9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cupboard and value. The options in the cupboard were plenty and the kitchenette was convenient and clean. Bath towels were thick and fresh too, even compared to higher end hotels.
Cons: Coffee quality and water pressure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good small store for supplies, lots of key things available to borrow.
Cons: Full size fridge in each room is a positive and a negative. For short stays it is a huge negative as the point of a hotel is to sleep and who wants to sleep next to a running fridge?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff and customer service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and great location.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and friendly staff
Cons: No breakfast...but it's an extended stay...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern and clean, I would definitely stay there stain if I am ever passing through Craig.
Cons: Room layout was poor. The bed was pushed right up against the wall so one person would have to climb over the other and have their face up against the wall. We asked to change rooms but hotel was fully booked and so no change was possible. I ended up moving the furniture to pull the bed away from the wall.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They were upfront about Candlewood being an extended stay hotel and stating they didn't provide breakfast, but that there was coffee available.
Cons: Our room smelled like diesel. Or, atleast, someone had stayed there recently who might have been working on an oil rig or might have done diesel repair. It smelled bad. We didn't report it to the front desk - it was 1:30am. We sprayed my cologne on a light bulb and fell asleep. Left in the AM and won't be back.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 24/7 canteen room was nice...offered decaf...room was very nice...loved having a real comfy chair to sit in...staff very kind...will stay in Candlewood Suites again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: recomendation for diner was spot on. quiet location
Cons: Bed too small, I thought when I booked it that it said it was a king size bed, looks like a double to me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with great beds!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great accomodations, desk, full kitchen, comfy chair, great bed, very nice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the unexpected mini kitchen was a pleasant surprise, it even equipped with a dish washer. The room and the ground were clean. Even we stayed on ground floor, it's quiet. We didn't use the A/C or heater because it was at the beginning of fall, we had the window opened. Staff was very helpful and informative. Appliances were available for free at the reception, such as toaster, juicer, bigger coffer maker, just ask. Next to Walmart was also nice.
Cons: For a one night stay on the road, we had nothing more to ask for.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: You can tell someone put a lot of effort in making it a fun western themed place to stay. The setup, kitchen and double room being slightly separated worked well for watching tv while others sleep (children), the person at the desk was very friendly, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Great non-chain place to stay with some character!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Will definitely recommend this place - we stayed in the western cowboy room - loved the decor
Cons: Everything was good
5.8 Okay
Pros: We had stayed at this motel on another trip and found it to be pleasant. That was a few years ago. This trip the motel seemed a bit shabbier. The carpets needed cleaning. The ceiling fan in our room clacked all night long and the air conditioner didn't seem to work very well. Although they offered ice in ice trays in the room's refrigerator, there was no vending ice machine. When we walked into our room, the first thing we noticed was the smell of gas. We had to air out the room and never did find the source of the gas smell. This room was set up as a small apartment, complete with stove and refrigerator. The stove didn't have a standing pilot on the burners but there may have been one in the oven. As I said, we never did find the source of the gas smell but apparently there is a small leak somewhere. We just made sure that a window was cracked to vent the room and kept the ceiling fan running.
Cons: The noisy ceiling fan and the gas smell.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was called the Bison room and it was fixed up so cute. Had a regular coffee pot, refrigerator, stove and microwave.
Cons: The odor in the room it had a stale smoke smell.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed was a little too firm
Cons: More comfortable bed
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked the room set up with 2 beds and a kitchenette.
Cons: That I did not check AC before bed to make it stay on constantly. It kept switching on and off and it kept me awake.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It has great atmosphere. Each room is decorated according to a theme. We stayed in a cowboy room. Furnishings, pictures, blankets we're all cowboy stuff. Very cool
Cons: The door key didn't work initially but the manager fixed it right away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The western decorating is charming. We asked for help when one of us was sick, and help arrive immediately. The friendly help took time to visit with us about local matters.
Cons: The climaer. Altitude sickness got to us.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice people, cute rooms (themes, ours was Indian) had lots of info on area. Plus an awesome fireworks display! Plus a full kitchen

Valley Vista Inn - Craig - Building
5
8.1 Excellent (42 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The motel was just so-so. A little old and somewhat warn around the edges. But the location was stunning! It sits on a hill just outside of Craig and has a very peaceful feel and wonderful view! And it was quiet! Just what I needed after a long days drive.
7.0 Good
Cons: some challenges with the shower working. Also, the bed mattress was very lumpy...

