The extremely pleasant and multilingual staff worked tirelessly to ensure our stay a positive experience. Our room was spotlessly clean each day, the size and condition of the room surprisingly good, and the large balconies overlooking the Mediterranean were incredible. Due to availability at the end of the season, they upgraded us to the mini-suite at no charge. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. nothing.
Great views from the rooms and parking is worth its weight in gold in this area, being in between the "main" hubs in the area Positano and Amalfi was a bit more relaxed and well positioned to visit either.
The staff was helpful and friendly, location excellent, only 5 minutes from the free beach (approximately 150 steps). Our room had sea view (it was a superior room) which was beautiful, very much worth the price we paid. Breakfast was excellent, not just sweet things, but fresh vegetables and fruits, and bread.
View Location a bit far from activity
The view from our room was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed sitting on our own terrace and watching the boats as well as the Amalfi Coast. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. No, we thought it was a very good value for the money.
Loved the room and the location, tho a bit out of the way, i liked that about it. Had own private beach so didn't have to go to public beach which was always way crowded. Loved the terraces and the views. A lovely place and recommend to all. Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room due to it being out of the way. It would have helped to have some snacks since the hotel did not have full time restuarant.
The free parking was very nice since it is difficult to park in the area. The local bus was easy to use to visit nearby towns. The hotel was very quiet at night and the rooms spotless. The views from the rooms were spectacular.I definitely would go back. The only down side was the hotel didn't have a restaurant for dinner. But the hotel staff was very helpful in suggesting local restaurants. They even came to pick us up and brought us back to the hotel after dinner free of charge.
Cleanliness No Wi Fi Internet access
relaxe and look around in the area No
The staaf was very kind' The rooms are big and comfortable, The view marvelousץ
One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Fantastic service, great food, wonderful cocktails ...There is a nice pool amd good access to the sea.
The Staff was the best. The rooms were large and airy. The view from the rooms was fabulous. The welcome letter in advance of our arrival was unique. The hotel is well appointed Only that some of the furniture in the room needs updating
The scenery, staff and uniqueness of the hotel were the highlights.
The views, the pool and location
The hotel staff was extremely courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to help, and to go above and beyond expectations. The hotel itself is lovely, offering breathtaking scenery, an excellent pool and fine food. If you're looking for shopping or entertainment hub, this is not the hotel for you. It is within reach of shopping and entertainment, but the hotel itself if a quiet haven for rest and relaxation.
the location is fantastic as were the facilities. The hotel has (via lift) access to an own pool as well as to the sea (after 80 more steps on a stair). The breakfast was particularly good is it was nicely served on an open terrace high above the Mediterranean with wonderful views to Amalfi and as far as Salerno. The dinner was somewhat slow as the maitre d' took great pains to explain and discuss the selection options at each and every table, holding up the rest of the room waiting for their turn to come
The hotel was in a stunning location with beautiful views, the pool was lovely and a decent size, our rooms looked out over the sea and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - prepared to go the extra mile. Quality of the rooms we stayed and the layout/location of pool and supporting staff service were all excellent. Quality of dinners was excellent. Breakfast might offer a little more variety around just rolls and croissants.
The staff, the view, good pool, good public transport The access to the sea remote, quiet, would not suit younger customers, poor choice of TV channels, plumbing could be improved
We stayed at the Belvedere for eleven days and everyone of them was an absloute delight. All of the staff members were friendly, courteous, helpful and professional in all of their interactions with us. The hotel was an excellent balance of style and relaxation - we always felt peaceful and valued as a visitor. Our room was excellent, with superb views, the food was extremely good (Fabulous service and different menues every night) and the swimming pool and terrace were beautiful. (The friendly guys, numersous sunbeds and fresh towels added to the experience).
The view was amazing - but this was after we paid an up charge to get a view with a balcony. The Sea View that was booked originally - you had to really stand on something to see it.
the building itself is gorgeous and so is the view!
the staff, the bed, the view and the location for the cost the room was to small, no room to put your luggage or sit comfortable.
