Pros: We had a reservation for 7 nights at another hotel (Mayor Pelekas Monastery - 5 star) the place was so bad that we had to find another hotel last minute. We were so glad we found this hidden gem, this place of heaven on earth... The Corfu Palma Boutique hotel. The public spaces are very well presented, the outdoor area is phenomenal, food is incredible and service... service is simply outstanding!!! It is hard to find warm and professional staff like at Palma boutique hotel. I seriously hope that management looks well after staff because staff are certainly looking very well after customers. Dimitra (restaurant), Sotiris (restaurant) and Evi (reception) we’re simply phenomenal. I do apologize as I cannot remember all the names but definitely a big applause for all the staff at the reception, restaurant and bar as they helped us to have a very memorable stay and enjoy the best of Corfu. We will be back next year and we hope everything remains exactly the same :)

8.8 Excellent (31 reviews)

6.8 Good
Pros: The staff were very good.
Cons: No water to drink on site or snacks.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The check in and pre arrival service was very good. Guys, you need to learn how to communicate with unhappy clients. Indifference is a total lack of professionalism.
Cons: Depressing cold place, no ambiance, not cosy, no airconditioning (you need to pay extra), spider web next to the beds, a lot of mosquitos. Not having air conditiong when the temperature on the room is 29 degrees, is like not having toilet in the room. Uncomfortable mattress as well...I am wondering for what I have paid?! Worst place I stayed in Corfu. I also doubt about the management skills of the guy running the hotel. I asked for an official complaint form, he replied that he doesn't have one because the law does not requiere to have them...seriously? Maybe you need to check out EU regulations. In a very unprofessional way, instead of figuring out why I was unhappy, he just wanted to fool me, by writing on a new notebook "complain forms" or something similar and giving it to me. Good service is not measured and applied only when everything goes well. Shame on you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a 5* service, the owners of the hotel was extremely friendly and nothing was ever too much for them. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Towels and bedding changed every other day. We had use of the hotel pool and the 4* hotel pool once we upgraded. The hotel offered us the upgrade from room only to all inclusive at a reasonable rate at their neighbouring hotel which is 4*, food was good and always plenty to eat. The location af the Tina hotel was great, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Cons: There was nothing we didnt like about the hotel.
9.5 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly staff with great care even if we arrived late
Cons: Old fashion furniture
4.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast attendant was friendly
Cons: Well overpriced considering how tired the building is. The wifi was so poor and with such limited range we had to go to a taverna for our requirements. Considering how much we paid, it would cost them so little to install a wifi repeater / booster so that it may be used in the rooms.

