The hotel is in a very central place, it is clean enough and it has friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast. Hotel rooms are a bit aged, but nothing too bad. From the sustainability perspective, it's nice that rooms are cleaned only when explicitly asked and when the guests change.
Beliggenheten er super! Kort vei til alt! Vårt rom var stort og hadde balkong som ikke kunne brukes til å sitte på. Badet var stort og fint, men med den minste vasken jeg noen gang har sett i noe hotell. Scandic Palace er gammelt og fremår som slitt. Resepsjonen er grå , slitt og trist . Teppet i etasjene ser udelikat ut Oppsettet til frokosten er rotete og frokostrommet har en forferdelig akustikk. For denne prisen tror jeg ikke jeg vil komme tilbake. Dere må kunne bedre enn dette, Scandic!
Everything was pretty good, nothing fancy, everything as expected. The most impressive point was the aggressive sustainability measures, they do not clean rooms if not asked explicitly and do not use plastic bags for trash, I encourage such initiatives and I think it was a bold decision.