Perfect view, perfect staff, perfect beach, perfect breakfast.
The hotel was spacious and restful. There were many guests staying but it was never at all crowded. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is beautifully located and the flowers and plants are a major contribution to peace and enjoyment. Delicious, unhurried breakfasts on the terrace overlooking Amalfi town were memorable. We thought that the all white decor with little furniture and no colour was severe.
Absolutely everything! Staff were fantastic, food in the restaurant amazing. Buffet breakfast fantastic, especially sitting out on the terrace overlooking the spectacular view. They went above and beyond our expectations, highly recommend staying here!
The views, especially from terrace. Great location! Fountain in front was not working, but everything else was beautiful.
Loved the location and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We will return. The hotel has its own beach but guests have to pay 25 euros to get a chair and umbrella. Seemed a little cheap to charge guests for beach access.
Beautiful hotel in a breathtaking setting. Fulfilled my bucket list item of staying in a castle as this was built to replicate a fortress. Staff was friendly and service was great. Staying at a hotel with a private beach is worth it in Amalfi! Lots of ants- but expected at a beach hotel
good beach , good service , location near Amalfi , good shatale , good food air condiation , and slow / small elevaetors
Everything was so perfect!!!! We would visit again!! No, everything was so well organized!!
The hotel staff, especially the reception staff were very helpful and expalined the whole layout etc of the hotel on arrival. To get a full picture of the hotel you have to view this from the sea which is breathtaking Location is isolated & the nearest main centre was a cab drive away. Courtesy buses were provided but times to & from hotel were limlited to early morings or early evening. The resturant staff & breakfast staff were not very helpful or freindly. In the evening we took a meal at the resturant. Once seated I noticed a smashed glass under the table, but the staff just shrugged their shoulders.
Everything, especially the view.
The hotel has a great location, and the free parking is a plus in this area. that is about it!!! They even charge your to use the internet, what first class, or like you rate it 5 star charges a guest to use the internet in 2010. You rated this hotel 5 stars, it is not!!! Maybe the location, but not facilities or amenities of a 5 star hotel. It does not even have a real blow dryer. you cannot use any electrical converters in the bathroom, and there are no mirrors in the bedroom. It has a small tv, real old, from a museum, the safe has a key, old fashion key, not electronic like a real safe, and it is inside the refrigerator, which means, every time you want to use the safe, you have to open the small refrigerator, which does not work when you leave the room, since you need to insert a key for the electricity to work inside the room. no robes, slippers, plastic cups... no proper hangers for your clothes. I would not recommend this hotel. Maybe as a 2 or 3 star
different Radio doesnt work in the room. NZ$500 per night should be 5 star but not. All Italian TV. Only BBC in english. Sky do have english programs. Small 15 inch TV 50 ft away from viewing??NO Tea or Coffe/milk/ electric jug facilities like in 99% of hotels/motles in NZ. Not value for money. No service. Only if you ask for it. At the pool/ would you like another or food or is everything o'k. Only stay for one night just for the look.
Great accomidations. I was looking for comfort and a great view after touring Italy for two weeks. A place to relax. I found through research most hotels offer one or the other not both. Saraceno offered great views from the rooms up on the hill as well as great beach location. Food was good, bar open late till 12 midnight. If your looking for peach and quite this is the place. The cabs are expensive in Amalfi. Look into hotel shuttle. It is accomidating to use.
overvew room. not comfortable hotel
the hotel is beautiful, staff and service outstanding
the castle looks so dramatic, particulary looking back up from the beach. I didnt expect the lovely gardens and pots of flowers on the balconies which really added to it. it was over our budget so we only stayed 1 night in partial seaview, but laying in bed I could see the ocean, and the stars. I would reccomend it even if its a bit out of your price range just stay one day its worth it!
