Pros: CHarming host - waited up for our late arrival Breakfast...style of hotel/room.
Cons: little bit hot at the top of the house...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not only were facilities top notch, Bert was the most amazing host I have ever had the pleasure dealing with. He made you feel as though Befour was your home away from home.
Cons: I can not name one thing that wasn't perfect about Befour.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is just great, very polite and helpful. Really nice room, very clean and good looking
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern and clean and the breakfast was great.
Cons: The only thing was that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. Its situated in a residential street so parking is where you can find it. I parked ok but it was a few minutes walk away and I couldn't see the car. I wouldn't normally be concerned but we had a car full of bags and belongings as we were on our way to our holiday destination. Anyway, I had no need to worry as everything was fine. The owner said it was a quiet and safe area which I have to agree with.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying, again, the nicest host and everything simply just very good. Very comfortable and cosy
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Manager was extraordinarily helpful, even providing his personal family computer for us to watch a DVD of the film “In Bruges” because the TV sets had no capacity to play DVDs. He also upgraded our room. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Manager made us eggs to order. There was also plenty of room-temperature food, including bountiful servings of lox.
Cons: Nothing important.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic place, with the charming owner. Very close to the historical center. Very good breakfast with the special care to the small details, such as variety of teas, etc. I will surely come back to Befour during my next trip to Aalst.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was superb. That night had snowed and once I got up they had cleared the snow of my car. They are very friendly and take care of details.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, great host, will for sure come back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the finishes, the attention to minor details and the level of service exceeded my expectations. Everything was of the highest quality from the amenities to the robes. This was a five star experience on every level. I was reluctant to have breakfast, but decided to get some coffee. What was prepared would take too long to explain. World class and better than my most recent experience at the 4 Seasons in New York is not an understatement. Fresh squeezed orange juice, localy roasted coffee, a selection of cheese, bread, charcuterie and the option of a cooked breakfast was too much. If Moorsel is an option for you and you don’t stay here, you have missed out! Only downside is that there is no shower but the free standing bath is large and comfortable. Also, do not book this property if you cannot use stairs as the room is on the first floor. I simply do not know how they can provide so much value for so little money! WOW!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and exceptional good service! We had a wedding party nearby and they offered us to bring and pick us up for a small fee as taxi's would be difficult to arrange at night as Moorsel is a small village. Thanks again for that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Literally everything - from interior design to exterior garden - and the people inside where the nicest I have ever met! One of my best stays!
B&B Vinedo - Zele - Building

9.3 Excellent (193 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hosts, very calm environment, perfect room, great breakfast! Would highly recommend to anybody visiting the region. Easily reachable and near to E17 highway by car, near the exit. Great bed, perfect!
Cons: The wifi connection could be a little faster...but it is working fine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The historical look inside, comfort beds, friendly host. Complete breakfast.
Cons: Toilet in the hall
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Home cooked food to order, which was delicious and delightfully presented together a large range of breads and home baked sweet pastries.
Cons: Nothing, the breakfast was spot on with a delightful view of the gardens
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little place in a quiet location. Fantastic renovation by the owners. Good breakfast too
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hosts. Excellent, comfortable king size bed (not typical twin bed setup found in Belgium). Beautifully renovated property, very stylish, high standards, large relaxing garden(s). Great breakfast buffet - plenty of choice, nice coffee, delicious orange juice. Varied selection of Belgian beers in 'honesty bar' - always good to learn a couple of new ones. Would recommend either for a business or leisure trip to the area. Only 2km from the centre of Zele, 7-8km from Dendermonde and Lokeren.
Cons: Bathroom, although private, was not en-suite
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for two nights in this lovely property. The owners are the perfect hosts & speak English well so we had some very nice conversations. We had a lovely room with a private bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The house is full of lovely period furniture & some amazing old paintings & all has been tastefully decorated to match the age of the house which the owners renovated themselves. There is also a lovely garden. They have a fridge available for guests with soft drinks & Belgian beer & run an honesty tab so as you can help yourself & pay later. We were also given directions to a nearby beer shop so as we could stock up with an amazing selection to take home. The breakfast was superb & served at a time to suit us. Hopefully we will be able to return here again one day.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, a large selection of spreads, a generously filled bowl of fruits along with OJ and fresh coffee. Great service from the proprietor! The room and bed were very comfortable with a minor niggle (see below) but with water and coffee (Nesspreso) on the house! The bathroom has a modern deco with one of those big over head showers.
Cons: The window roller blinds were white and didn't block any light so with the first light of morning the room was very bright. For warm summer nights a fan would be a great addition.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love Vinedo. Probably one of the nicest B&B’s I’ve ever stayed at. I genuinely look forward to my next stay there. Many thanks
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was super helpful. My friend got very bad toothache and the host called to get a dentist's appointment (which is really difficult to get!). The hosts even lent me a bike for a short trip around the beautiful Flemish countryside.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and Romantic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This 'B & B' is actually better than most hotels I have stayed at in the region. Very tastefully designed with contemporary furnishings and fittings. Beautiful 'rural' location with restaurant and bar included in the complex. Great food and atmosphere. Very friendly and capable staff.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet an clean, friendly service
Cons: Very modern design but when taking a shower in the bathroom water tends to leak out all over the floor making it slippery. We had the room for 4 with the mezzanine and the ladder is quiet steep and somewhat uncomfortable to climb up on.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Exquisite decor, quiet place, very clean. Breakfast lounge is awesome. I really appreciated Jan who was just hired to take care of the guests.
Cons: Check-in experience (no one present at the reception). Main lights controlled by motion detectors in the room. (not fun at night)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and professional host. Beautiful and interesting architecture of the whole site. One of the most stylish and safe playgrounds I saw.
Cons: The ladder to the second bed is a bit tempting for kids.
7.0 Good
Pros: The on-site restaurant is excellent. I would definitely recommend eating dinner there. The staff were all very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the architecture is lovely- very modern and clean. The shower was also excellent. If the lighting issue is solved, the hotel would be incredible!
Cons: The cleanliness of the breakfast facility was poor (i.e. dirty spoons, opened honey and butter containers in with the new ones, etc). The largest problem was the lighting in our room. The lights are on sensors- ours didn't work and went on and off ALL NIGHT. When we asked what to do, we were told to cover the sensors, but it didn't solve the problem...
B&B Den Boomgaard Moorsel - Moorsel - Building
6
9.3 Excellent (110 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed there last year because of the proximity to visit our sons in Aalst. The B& B is easy to find, has a good parking and we feel we get good value for the money. Karel is an efficient host and the everything is immaculately clean. The rooms are a generous size and we requested the same room as before because it has an ensuite. The two other rooms are also big and do not have an ensuite, but the second bathroom is right in front of the rooms. Bathrobes hang in the armoire. There is also a small fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast is offered with various choices of breads, confections, cheese, charcuteries, yoghurt, fruits and jams. And Cote d'Or chocolates of course! We will return again.

