10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great property, common rooms for the three bedrooms nicely furnished (as were the two bedrooms we saw), full kitchen with supplies for nearly any breakfast desired. Property extends to Copper River; views of Wrangell Mtns from the common rooms and porch. Quinn very knowledgable about the region and eager to share some fun spots to visit.
Cons: Really not much. Those expecting somebody to cook them breakfast might be disappointed. With three separate bedrooms attached to a common area, suppose it is possible to end up sharing space with some obnoxious guest (we didn't see the other guest in our visit).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quinn made us feel at home. Kitchen stocked with breakfast staples. B&B consists of a couple properties. We had the master suite in the 3 bedroom home. Very comfortable. Resident fox made an appearance. Easy walk to the river.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: quiet neighborhood. The host Quin is really nice and helpful. Give us all the information and recommended dinner place. She has everything ready for our breakfast. She also gave us her home made salmon roes to try. It taste great! We had some time to chat with Quin to get to know how they live in Alaska especially in the winter. This makes our stay more meaningful. As we are interested in local food, she also gave us her home made smoked salmon to try. The house has another couple and share the living room area. Good place to meet other travelers. Our room has the Drum Mountain view with our own full bathroom. We also visited their salmon wheel where they catch salmon from the river for their own use. Wonderful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very fortunate to find such a beautiful log home with wonderful hosts to spend part of our Alaskan vacation. Beds were very clean and comfy and we had great high speed wi-fi. While driving the rental vehicle I noticed the tire pressure light was on. Stopped at Midas 10lbs of air was added and was assured there was no leak. Upon arriving after telling what happened Gary checked it again, 8lbs low. He went out of his way to find leak and actually fixed the tire too. This could have wrecked our vacation since we were in the very rural area near Wrangell St. Elias National Park. It is one of the special moments when someone helps and wants nothing in return. Matthew and I would like to thank you both for the wonderful kindness and hospitality you showed to us during our wonderful vacation to beautiful Alaska!

Pros: Beautiful log home, exceptionally clean and meticulously maintained. Our hosts were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Greg and his wife are excellent hosts. We were preasantly surprised by the beautiful house they have. Everything was perfectly organized for our stay. My wife and I enjoyed the conversations with the hosts as they shared with us helpful information about the area. We wish our stay was longer....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was beautiful. Host was really sweet and even made sure to call us when we were not there at the expected time. Even called us the next day after we left. Breakfast items were good. It was a wonderful experience.
Cons: Really the only improvement would be adding a railing to the outside stairs for guests staying on the main level.

Pros: Kate was amazing! She prepared an absolutely spectacular breakfast for me and made sure I was comfortable with my stay.

Pros: I liked everything about this place! Great bedroom, absolutely outa sight breakfast, and then there's Kate. Kate is one of those fantastic people you meet only once in a long while, she went out of her way to make us feel even more comfortable than we would have been in our own home. Kate took the time to explain the rich history of Copper Center to us, what an incredible place. This B&B made our trip to Alaska more than memorable, can't wait to stop in again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Very nice and friendly host - The decor of the house is very interesting - The breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: It is just a note: The rooms are rather small (which is OK if you know), so are the beds. Was looking for a 2 person room and yep, it is doable but you have to share the space. But would come here again!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a unique place and wonderful area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is a simple, no -frills, authentic, old fashioned Alaskan motel - small immaculate rooms with great beds and clean bathrooms. The owner is a friendly, published Alaskan historian who runs a terrific bar on the premises with a model mining town, model trains, and wonderful photos of pioneer Alaska. This is a great spot to have a beer with people who live in Copper Center. Location is spectacular - a few feet to the river and breathtaking views of the mountains. People come here in the summer to fish or hike and revel in the incredible scenery and salmon stocked river. Please don't be put off by the simple exterior. It's not the Peninsula Hotel but a unique, fun, and inspiring Alaskan experience.
5.0 Okay
Pros: good-to-great location at Cooper Center
Cons: Beware! It is not a 1-2-star inn! It is between a camp (not even a cabin!) at the cheaper price and a 0.5-star motel at well overpriced rate. A weird modification of an old cabin to add water, shower and toilet. It is a tiny cabin with a truck stop-like toilet and shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean, plenty of towels, easy parking.
Cons: Everything was fine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality was great Richard was a very knowledgeable and a great host

Cons: Liked it all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay just to spend the night and go to McCarthy! Good and cheap!
5.1 Okay
Pros: Would be cute, and was clean, except for the issues
Cons: No phone to call any desk clerk, wasn't sure where he went, when we had a problem with fuel oil smell from burner other side of the wall. Owner needs to inform visitors how to contact him after hours with important issues or concerns. Fuel oil smell was very bad in room 3. wasn't sure it was safe, no one to call, had to sleep with it. Needs a ventilator in oil burner room baaaad, and how to contact owner after hours.