The whole environment was relaxing. Nothing we didn't like but I would say its not the best location if you don't have a car and want a stroll in the evening.
A beautiful scenary and seaview. Very quiet, and suitable for people who are happy with the hotel's facilities and not much else. Most importantly: the hotel is deserted. It's very difficult to get to other places, as nothing is nearby (except for the Grotta Smeraldo). Buses are often late, and taxis are incredibly expensive. The hotel is vey quiet after dinner, so don't expect charming bars or nightlife. Some rooms might have big trees blocking the seaview. Swimming facilities are poor, with one ladder, no beach and sometimes strong currents and high waves.
Location, location, location
The room, view, and staff were wonderful. Everyhing was a total tourist trap. The food was terrible and overpriced. I am a chef and this was like a bad diner experience with inflated prices. No taste. Just food thrown together. I paid 80 euro for a small load of laundry. Internet was not available until 2 days after arrival. No staff were available at night. Whoever owns this hotel is arrogant. A view does not a hotel make.
A relaxing visit to the Amalfi coast. The views from the hotel are lovely. Situated well for visiting the coast and Pompei. Breakfast and Dinner were a joy overlooking the coast. Nothing
The hotel staff is amazing: humorous and helpful. The 'conca' (a cove) fences off from other swimming places letting one enjoy a big chunk of the see almost on his own. The hotel is located in the countryside, whic is better as it is quiter and less crowded. The bedsheets were changed once in several days which was quite stange for **** hotel.
breath taking scenery, rooms with panoramic views extremely helpfull staff great wine cellar great menu .... wow
Location was good- half way between Amalfi and Positano, though since we were not in one of those towns, we had to use the busses more. Lovely patio dining area. Great views. Access down to the water. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Showering was difficult because the fixture wasn't properly installed. Many tour groups were dropped off outside in the mornings to shop in the ceramics store. Seemed to make it difficult to catch the bus.
The views were stunning and the hotel was located in a lovely tranquil spot 2km from Amalfi. The food was fresh and very tasty. The rooms were well decorated and spacious if a little tired. However, We first noticed a really loud noise that sounded 10 times louder than a hand dryer come from underneath the bathtub. This roaring sound came suddenly approximately every 2 hours and lasted 3 minutes. We called reception to report this noise twice but no action, We forgot about it and had a nice dinner and wine. The loud noise woke us up all through the night and we were exhausted the next day. Receptionist told that it was our fault for not escalating it despite us calling them twice the previous day. The Owner later compensated us with dinner, but being blamed by receptionist ruined our stay
Very helpful staff, extremely clean room, in a beautiful spot on the coast. The private swimming area does not have a beach, just a patio by the sea- it is lovely, but we were unclear from the website description.
We loved our private terrace with views of the village of Positano and the ocean. We liked being in the middle if the bustle of daily life. Our short walk to the town center and beach was appreciated. Enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace. Staff at Savoia were very friendly and helpful. Small shower stall.
It was an excellent location, and we loved the view overlooking the town and the street action below. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was just fine.
Very clean, nice and comfortable room and staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast at this hotel and service great. Great central location in Positano, near to city bus and coastal buses. Good value for the money. No.
The staff were very helpful. The hotel was ideally located close to the beach.
Rooms were lovely and the staff were attentive and efficient. A bit pricey, especially drinks.
The attentive staff, location and facilities. N/A
We loved the fantastic ocean view. It was no luxury hotel by any means but nice & comfortable.
The views are some of the best we have ever seen from a hotel balcony anywhere in the world. The location is stunning
Hotel staff is very friendly and polite. We can see seaview from room.
Fantastic location, having superb views over Amalfi and its harbour. Good sunbathing facilities and access to swimming in its sea water pool or the sea. Good views from bedrooms as well as public rooms. Good variety in its restaurant. The staff were extaordinarily helpful and professional The standard rooms only have small balconies, some of which are enclosed. Neither your site or that of the hotel indicate this difference between standard and superior rooms.