Cons: No comments
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful giving us advices about the rental of motorbikes. The beach was very close and pretty.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: 10min walk from the beach. Everything around (supermarket, restaurants: Anna’s place restaurant on the right is amazing), bus station to go to old town. Breakfast was good. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. View from the balcony and very calm place. 30€ to get to the hotel by taxi from the harbour and 30€ to get to old town or airport. I’ll suggest to hire a car.
Cons: There was a cockroach in the room. We killed it and didn’t say anything due to the fact that we are in the middle of hill, wild and it is 35degrees hot. There were other animals entering from the main door as well. The room is really old dated, on wood and old furnitures. Needs refreshment. For one night it was ok
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I like the room, the view and the atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing major.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The staff are really nice, the greek yoghurt every morning was lovely and the location was just right for me.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff very pleasant ....very clean rooms
Cons: There was nothing to don't like
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic - a 2 minute walk from a great restaurant (Alex's), a big, well equipped supermarket, a bakery and the beach with cocktail bars. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day. The pool was well kept and refreshing. Great value for money!
Cons: I would say they need cushions on the deck chairs by the pool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful experience! Balcony is renovated and has a nice view. Room was cleaned every single day. Breakfast has a good selection, maybe not huge but their yogurt is the best!!! Owner and staff are super friendly and helpful with everything we asked!!!! We felt more like guests than customers in a big hotel!
Cons: Rooms are rather old fashion but OK.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location quiet and views great parking on site and lovely gardens & pool ,balcony patio lovely size too for room I had
Cons: Bit off a hill for those hard of walking and decor of bathrooms bit dated and small shower which people may have difficulty getting into
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at La Calma the previous two weeks were amazing. The hotel is runned by a family who is willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. All the members of the family are kind and helpful at any time. We arrived after midnight and were still able to check-in. The first week we had a room with sea view, which I would definitely recommend, you could see the sunrise (when you wake up early for a trip) and the full moon and you have a wonderful view over the bay of Dassia. The hotel is located in a peaceful area 5-7 minutes walk away from the busy area of Dassia, below the hill you will find directly a supermarket, atm and a bus stop to Corfu town or to the other side to Ipsos, Barbati, Nissaki, and Kassiopi. The breakfast is always from 08.30 - 10.00 but if you ask the family to have something earlier or for take away they will prepare it for you when you have a trip for example and have to leave early. Besides this, the breakfast varied per day, one day they had sausages and eggs and the other day bacon and scrambled eggs and aswell some typical Greek food (Cheese pie and Greek salad). Since our flight got cancelled, we informed the hotel for the possibility to stay for some extra nights and luckily they had exactly one room available. However, this room did not have a sea-view they were not very different from each other. The only exception is that the balcony with sea-views are bigger than the ones without but further, the furniture is similar including a fridge, hairdryer and airconditioning. Overall, we were surprised with the services we got from the hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to others! Thankyou for everything and for the amazing time!
Cons: Nothing, excellent service and great value for money!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about la calma is as the name suggests. It is the most peaceful , tranquil place to stay in Corfu. The staff are so thoughtful I have been collected from the town with my bags and taken back at the end of my stay. The gardens are simply gorgeous and the pool is warm and serene. If I had to organise a wedding party I would chose this hotel. It’s is small personal and attentive, the patio area is gorgeous for an evening drink and relax before going out. If you don’t like crowds all the time and need some much needed rest this place is perfect. The guests the hotel attracts are warm and friendly. It’s a short stroll into Dassia for wonderful food. Breakfast is gorgeous taken outside in the early morning . I would always come back to la calma. Thank you everyone for all your help and kindness. Hope to see you again soon, best wishes Kim

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The host was amazing, really tentative and informative. He recommended a few places for us to go and visit. We were on a cycling holiday, so he was really accomodating for us to put our bicycles somewhere. Really friendly host. Location was excellent. Not far from Corfu Town, and near lovely tavernas, sight seeing and Dassia is a lovely town. So worth considering staying there. The place had it's own swimming pool, so during the summer, it is worth using. The place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and really convenient for a self catering apartment. There are a few supermarkets near the area, so no need to worry about buying food. Our apartment was a great value for money, for one with a great view of the sea.
Cons: Nothing, to be honest, we couldn't stay in a better place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view and quietness
Cons: Some basic toiletries and detergent would have been good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great view, the host is very friendly and helpful. He was looking to resolve any issue that might come up. The room we had, had a wonderful view and Kitchen, Just remember that is Korfu you need to bring your own toiletries.
Cons: Water was not hot enough, The host said he will fix it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Once in apartment is very spacious with everything you need, It's all a bit dated but functional. We had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor with a long veranda with distant sea views. The location is a bit remote but very tranquil. There is a large pool and sun bathing area, there may be a bar? But most things were closed as we were the last guests for 2018.
Cons: It's quite a long steep hill to walk up and down to the beach area, We're fit and it took 20 minutes. The fixtures are all a bit dated but work OK. The walls are quite thin and it could be noisy, only one other family with a small child in while we were there and we could hear them moving about in the rooms above.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Apartment was comfortable and really clean (almost every day), it has enough space for a family. The swimming pool is beautiful, as also the back garden! The host is lovely
Cons: Toilet was old and there was odor of sawage during the night
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything, super clean, quiet village vibe, spacious, homey friendly lovely helpful hosts.
Cons: A better / more comfortable bed would be great. Access on foot at night is less comfortable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is located in a quiet, calm area, surrounded by an olive grove with a beautiful scent. Staff is very helpfull and friendly. Nice view. Greetings from Jakub, Magda and Bogdan and Tila :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large apartment.Very qiiet location, Lovely clean pool
Cons: The hill at the top was quite steep
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was well equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. It was very spacious and even had it's own private garden at the back. Additionally, there was a large swimming pool out front with deck chairs round the side. The owner provided a mosquito repellent plug.
Cons: Air conditioning is not included in the price so you have to pay extra for that. Some of the mugs were unclean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had almost exclusive use of the pool which was unexpected! The location and views were fab! The hosts were friendly and accommodating
Cons: Quite a steep climb up to the property. No kettle and found the beds a bit uncomfortable and short when sleeping (we are 5ft11 and 6ft2) There was no remote for the aircon either