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Staff very friendly. Quiet
Cons: It was a little hard to find in the dark
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Joseph was absolutely awesome. He made sure we had everything we needed and more. He is one of the main reasons we would stay there again. I believe you can stay in the fanciest of places and have horrible service and it ruins your stay. But you can also stay in an older but for the most part clean place and have the best service.
Cons: A little cleaner
6.3 Good
Pros: The price.
Cons: The table was very wobbly; the base is stripped and needs repair--made it hard to use during study. The beds were very uncomfortable. The worst thing is that you can hear someone's conversation--other guests get up at 6 AM, they talk loud, slam doors, and have no consideration for other guests who are sleeping. This may not be the fault of the motel, but signs could be put up to remind people to be quiet and considerate for other sleeping guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, friendly, the rooms were nice. Clean. They meet my expectations for a nice place to shower sleep.
Cons: Bathrooms are a little small. But serve there purpose .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, large room and reasonable amenities for the price. Good value.
Cons: Interior of room was a bit "tired" (cracked paint in places, etc) but overall still a great value. As inexpensive as the room was, I don't know how they could ever afford to touch up the paint!

Pros: For a $50 dollar room, I didn't expect much, but the room was clean and I felt that my truck was fine because the parking area was well lit safe feeling.
Cons: Their wifi was a little slow. Fine for email but slow for watching a video.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had 2 rooms. One was updated the other had not been.the updated was nice.
Cons: The room ac was loud and smelled too much of smoke in the room that had not been updated.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The room had a fridge and a microwave
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable, there’s wasn’t much pressure in the shower, breakfast was just bakery. The place is very outdated . One of the owners was rude when he saw me parked out side waiting for someone to show up because the “lobby” was empty
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and convenient
Cons: Dated TV and door didn't seal very well leading me to believe the rain falling outside was a mouse in my trash nibbling at my chicken bones. Took me 5 minutes to figure out it wasnt rodents but a poor door seal. Upstairs floors creak when the upstairs people walk even softly. Otherwise great value for basic lodging
7.0 Good
Pros: Good value for money, good quiet location and a comfortable room.
Cons: The breakfast was poor even though we weren't expecting a lot, because of the price.
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked that we had three queen beds in our room to fit everyone!
Cons: Breakfast was not good at all and did not like the cat in the lobby trying to be all over me
7.7 Good
Pros: Room was clean enough, the sheets were very clean, it was very inexpensive. We saved $300 by staying here instead of in Steamboat. The wifi was good.
Cons: The room was old so it had a dirty feel to it. The room wasn't super clean but I think the age of everything made it feel even dirtier. The beds were clean but the vanity counter had some stains that looked like they would come right off if scrubbed. When we checked in the lady didn't give us any information about breakfast, so we didn't know where it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable. They have a small fridge and microwave in the room. They have a list of local places you can eat which was helpful. The breakfast was easy grab and go food.
Cons: The ice machine room was locked when we needed it at night. There is not a coffee pot in the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff received me cheerfully at 1.30 am
Cons: Slightly shabby
5.0 Okay
Pros: The space in the room. Didn't feel like an hotel room
Cons: The toilet constantly over flowed. Their was stuff/trash from previous quests. Not feeling like a valued customer. Also felt like living for a landlord rather than comfortable doing as I please.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the above was excellent
Cons: I am Brian from Deer Park, TX
6.8 Good
Pros: I liked the staff and location.

6.0 Good
Pros: Not pet friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly! Breakfast was a little sparse, but it was free, so can't complain. The motel was off the beaten path, so it was very quiet! Very pet friendly as well!
Cons: The only problem we had with our stay was that the bathroom door got stuck shut and would not open and our dog was stuck inside. We had to get a screwdriver to open the door back up. Other than that, no problems.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing. They exterior, the landscaping and the parking lot were weedy and unkept. The inside was no different.
Cons: The breakfast area was a dungeon. The entrance door felt like it was going to fall off every time you opened it.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, and private room. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The view. The loud a/c unit.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was pretty good. Value. I had appropriate expectations for the price.
Cons: accomodations needed some TLC
5.5 Okay
Pros: The place was cheap. I slept there and was gone during the day.
Cons: The place needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. I’ve stayed in Super 8s in other locations and this one is by far the worst. The place has a terrible odor that is overly masked with crappy smelling perfume. Will never stay here again and will not recommend
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked that the room was a lot nicer than it looked like it would he based off the outside appearance
Cons: The 2 cops in the halls made me nervous. The random people hanging out in cars outside made me nervous as well
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were clean neat and spacious. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent and check in and out hours were the most convenient I have seen. Complimentary breakfast area was very clean and efficient and much of the food was in prepackage form which is muc h better than hotels where guest touch most of the food.Refridgerater was decent size in room.
Cons: The hotel is a little older and could use a light renovation.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was fairly clean, and staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The building is a little run down and the staff seemed a little harried trying to keep up with everything.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Not by any busy highways so it was quiet. Cheap.
Cons: Surprised Wyndham attaches their name to this hotel. It's very run down. Paint is chipped and peeling. Hall carpets frayed and missing in places. Bathroom tiles cracked. Alarm clock randomly made chirping noises. Had to fight the bathtub faucet to turn it off.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: Some of the breakfast items were expired.