There was a pool and access to the sea. Location. Timings of mini-bus shuttle service into town were not useful.eg.drop off for lunch but no pick up later.
The view from our room and all over the hotel was incredible. We loved being very close to Amalfi (10 min walk) but not directly in town. The staff was very nice and attentive and knowledgeable. The pool decks built into the cliff were an amazing place to hang out for the day. The bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world but it was fine and made up for by the rest of the hotel
great location, views, pool / ocean area. parking a huge plus. restaurant well run. i would definetly stay here again.
The location was amazing. Every view from every angle was beautiful. The dinning room staff was also great. The hotel staff (outside of the dinning room) couldn't have been less helpful or less knowledgeable. They could have also used a 24 hour menu.
View, large rooms, great service The mildew on the walls and in bathroom
The location was exceptional. I loved being on the edge of the cliff. The ability to go down to the pool and/or swim in the Mediterranean sea was so exciting. We had probably the nicest room, end with the largest balcony it was perfect. We had rented a car and the signage from either direction was the best. The entrance (at the road level ) was unimpressive. But I don't think you can change that because the whole excitement of the hotel is the location on the cliffside. The distance into the main part of town was easily walkable and fun, although there was a shuttle service we didn't use it. Getting to the town of Almafi is not ideal if you need to use the ferry or bus (especially if its not high season). We had to take a taxi ride to Salerno for 100 euros in time to catch the train to Rome to make it to the airport in time. However we had time to take the ferry from Salerno to Almafi for 6 Euros each for 35 minutes, which was ideal and fun. (no worries about driving the coastline road.
The staff and service was nice. I liked the pool alot. The price for any hotel in Europe is very expensive for what you receive in the USA. I was surprised they did not have any pugs to convert US powered electronics to Italian (all other hotels we stayed at did). The walk from the hotel to Amalfi proper although not that far could be harzardous due to limited side walks on the windy street plus walk through the traffic tunnel. Needs shuttle servic
It was a beautiful hotel tucked away in the cliffs of Positano. The views were magnificant I didn't like that we had to leave! :)
Hotel Staff excellent except the pool attendant he had an attitude problem.Food and service excellent. The beds very uncomfortable
Location and View, restaurant
Excellent customer service.
Friendleness of the staff of shuttle bus service the shuttle bus times could have been a bit more frequent
One of the best hotels we have stayed in and our holiday was an absolute pleasure Nothing
Loved the location and the view of the beach No
OUr view from the balcony was amazing!! The pool staff was not very friendly. All the other staff were superb.
The location offers stunning views of Positano. The hotel staff were very welcoming and efficient and the room, although slightly dated, was very comfortable and quiet at night. We used a car which was collected and dropped off at the hotel for us whenever we needed it. We didn't eat an evening meal in the hotel but the breakfasts were delicious! All in all a very relaxing stay. make sure you don't get a room next to the lift!
The view, the pool and the friendly staff
The view and vistas were great The comfort of the bed was awful. We stayed in room 152 and the bed was hard and sagged in the middle. It is hard to understand how a hotel as eloquent and upscale as this has beds that should be in a hotel for half the price. Upgrade your beds.
Fine kinds from number, restaurant and a terrace both very attentive and benevolent personnel No
Fabulously located right on the cliff overlooking the Amalfi coastline yet far enough removed from the crowds to feel as if it your very own piece of heaven. Staff were very friendly, especially the barman and the restaurant staff. The terrace overlooking the bay was the perfect place for sundowners! Particularly liked being able to swim off their beach and sunbathing platform. We had excellent meals here, the pasta with seafood baked in foil was the best ever! Food was not overly expensive as some other reviewers had mentioned. Lifts that transported you down through the rock from the hotel to the beach below have to be experienced! I felt very safe even though I really don't like heights as the lifts were modern and enclosed. A minor gripe, because the place and the people were so lovely.....Soft mattress toppers and soft pillows would go a long way towards a more comfortable sleep! Our room had a balcony from where we could hear the sea on the rocks below as we drifted off. A softer bed would have been bliss!
