The room was quite confortable and large. The furniture is classic but sometimes is nice to stay in this kind of hotel. The garage is a good option because there are no parking around. Zamora is not the most enthusiastic of cities and there street works around the hotel although we didn't notice the noise in the room.
Good location close to centre of Zamora. Quiet room opening onto light well. Good bathroom, air conditioning etc. Convenient to shops, museums.
Location was good, staff were very friendly, room was very nice and quiet.
The police personally escorted us to the hotel as we had gotten totally lost--it was too special
As we only stayed for one night we cannot really rate the hotel. But it seems to be as desribed on booking.com
It's central location and the friendly, helpful staff. Access by car is not easy if you do not know the area.
The first room that we were given was in the attic with a very small roof light. This despite booking a "superior" room. Felt very claustrophobic. Asked for another room and was immediately given a much better room. Hotel could not be better positioned. Breakfast was poor - "hot" food was cold and fat congealed.
The helpfulness of most of the desk staff and easy access to the old pedestrianised part of the city. Car parking fees.
The really helpful guy on reception who insisted on walking with us to show us exactly where to go to park our car.The individuality of the furnishings. The jacuzzi shower which had a mind of its own.....
Excellent facilities, right in the center of the city. Very good restaurant. The staff was very helpful and very friendly.
Nice hotel within easy walk of town center. Helpful staff. Underground parking was a real challenge.
Chic, comfortable, great style, good food. The price through you (about 70% discount!) meant it was extraordinarily good value. Decor quirky and fascinating in public areas, as there used to be a factory and a distillery on the site. Nothing
Architecture and interior design; Breakfast; Location; Confort. Rooms were small, but very well equipped. NH Hotels should provide free wireless net.
Room quality, location
Evening meal which was excellent quality and reasonably priced
Very comfortable, modern, attractive hotel. Good location for people who want to be close to the old town, but don´t want to hassle with the narrow streets and pedestrian traffic. Helpful staff. The extremely tight underground parking. It takes a shoehorn to fit into those spaces. Also, the nickel-and-diming: 14 euros for parking, 14 euros per person for breakfast. Include it all in the room rate!
It was a fine, fine, experience. Zamora was our best stay in a otherwise fullfleged Paradores stay, so that speaks highly of this hotel. There was a mixup with the room and they immediately changed it, no excuses or subterfuges. A truly sensitive staff. Good LCD, Goog choice of channels. Breakfast is still a little too much expensive and there is no parking available so you have to improvise in a nearby public park, that is not protected or gated. That were my only, and quite minor, let downs.
Location was excellent with good off street parking at no charge. Whilst ostensibly a luxury hotel, the carpets in the corridors were overdue for renewal, and we had to change rooms as the aircon was not working properly. In the second room it was not much better. Meal prices seemed expensive so we ate out, including breakfast.
the hotel was very modern, designed in excellent taste and integrating its heritage as both a distillery and monastery
Central Single room very quote small. WiFi card not availiable except 1hr when I was there.
Location and secure parking for motorbikes, good size rooms and good breakfast
The desk clerk on duty at night was very friendly and helpful. I rate him as excellent. I have no complaints and will stay there again.
Hotel and next door bar staff very helpful; coffee fresh & excellent. Good inexpensive family run restauraunt within walking distance. The underground carpark was v.difficult to get into, partly because of right hand drive & because cars were parked on the opposite side of the street and the entrance was v.narrow.
Central position and helpful staff air conditioning wasn't working
they don't turn the AC on till June rooms are to hot at night
Great location. 10-15 minutes walking from the main touristic attractions. Air Conditioner command was broken, and temperature was high.
Situated at the edge of the old quarter of the town just off the main pedestrian street. Modern comfortable hotel with good facilities and underground parking.
Location and parking the size of the single room
The carpet was dirty - needs replacing or serious cleaning.
The hotel is well eqiepped and with all amenities. The restaurant can be recommended. The hotel is a bit noisy. Especially at night. Insulating the walls would be a good idea.
The reception was efficient and welcoming. The breakfast choice was poor. The sound insulation from corridor to room was very poor.
