The staff were not friendly. I requested for earlier check in but was denied. The staff knew that we were waiting for the room. However they told us that the room was still not available at 2:53pm, just seven minutes before their standard check in time. At 3pm, when I was checking in, the staff went away for almost 10 minutes and never said a word why she went away nor apologized for her delay. For star hotel with one star staff/service.
I booked last minute and the room was $300/night. Upon booking, I was told that check in was at 3pm. However, at 3pm the room was "not ready". Eventually 45 minutes later, when I again approached the front desk she offered a room with a Partial Ocean view, which related to a tiny sliver of water. This sliver could be viewed from the ledge, the hotel referred to as a balcony, which was approximately 4ft wide and 8 ft long. Not long enough for furniture so it was barren. The room was nice enough, though it was evident that the cleaning crew had worked hastily; nut shells on the floor, random debris under the bed. All in all completely not worth what I paid. I was highly disappointed.
Good location next to water and shops. Room could have been cleaned better. Wifi isn't anything to brag about in room but that is the norm with Guam.
Great location right on the beach and close to everything (everything in Guam). Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Nice view from the room. Hyatt charged my credit card an additional $400.00 post checkout. I'm disputing the charge but they are very slow to respond/investigate. My res was paid in full on on booking so they made a serious mistake. The hotel is kind of run down, stains all along the carpet and the rooms are damaged and slightly dated. Stained walls, furniture, hallways, light fixtures etc. Not well maintained ir clean as one would expect at a Hyatt. Especially for the price.
Loved the wellness center. Great classes -- only wish I could have taken more of them. Wide range of equipment, and plenty of it. Ample poolside space, with several different pools. if you don't find a chaise longue at one spot, there's plenty more. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The staff were helpful and accommodating. They try to do their best to address my concern. This is my second time going there and found it a satisfying place to stay. The complimentary bottled water is only good for check in! I stayed 3 nights and when I asked for the refill, the answer of the housekeeping is they only give the complimentary during check in. I found it unreasonable.....
The staff was extremely great. The hotel is horrible as far as conditions mildew stains all over the bath tub, beds are extremely hard very and out dated.
No issues with this hotel. Most strongly recommend it for business travel. Great staff and their concern for their guests.
small bath tub, no razor for shaving.
None of it Upon entering the hotel you notice the air feels just like outside; hot. When we got up to our room, it smelt like your grandmas moldy basement. The bathroom was outdated, rusty, and just felt dirty. The tube TV (yes, still has tube TV's in our room) had buttons pushed into it. After coming back one night we noticed we had an ant infestation which caused us to have to move rooms. The room we were moved to was HOT and even stayed hot after cranking the AC down to 60. The bathroom was even worse than the first one. After leaving the ant infested room, my wife and I (two days married) could not sleep due to the feeling of ants crawling on us after being so disgusted from the first room. On our first day we walked down to the pool and both told each other there was no way we were getting in it. The appearance just gave that dirty feeling. While the staff was very friendly, you only deal with them for 10 mins out of your entire stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guam.
Lobby is nice and location is at convenient place. Smelled the mildew in the room., ants and bugs in the room.
There was a gym, location was fairly close to shopping, beach access, good service from hotel folks. Some staff members were rude. Hotel is old so we were constantly moved around because the ac in the rooms kept going out.
I like the location The stupidity of the employees, the horrible rock hard beds, the lil old security guard running around trying to be a hero, the fact that the TV was the size of a lap top and you couldn't hook up any input because of a blocker they had on it, the fact that you would call the front desk for help with something and they would just say "I sorry", " I don't know "!
Staff was extremely friendly and accomadating and the location was great in Tumon. The rooms were fairly large. Internet service needs to improve. Half the time it was down or intermittent. Also, the air conditioning system is in need of repair the rooms humidity was extremely high and always felt the room was wet and moldy smelling. The facility also needs some repairs and upgrades.
The air conditioning did not work
I love the big room One thing that bother me was the bathroom. The shower head need to be replace and clean
I liked that my company was able to book a hotel for the 3 weeks I was spending in Guam. This was the only option available. That's should've been a clue. First, the air con spits out water constantly. If you shut off the air con, mold starts to grow in your room. You can't open the windows to air out the room. During a tropical storm the wood surrounding the windows was saturated with water and started raining in my room... eventually adding to the mold. Most of the staff were nice. I never accepted room service for cleaning but they would give me anything but water. For some reason they refused to provide any more bottled water than the initial two bottles. For the thousands of dollars my room cost, I would think a few bottles wouldn't be a problem. If you have them shuttle you to the airport, pay at reception. My airport driver pocketed $5 when I wasn't looking and claimed I hadn't paid him the full amount for shuttle service. When I counted my money at the airport I realized what he had done. Summary: I've stayed in Cambodian an Laotian hotels that were better maintained at a third of the price.
The location was great. The place needs a overhaul. The carpets on the floors were old and smelled mildew. It would be better if they just ripped them up than to have them on the deck. The light switch in the bathroom would work some of the times. The WiFi in the rooms worked hit and miss. The bar in the lobby area never opened. The whole week I stayed I never saw the bar open. The owners needs to shut down and re-model the whole place. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they fix, and of course I would never stay here again.
Rooms were clean but facilities are in a state of disrepair. Felt like they're doing the bare minimum to keep the hotel running. Not much. Sorta close to Tumon Bay I guess. There's a spa on the first floor that is popular for folks arriving late at night who dont want to spend the money on a room. $15 per person to sleep in the sauna
