Decatur Hotels

Walking across the carpet barefoot made you feel as if you were going to stick to it. The toilet ran all night. Then a bus load of kids came in at midnight and continued to yell for the next 15 minutes as if no one would be asleep at a hotel. Then they phoned our room looking for a friend. The management had to have heard all this noise and didn't quiet these people. The breakfast was sparse.

It was easy to get tooI I didn't like them giving me a unmade room it was used. , they told me they were going to give me a room next door, it turned out to be at the other in of the floor, my husband was real sick and could barely walk that far..Plus they made my husbands bed but never made my bed, thay just threw my sheets up and didn't bother fixing it.

Location Booked two rooms in advance with adjoining rooms. At check in was told adjoining rooms were only for extended customers. I was NEVER TOLD this on the phone when reservations were created and confirmed

The location in town is convenient. Walking distance from a restaurant. The room was disgusting. Stains everywhere, smelled like cigarette smoke (was in a "non smoking" room). Checked in and was asked to leave a cash deposit for the room (never have had to do this before). When checking out we had to wait for them to go check the room and we were charged $10 for a small washcloth that they said was "dirty". $10 for a small washcloth that they would have to clean anyways? We wiped the counter off with the washcloth- nothing that would have stained it. For a hotel that charges so much for such petty items you would think it would be a lot cleaner. The staff was unfriendly and I needed a shower after our stay.. It was SO gross!

Nothing Staff was unfriendly and the electricity went out. I asked for some sort of compensation and was denied. The ac didnt work and the room was hot. Dont stay here