A beautiful location, conveniently situated between Amalfi and Positano with a service-minded staff. Good restaurant and nice public spaces. Not suitable for wheelchair access.
It was one of the most interesting hotel set ups I have had. The hotel was built into a cliff so there was beautiful views throughout. The staff could have had more "life"
Location of the hotel is wonderful. It is like a dream. The only problem is the mosquitoes or small bugs that bite. Hotel management should leave some repellent in the room before any client request.
The location and views are outstanding Food in restaurant is mediocre. The "King SIze" bed in the junior suite is, in fact, two single beds moved together - not the same thing at all.
Everything - we visited the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary & were not disappointed. The scenery & location was perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay ; the local food & wine were excellent. The best endorsement for the hotel is to say that we intend to return next year ; am looking forward to it already. Nothing ; however beware if you do not like climbing stairs as there are quite a few throughout the hotel.
great location, wonderful views of sunsets
Staff helpful, room clean, good location in minori. Had to pay 20 euros per day to park the car. Wouldn't go half board next time as dinner was nothing special.
The ambiance and decor are delightful - this place has a lot of character, and it's location is onvenient for Minori (though the attractions of this small village are limited mainly to its location). Parking is very difficult and the hotel's parking garage is very expensive and rather inconvenient to use. Our room was charming but extremely small and not very well laid-out. The toilet facilities were rather inconvenient. Under the circumstances, I think it represents rather limited value for money;
The couple that owns the hotel were very nice; additionally, they drove us to the bus stop and picked us up each day as it is a very far walk. The suite we had was very nice and a good value. Great views. The hotel is located on a hill with very limited bus service. The jacuzzi on the solarium does not have a heater.
friendly helpfull staff
I stayed in one of superior double rooms. It was spacious and had beautiful view and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was fair, and I liked cappucino.
excellent location and facilities. quiet, comfortable, spacious and convenient. Helpful staff no complaints at all
Location was great - the breakfast area overlooked Amalfi beach and the hotel was so close to the bus and ferry terminals. The room was spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly.
Convenience to public transportation in a town full of steps. Lovely breakfast room with view and helpful in suggesting smaller, less touristy restaurants. Although on a busy street facing the harbor, my room was quiet at night, which was a bonus. I would go back.
The location was excellent. Seaside and right in town for conveniences. Traveling with my 85 year old mother and she uses a wheelchair. This hotel was very accommodating for her. Nothing
Helpful staff Very basic accomodation for the cost
This Hotel was really beautiful : nice furnitures, typiacally italian. The terrasse for the breafast was great with the view on Amalfi and the sea
Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great location. Even though the hotel faces a busy street, when you close the french doors and shutters, it is very quiet.
It is close to the beach and in the middle of town. The room had sea view, and the price was reasonable. New doors to the balcony kept the sun and noise outside, the room was totally dark at night so we slept very well. Breakfast at a beautiful terrace.
The views were amazing, the rooms were spacious and the pool area made the holiday, being able to jump right into the sea from the platform was great. Was very expensive for the area, we checked out other places and felt like they would have been better value for the money.
Beautiful location, lovely old fashioned luxury hotel with amazing views. Great staff, large room and big bathroom. Very much worth the money.
everything. beautiful, great staff, wonderful food, and those views! no
The staff was incredible No complaints
thismust be one of the best hotels italy... an experience!
Wonderful Hotel Santa Catarina! We stayed 5 years ago on our honeymoon and this time it was just as wonderful Fantastic staff, fabulous views - pure luxury. Just one complaint the drinks were horrendously expensive!
