Pros: Beautifully groomed grounds with a view of the lake. Room was fantastic and comfortable. Breakfast was great and all cooked on site. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the town square where there are great restaurants and shops.

Pros: This is a beautiful property, even in winter. It is a very serene and relaxing place. We were just there one night, I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was beautiful, the bed was SO comfortable. Everyone we met that ran the place was a pleasure. We also fell in love with the inn cat. Sammy. We will definitely be back.

Pros: I’ve never seen so much care put into anticipating a guest’s needs! This was my first B&B experience and I see why people love it. A few highlights: - Amazing bed linens - Home-cooked breakfast tailored to your dietary needs (and great conversation with the other guests) - Beautiful historic home and garden - Snacks and drinks available at all times - It even had a white picket fence! ☺️ We visited for the 4th of July and loved the small town atmosphere compared to the traffic of Fort Worth’s celebration. The hotel was nice but we would not have stayed there had we known there was not any type of outside swimming available. We went strictly to relax and have privacy a hotel provides.

Pros: I went for 4th of July this time. I liked how organized the hotel was with parking and fireworks display for hotel guests versus general public. I could see the fireworks display from the boardwalk or my room with no obstruction. I loved my lakeside room, as usual; the quietness and access to adjacent beach.
Cons: I left my room at 9a.m. so that the cleaning staff could make my bed and empty trash. I left and returned twice and the lady hadn’t come. She finally knocked on the door after 2pm. By that time I was in to rest so I gave her the trash from the previous night. However, she was polite as was all of the hotel staff.

Pros: The second room we were given (after asking for a change from the first one) was actually very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: We were very disappointed with the location of this hotel as it was not close to the downtown area nor was it "a short walk" to the lake as described. The service was especially unprofessional from our first registration to our checkout. Never again.

Cons: We checked in at 1am, but nobody was manning the front desk at that hour so we had to wait for quite a while for someone to buzz us into the locked building, and we had just driven 5 hours with 2 kids under 3 years old.

Pros: Have stayed here several times over the years. Very decent hotel. Pool is nice for the kids. Staff is super friendly. The space is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The frig is bigger than most places.
Cons: Some of the furniture needs replacing. It’s not terrible just distracting from the overall experience. The breakfast is pretty much terrible. Stick with a bagel and cereal. (I think someone mentioned runny gravy- also not thoroughly cooked at it was grainy as well. ) The parking lot is very small so I would not recommend for those traveling with a trailer or a uhaul.

Then later on the fire alarm went off around 1 AM and lasted for 40 min then started up again 2 more times. They told everyone that they wouldn't discount cause it wasn't there fault and blamed the city's sewer back up for the alarm. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS NASTY PLACE! Worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

Pros: From the front desk to the maid service everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and comfortable! The hot breakfast was actually hot and very good! The pool and hot tub was very clean and refreshing and also stayed well stocked with towels! The equipment in the fitness center all worked and was well maintained! I will definitely stay again and also will recommend it to family and friends!!

Pros: The queen bed was very comfortable and the location was great. Lots of interesting historical touches throughout the hotel. The AC worked GREAT. The food at the restaurant we got vouchers for was very yummy and they had great coffee.
Cons: It was way too hot in the hallways and common area to hang out in there. The room was not as clean as it should be. We pulled out the trundle and there was a lot of trash under there. No sheets on it or in the room. The lady at the desk had me go to a hallway cabinet and get them and put the sheets on my self. The most inconvenient thing was not being able to check out as early as we wanted to because guests had to lock the building if an employee wasn’t at the desk. There should be some sort of box for the key. Maybe there is, but we weren’t told.

Pros: The breakfast was nice! Just hash browns, biscuits, and gravy. The room was comfortable for the most part, and the bathroom + bathtub was so spacious! We also really love the area. The downtown Granbury square is so cute and has so many shops and restaurants.
Cons: Unfortunately, the location of our room was terrible. It was in the middle of the bed and breakfast, and had windows looking out on the social area of the hotel. This was also the area where the breakfast took place, so good luck sleeping in. I think if we had been in a different room, we would have liked the room better. No one let us know there was WIFI for guests, and we did not receive a password for it.

Pros: The location was good. For breakfast you have to walk across the square and eat at the Paradise Bistro.I booked June 8, 2019 for room # 2 with two beds for 4 people. When we arrived we were given room # 7 with 1 bed a day bed and a trundle. My granddaughter went to the desk so I would not have to climb the steep stairs again and told the lady I had booked a room with 2 beds and the lady got very rude and kept saying you have a trundle and she said she had no other room. Then at bed time we realized there were no sheets for the trundle so my daughter slept on a mattress pad and had a very thin, old blanket and every time the air came on she would be very cold. Also, the jets in the tub did not work. The lady at the front desk was so rude she should never deal with the public. For the room we received the price was very high. I will never stay there again and will tell everyone to go to the Hilton.

Pros: We came here for a night away from the kids..and it was honestly the best evening we have had in a long time..this hotel it’s right in the middle of the square, a great location. We ate at 1890, and it was the best ribeye and pork chop my husband and I have had! We were given vouchers for breakfast at Paradise and it was delicious also. We enjoyed our stay it was quiet it had everything that we needed that we didn’t think of bringing. And we will be back!

The inn served a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and biscuits which was also nice. I was disappointed that our room smelled of cigarette smoke (which I am allergic to). Also the shower curtain tried to cling to us while we were taking showers, so we ended up with a lot of water on the floor. Overall, we had a good experience especially for the price!