The welcome at 04.30 in the morning!! The breakfast in the noisy bar attached to the hotel.
A modern and stylish (great red & black decor) hotel. Very comfortable. Helpful English speaking staff. 5 Euro taxi to Zamora centre & 20 minute walk back. Location is at edge of city in commercial zone. Great views of warehouses!
Easy access by car. Clean but not confortable. Far from historical center and difficult walking, nonexistence of crosswalks. .
Conveniently located if driving and has onsite parking. This stay was planned as a just out of town stop (the town of Zamora is really very beautiful) to make for a quick trip out. That worked fine. However, the decor while new was cheaply done and the walls were paper thin. An argument outside our room felt like it was coming through the door. The 24 hour cafeteria was hardly a place to have breakfast filled with last nights bar monkeys and the stench of their endeavours. And the internet isn't open until after 10am?
Quiet situation. Parking space. Limited breakfast in smokey bar. For the eveningmeal you'll better go to Zamora.
Chill out, authenitic village atmosphere
As before, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet location and the restaurant attached has a good menu and is excellent value for money You hvae to go outside the hotel to get into the restaurant which is not good if it's raining
Good location, in the small village. Good for travelers with a car. Service in the restaurant.
Rural solitude. The view of the vege patch. Free parking. The hotel was hard to find. Isolated and too far out of town if you don't have transport. Unpleasant staff. Had to eat breakfast in a public bar.
Quaint location, easy access to Zamora. Quiet rural surroundings, great restaurant, friendly staff, great food. Ideal for exploring the area if travelling by car. The included breakfast was a bit limited
Not clean, there was a cockroach in the room. We were changed of room but without any help at night with a young baby. If you want to stay at this hotel, ask a room on the first or second floor.
I enjoyed the breakfast, quite complete, and the silence surrounding Indicate on the web site that the hotel is located on the other side of rhe river of zamora and that it is possible to visit zamora by foot from it
cheap location close to Zamora but away from the congestion. Receptionist was helpful and gave good info about where to park in the city and what to visit. the walls were paper thin; we could hear the neighbouring occupants even though they were not being noisy.
fantastic reception people and staff generally. very good position in middle of town.nice and spacious rooms.Very good restaurant.Zamora is a very interesting small town with lots of history and lots of storks in June! will go back if in the area again.were there for our second time.
the location, and the building itself, were both excellent. restaurant, as usual with paradors, mediocre - and i wish they wouldnt make the poor waitresses the ridiculous "traditional" garb. sorry - see above.
The building was beautiful and the location in the old town was excellent. Pool was good. Check in procedure was lengthy and offhand.
The hotel is a beautifully renovated palace in a great location overlooking a medieval stone bridge over the river Duoro. Our room had an excellent view. Service was excellent on both arrival and departure. Be sure to ask what events are happening in the town as soon as you arrive. Everything is within easy walking distance. No complaints.
the reception staff was very helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent plus the staff very agreeable
Thotel was very nice, the location perfect. You could walk everywhere. Unfortunately the staff was not the best. Long faces and not helpful.
character and location it was rather difficult to get on internet in the rooms, had to sit nearby lobby
The location is right in the middle of the old town of Zamora. We came directly from the Parador at Lerma to Zamora, so it was a bit of a let down. Parador de Zamora is just ok, nothing special. The common areas are ok, the bar is the biggest let down quite small. It would be better is summer if you could use the pool and the inside courtyard which was shut off when we there. Bar area very small and with little or no ambiance.
The location Can'tget an Iron for your clothes. No wireless internet. The rooms are cheaply decorated not suited for 4 star hotels. They didn't even have wash clothes
Very friendly & helpful staff. Made to feel welcome. A little difficult to find. Some street signs would be useful.
Clean rooms, good bathroom / shower, excellet beds, excellent airconditioning for cooling and heating, easy to find as on main ring road, secure carparking, english speaking staff most of the time No atmosphere, never found bar, no vegetarian option on menu (thought there might have been for such a big hotel chain). Hotel rooms not very well sound proofed could hear almost everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carparking expensive as it was the hotels own underground facility.
