Pros: Everything! Wonderful view of the Cork farmlands, warm, charming hosts, great accommodation and delicious food. The host also drove us into town & back to save us the 2 mile bike ride. Best stay of our entire bike trip around SW Ireland!
Cons: Nothing! The host even had the roosters taken to the other side of the farm so we could sleep a little late in the morning!!
When visiting Kilbrittain, Seafield Farmhouse is a great choice to consider. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails and scuba diving, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily.
located right in downtown Clonakitly, quick walk to anywhere. Traditional irish town, very charming. Great music a couple of blocks away at An Teach Beag (means 'the little house', pronounced 'chuck bee-ug', go figure!) withlocal musicians coming in every night to jam traditional irish music. Truly felt like a local!
Pros: lovely staff, small enough hotel that they recognize you whenever they saw you, would do anything they could for you. Restaurant on site was perfect - higher end casual dining, the food was terrific. Beds are new and very comfortable.
Cons: no air conditioning - so on a very hot night (which doesn't happen often), it might be uncomfortable. Furniture looking a bit tired(aside from beds which are new and comfy)