Hotel practically built-in to the rock, has several splendid terraces over viewing gorgeous Amalfi coast. Booking of sea view room is highly recommended. Good and various breakfast, friendly staff, very convenient deep water swimming area. Nothing to complain.
The location The staff is not very helpful, some times slightly arrogant
The staff were outstanding, helpful and very pleasant. They made our stay most pleasurable. Our view was a little crowded out by a large terrace interfering with our vista.
Impeccable service. courteous, professional and helpful staff; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views and you can park in front!! Noisy and uneven heating (I suppose it works better as air conditioning)
Receptionist was very very helpful and nice. Sorted out taxi's and gave very good information. Room cleaned every day and hotel was well kept. All staff welcoming Pool was salt water (maybe to be expected being right by the sea) and this was not state. Also not heated so was a little bit cold on some days.
Great Staff, lovely hotel, brilliant position, good food, nice pool. Nothing not to like about it! Can get a bit noisy if facing the main street.
The Breakfast The room was very small, poorly decorated, nothing like what was advertised on the site. There is a charge to use the beach which is tiny and parking was very exepensive. It is not a 4* hotel rating at all
The Reginna Palace Hotel was the most perfect place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is situated in a very convenient location if arriving by bus from Salerno or from the towns to the west. We had booked a regular room and because the tourist season was still a week or so away they had put us in the most incredible room on the 5th floor (top)with a huge terrace looking out over the coast and sea. We truly were not expecting the old world charm and elegance the hotel and its staff had to offer and we wished we could have stayed longer than one week. The front desk staff were more than accommodating to assist in any questions or travel bookings and were full of helpful information. Daily breakfast on the poolside terrace was a highlight every morning and we looked forward to having that wonderful Italian coffee amidst the smell of jasmine and other flowers. The dining room staff made us feel first class. The hotel in itself is beautiful with peaceful gardens full of flowers and trellises cascading with wisteria and lemons. It is across the street from a wonderful beach and seawall promenade and shopping, dining and sightseeing are just steps out the door. Maiori is probably our favorite town on the Amalfi coast and our stay at the Reginna Palace Hotel confirmed a return visit.
the friendly Italian staff, sea views over the Amalfi coast where do l start ? there was no hot water every day, the only way to get it was to run the taps for 30minutes ...... on the day of the wedding (reason for being there) we had no water at all, the wife couldnt shower before and to make matters worse we had no water when we got back to wash our 11month old baby. Reception eventually told us they couldnt promise water to the 5th floor and had no other rooms !!!!! Friends of ours on the same floor paid the same for their room but had a much better room, they also demanded a bill reduction for the same water problem and got one, we didnt demand anything and got no reduction just a bottle of champagne. The pool and spa was very cold, unusable so. There hotel is a poor attempt at a 4 star.
It's location, especially the close proximity to the beach and a great hotel pool. The pool is a good size and deep with high and low diving boards. Beautiful tropical garden around trhe pool too. One staff member at front desk is truly excellent - most of the others are not multilingual and unhelpful. The view of the bay is fantastic. Hidden charges for beach use. Costly additional (but advertised) charges for parking. Scratch damage to vehilce while parked in hotel care. Very outdated decor in hotel. High cover charge for in-hotel dining. Advertised sound proofing is non existent and the surrounding area is very noisey.
Everything, from the moment we arrived, they look after you but do not fuss you or bombard you with information. It is so relaxing, and it is in the very best position in maoiri, especially for the view from the front rooms.
The staff were so accomodating especially the receptionist Anna. The rest of the staff were so friendly even the maid was so helpful. The hotel staff made our stay so enjoyable the views were amazing and the breakfast was excellent.
Room size, cleanliness and breakfast in garden Not much English at reception, breakfast quite basic
this hotel is one of the very best in the amalfi coast region, i did a lot of research and booking.com was brilliant at getting me a room there as at first I was having trouble booking it myself. In fact booking.com was a little cheaper so dont even bother going direct. yes some of the reviews on the booking.com site I think were a little unfair. It is excellent value for money in my opinon.
