Clean room good bed great price
Loved the place overall, awseome staff, quaint but not to small, great location, rooms were nice. Likedthe fact that there a lot of things in walking distance. The beds are on the hard side, and in a wing of non smoking rooms there are two smoking rooms at the end of the hallway which in our case the odor spiiled out of those rooms, so if you are really smoke sensitive specificlally request a room away from the smoking rooms.
Nice people and the room was basic but clean. If you're looking for a place to sleep and a value it's a great choice.
A beautiful setting with it's mountain golf and convenient location to many great nature spots.
The staff was accommodating despite overall disasters popping up around the property and within their organization. Not a very nice room. Reminded me a of a motel 6. Spa facilities were dated and didn't have that relaxing clean spa smell. Pool was not open due to some extenuating circumstances.
location Bed was sagging in the inner part. Outer perimeter of mattress was like a small wall. Slept on it okay but was weird having a slight blockage when getting out of bed.
The front desk staff and the breakfast attendant was pleasant. One of the beds was rock hard, the other had a huge dip in the middle that made us end up sleeping on top of each other. The indoor pool was warm but smelly. The hot tub was the same temp as the pool.
Hard to say, just a decent hotel Was unable to switch to a handicap room.(forgot to do so during reservation process)
This place was bad even for just one night. The beds were uncomfortable and the water in the toilet flushed brown. Didn`t sleep a wink and could not wait to check out
The staff at the front desk were friendly and handled check-in and departure well. The room I was assigned to had an odor of excessive use of cleaning products, indicating it was probably long overdue to be stripped and redone. A broken, hazardous outlet by the bed was one item. The microwave, though it worked OK, was rusted where it sat on the small 'fridge, which had never been defrosted, the freezer crusted over with ice. The bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of hot water, but I had to be careful to avoid being scalded in the shower if you turned the control to full hot. The next morning I was awakened by loud banging and pounding on the wall behind the bed. Turns out I got a room right next to one that was being renovated, with no consideration for me as a guest being awakened by all the noise. Had I known about it, I would have demanded another room away from this area. No excuse for this treatment, the management failed to take this into account.
After driving for hours, we went into the office got our room key, got checked-in. The place was so clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee pot. The room seemed like it was just recently remodeled. We had stayed at the mountain valley inn for two nights and our stay was very enjoyable. We had the continental breakfast there. The pool felt really good in the hot weather. There was a playground there for the kids. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We would definetly go back and stay.
This was the best place for me and my family to enjoy our trip. It had everything we needed. A nice pool for me and my wife, and a playground for my kids. There were many attractions around the city. The rooms were clean, and the continental breakfast was amazing. I would recommend this motel for any family who wants to have a great time.
If you are looking for a basic room that is clean, with a fridge and microwave, this is a good value for the money. It does have external entrances to the rooms, whch could raise a securoty question for some families. There is a grocery store next to the hotel.
Excellent value for the money. The room was clean and very spacious. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive room in a great location.
I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are very clean and neat with an useful microwave and refrigerator. They have new furnitures and their pool is really clean. There is an excellent view of mountains from the rooms. The beds are certainly cozy. The staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful. They have a great picnic area for your family to enjoy. I am definitely looking forward to staying at the Mountain Valley Inn soon. It's the perfect place for me and my family to stay. And it's absolutely worth it!
I went there with my husband and as soon as we stepped in to the office, the staff was so welcoming. The view of the mountains in the back was just amazing. I would definetly recomend this hotel to all my friends and I will definetly stay there again.
This is a hidden gem. It has friendly staff and the room that I stayed in was very clean. I was impressed.
This motel is a very nice place to stay at. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean. It included everything that we needed (microwave and fridge). The beds were comfortable also. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to go back to visit.
Easy access. Located in a good place that gave me easy return to the Tallulah Gorge to hike the next morning, the purpose of my trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking right in from of room. Access to various restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. Very, very dated, with old fixtures, furniture, bathroom. Window heating unit took a while to get things warmed up, but then the temp overnight in the room was adequate. Functional for an overnight stay on the way to doing something else, but I would not want to stay more than one might here if I didn't have to.
Convenient location, easy in easy out Thin front door, poor locking hardware, dingy drapes in bathroom, No hair dryer
The room was large and very clean. Adequate lighting. The sink and vanity were separate from the shower which I prefer. It appeared to have updated furnishings. It was very quiet and off the road enough to not hear much road noise. There were several excellent restaurants close by. We had to stay in a smoking room which we knew that going in but the room was saturated in smoke smell. I had some items set aside next to our things on the dresser that were nowhere near a trash can but one of the cleaning staff threw them away while we were away from the room that day. These items had receipts in them that we needed from the trip.
Two problems. We booked a room that offered a pool, and the pool was filled in with pine straw. I was in town on business, and I brought my girlfriend who had the week off of school. She bought a bathing suit since we were looking forward to swimming. They advertised that they offered wifi, which is important for me to run my business. I got full wifi signal but there was no connection and I was not able to even pull up a web page from my room. Without wifi and a pool, this was not a good value for the money since I payed almost $200 for the room for two days.