5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean rooms, nice personnel.
Cons: I had the loudest room I had ever had in a hotel. There Was a 1,5 cm gap in the bottom of my door, which basically meant I geard everything as if I was sleeping on the corridor. Walls out of cardboard meant that loud talking in the corridor meant I was awakened 2/3 times per night. Uncfomfortable beds and an absurd 5 euro fee per day for air conditioning! Breakfasts were made of cheap ingriedients and unsatisfactory. Overall I do not recommend.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but only stayed 1 night. Rooms grubby and stained bedclothes, balcony doors were not secure, lots of street noise and even when paying for wifi it kept dropping out and could not be used. To add insult the hotel charged full price for 3 nights. Booking.com tried to get refund but hotel still charged full amount.

Pros: Food was amazing (especially Greek night) Location Friendly and opening staff Nice events every evening Clean room Two great swimming pools
Cons: Internet connection Bed was not very comfortable
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything! The staff are very RUDE! The rooms are so old and outdated! The WI FI does NOT work!! ZERO internet!! The food and ‘all inclusive” options are disgusting!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: There staff where very nice, they would go out there way for you, very polite, good choice of food great pool good location to beech
Cons: The drinks wasn’t very good not much choice the soft drinks where far to sweet, and I think cocktails should of been in the all inclusive and slushes for kids, as been to a lot of all inclusive but the drinks that let it down we bought are own from shop.Snack bar they had the same things on every day hot dog and crepes nice but not for every day.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was nice, we had sea view and that was excellent. The hotel is clean, the stuff is very helpful and nice. The food was good, they could improve a little bit the fish dishes, and include more sea food because they didn't have any, only once there was something like paella, other than that they only have some fish or salmon one night, all in all the food was good, traditional greek food, but the salads were excellent! There is a small beach near by, but a little further there is a big beach with sunbeds absolutely lovely, we went by car every day, but you could also go by foot about 20 mins. The water is crystalclear and sandy. Also about the cleaning ladys, even if they came to our room every day and cleaned it, i think they don't pay to much attention, during our 9 nights stay, only once the room smelled like very clean, all in all everything was nice, the food was good and we really enjoyed our vacation.
Cons: I didn't like the bathroom. It needs urgent update!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room with sea view. Terrace. Pool. Parking. Room cleanliness (not bad). Friendly and helpful staff. Some dishes and sweets. Location.
Cons: Unstable wi-fi signal. Bad smell from the bathroom pipes. Food choices may be improved. Around the pool hygiene.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful at check in and with information regarding bus routes, arranging towels and a shower room on the day of check out. Food variety was good, although meat was a little tough the vegetable dishes, salads, cheeses and pastas were great, as were themed nights with local Greek dishes. Room was large, with a large balcony. Beds were comfortable but decor was quite dated. The beach was just a short walk away and very quiet.
Cons: Pool area could do with updating and more loungers. But not an issue with the beach being so close.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool, weather, staff attitude was excellent Late checkout made our holiday perfect
Cons: All inclusive drinks range was poor. No bottled water Sugary drinks only offered Rubbish bags everywhere
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff are so helpful and extremely polite
Cons: I was in room 405 and had some little issues with the WiFi, but nothing major
