle maker gave us trouble at breakfast, & no micro/coffee in the room but the fridge was useful
Pros: The sweet character, the location, the decorations.
Cons: The pillows are lumpy, and the beds need upgrading.
Pros: It was a charming place to stay. We were served a lovely breakfast. The room was very pretty and comfortable
Cons: Wish we had a coffee pot in the room. Breakfast wasn't until 8:00 so we early birds had to wait.
Pros: I loved that the hotel was in it's own quaint village with little shops that was within walking distance. We went to the restaurant Brandywine Prime where we had an excellent dinner. The room had a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Everything was great!
This is a lovely place to stay when visiting the Brandywine Valley, It is reminiscent of hotels of the past with wonderful new upgrades.
Pros: The quiet and cleanliness as well as the good mattress and pillows which made for a restful night
Cons: Nothing I can think of. Perhaps a bit more imagination could be used in planning the breakfast selections.
Pros: Staff was very accommodating. Beautiful atmosphere. Great breakfast.
Cons: It was hard to find.
We definitely stay again or recommend it to friends and family who need to stay in the area.
Pros: Hotel was friendly, with tea and cookies in the afternoon, and a good breakfast selection in the afternoon. The room was made up upon our return. We found the hotel very quiet and the location was perfect.
Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like.
Pros: We loved our room, the fireplace and Jacuzzi were delightful. The staff was wonderful. The location was great - very close to everything we wanted to do.

Cons: The hotel rooms are looking old. Repairs on ceilings and walls are poor patch jobs and very very visible.
I stay here frequently, and, they need to renovate a floor at a time to bring it back to what Hamptons are known for.

The Pennsbury Inn was built in 1714 & for history buffs, it is the place to stay. There is so much to see inside the inn itself & the extensive stroll gardens are peaceful. Note the interior architecture, wide-plank floors, old walls, narrow stairwells, multiple fireplaces in multiple public sitting areas - a step back in time. The four guest rooms keep it intimate and breakfast is very nice. The innkeepers go out of their way to make guests comfortable and to meet unexpected needs of guests.
Pros: Great location - minutes from Longwood Gardens & Kennett Square restaurants, easy drive to Chanticleer Gardens and Winterthur. Stay two nights to see all the gardens. Innkeepers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area attractions & restaurant.
Pennsbury Inn puts you within a 15-minute drive of Longwood Gardens. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking.
Pros: Got a free breakfast coupon for the buffet, which was great.
Pros: The location was convenient for our purposes, but there wasn't much to do in the area. If you went out at night there really wasn't anything open. It's the sort of area that closes down after 5 p.m. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. Overall, it was a good value for the money.
Cons: The bathroom drain was slow running, but that was the only problem with the room. The location is really better suited for business then for a leisure visit.
Cons: Scratchy sheets, drab interiors
Pros: Friendly bar staff
Cons: Had to pay for parking
Had to pay for Breakfast, even continental breakfast
Cons: Parking was not included and no breakfast. Most other hotels include these things for the price.
Pros: Staff were helpful from moment we arrived to departure. Beds were very comfortable and room (on the HHonors floor) was clean and well appointed.
Cons: Buffet breakfast could be trimmed down (omelet bar was barely used) and then included in room rate.
Parking is also $15 extra if you add it to your hotel bill. You still park your own car and then get ticket validated at front desk. OR, just hold on to your ticket, don't have it added to your bill, and pay just $11 for an overnight stay to the parking lot attendant!
Pros: room décor, tv, and internet service
Cons: paying for parking

A bar/lounge and a 24-hour fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like MP3 docks and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: Extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was very courteous.
The staff was friendly, and it was clean.
Pros: The breakfast was great! It was hot, eggs, juice, pancakes, sausage, and even biscuits and gravy! Also, I like that it lasted until 10 AM. And, they had a crib for my baby, that I really appreciated, since I left the portable one at home.
Cons: My room smelled like a dog. I know this hotel allows for pets, but it should also have a way to air out the rooms after pets have been in them. Thankfully the smell wasn't bad enough for a new room, just musty.
Beds had plenty of pillows, room was a comfortable cool temperature, not freezing cold or too hot or stuffy. I didn't hear the elevator in the morning or people walking by.
Pros: It was easy to find. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning was great as well.
Cons: Its not all to new but its still a good place to stay
Good place to stay if you are 'on the way' either north or south and have to go across the Delaware Memorial Bridge (I295) to get there. Couldn't have been cleaner, quieter, or more convenient. Definitely would stay here again. Staff was helpful with directions and generally pleasant and efficient.
Pros: friendly staff, very clean well furnished room.
Cons: The 'free' breakfast was pretty poor -- food had been out too long and was not at all hot. Biscuits were so dry they were uneatable.
Because we were in unfamiliar territory, we were a little uncomfortable leaving car far from view (a guest room or lobby). Would have liked to have felt a little safer re parking area.
Pros: Staff was very helpful for directions, recommendations, and checking in/out
Cons: They'd run out of pancakes...but apparently it had been a busy holiday weekend, so we understood. Spouse loves pancakes but got over it.

Cons: Every night my sleep was interrupted by a very loud noise coming from a backing up garbage truck that sounded like a giant alarm clock. Front desk promised but failed to move my room. They also swore that the truck won't be back on my last night of stay, yet once again I was woken up prematurely.
Cons: small rooms

Cons: I didn't like that the television in the sitting room didn't work and the coffee maker was dirty.
Pros: it was good service, the people were nice, and the bed was comfortable. I will be staying again
Cons: the water in the room took too long to get hot, and we had alittle trouble with the key card