Nice view of the ocean and Amalfi coast. It was a bit difficult to find the location by car. continental breakfast was only average.
location was good, sea wiev balconies perfect. breakfast was poor, old fashion rooms but clean.Don't go there in November because all restaurants closed.
The location was fantastic and the room was large. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful. The breakfast buffet had the same things every day. Some variety would be nice.
This is a very nice 3 star hotel, situated in a 5 star location! You couldn't ask for a more beautiful place. Only one gripe! The breakfast, although a variety was offered, it never differed in the week we stayed. I can get very bored of ham & cheese, cerals and bread rolls.
Excellent location in Amalfi - close to amenities, restaurants, boats and buses. Staff particularly helpful. A comfortable hotel. We would definitely go back and met a number of 'returners' which speaks volumes! Breakfasts could have been more exciting, but were ample. One suggestion - useful to have chairs on the balconies of rooms?
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the view from the hotel over the marina was soothing and the town center was a 5 min walk along the prominade.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Advice regarding day trips etc. was freely given and time was taken to help with our queries. The night staff were excellent and a credit to the hotel. While the hotel was clean and I do appreciate that it is in an expensive area, it is relatively old fashioned and overall the value for money was not very good. In recessionary times I feeel that there is a need for all hotels to look at these matters and reduce prices. The Amalfi coast hotels are not immune to this fact.
Very cental. Easy access to boats for tours.
The ambience of the hotel is really homely and unique. The bed was more comfortable than bed at home. The view from terrace at Breakfast (which was hearty) was awesome. The free internet was appreciated. No complaints, everything was great. Maybe just provide a more detailed map to guests.
close proximity to the centre of town and bus terminus. View from our balcony and window over the small harbour. Menu changed every night. No
Service from the staff, pleasant, cheerful and very helpful
Location provided a convenient walk to the town center. Staff was very helpful! Rooms were clean and spacious, but nothing special other than the view. Wifi service was unreliable
We absolutely loved the view...it was wonderful to have when you wake of a morning! A man at Reception was not pleasant upon arrival (he was not wearing a name badge) and it did not make us feel welcome which was unfortunate being our honeymoon. As a travel agent I was quite disappointed.
The location was nice. Good view from the balcony. The concierge was unfriendly. The concierge seemed upset since we did not use their driver for our travels in Positano. The bathroom toilet and sink were so close you could not sit straight on the toilet. The remote control for the TV only controlled the cable box and not the TV. The rooms were not cleaned very well each day. They never replenished our rooms with clean glasses or removed the used glasses and the floor was not cleaned daily.
The view from our balcony! The beds were uncomfortable, but would still go back there again!
hotel staff and location
great little hotel charming, clean little hotel in an Art filled environment. Centrally located, and helpful staff. Wonderful time there. We will be back.
Positano and the Positea Hotel are hidden gems along the Italian Coast. What a lovely place to spend a few romantic days & evenings taking in the sights, the people of the food of this lovely fishing village upon the rocky coast of Italy. Twin beds pushed together was a little bit of a turn-off, but they were comfortable and we made do.
Staff was helpful and kind, especially for Italians. Arranged car to transfer us to/from Naples train station. Location was a little high up in the town. It made the trek to/from city center and the beach quite long and arduous. Still, easier to access than other hotels.
Rooms were as they were depicted; clean and fresh. Staff were very helpful in recommending excellent restaurants and taxi service made the evenings out so enjoyable as we could both enjoy wine with our meals. In room Internet was not working which meant we had to go to the lobby for access. This was a disappointment.
Loved the hotel & especially enjoyed the private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean. Hard to find such a good breakfast in Italy. Bus stop located in front of the hotel.
The staff recommended several great restaurants, and also helped set up driver to take us to Pompei. The scenery was magnificent.