Cons: only negative is you will need a car if you want to get around
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Located in a quite and beautiful suburb outside of the Brussels, it's an ideal stop to drive to the Netherlands. Breakfast in the bright kitchen with views is very enjoyable and a great way to start off the day. The host and service is very friendly. Can't recommend enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was exceptional, with a lot of different kind of food! The place was welcoming, clean and reeeeeally quiet! Zero problems of noise. The staff was really kind and always smiling. We had a late check-out but there was no problem there!

Cons: Nothing special, probably that it is not any possibility for lunch or dinner, only breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the fridge was filled with beer, only found it in the morning. Sad i would've like to drink a duvelke before going to sleep...
Cons: it smelled like the putteke

Pros: Our hostess was delightful. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a friendly conversation in the lovely outdoor area. Imgeborg was very helpful with places to have dinner and any touring plans we had. The breakfast was delightfully presented, delicious and quite gourmet. There was even homemade jam. It was also very helpful to be able to use the breakfast room which was accessed from the garden for refreshments at other times during the day. Also it provided a large screen television to use if you wished. We would highly recommend the Casa Cava as good location for visiting the lovely cities of Ghent and Brugge by car.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful mansion in the centre of the city. Combines old decorum with new comfort. Nice view from the streetside rooms. Very good breakfast. Nice host.
Cons: The stairs are quite noisy - carpeting would be a good idea. Of course this kind of ruins the look of the staircase.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house! The host is a very friendly gentlemen :) The kitchen has all the stuff one needs for cooking.
Cons: Probably some time ago it was possible to smoke inside because we could smell it in the corridor and at the stairs. But it was not that terrible :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view to the river from the room
Cons: The dinning room a bit dark. I would rather to have the blinds open in the morning during breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very tidy, clean, quiet and a lot of space to use (living room + kitchen downstairs + small courtyard) Free WiFi, airconditioning, TV, water and chocolates available in the room and a good soft bed.
Cons: Roadworks were going on, right in front of the guesthouse, so parking was an issue. However, this got solved by a good suggestion of the host. Maybe interesting to get this info in advance, but problem was solved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and beautiful accommodation. The shower was excellent.
Cons: Our room was up four flights of stairs, so it would have been nice to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The comfort and the really good breakfast
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was 2 minutes walk to the main square and next door to an excellent, authentic Greek restaurant. Very quiet at night and we liked the balcony off our room. Well-appointed decor and very comfortable, king bed. We arrived late after cycling all day, so tea-making facilities in the kitchen were very welcome. Phone arrangement for late arrival after 19:00 was no problem.
Cons: It wasn't a problem for us, but the steep stairs to the first floor room and then 4 more steep steps up to the ensuite bathroom could cause concern to some travellers.

Pros: The whole ambiance and the tspace
Cons: Nothing special
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the outdoor shower is a great experience; the kindness of Nico and Leentje makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is super.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent. The hostess provided dinner of what we wanted. The only point being that the bedroom was on a form of mezzanine, so the bathroom was downstairs - only a minor inconvenience to go to the toilet during the night ;-) It was not too clear that we would not have access to the facilities from the description. However, the hostess allowed us to have access to the spa after the other visitors left at 23:30 for 30 mins -was excellent.
Cons: The explanation on the internet regarding access to the spa facilities....
9.3 Excellent
Pros: When I saw the building from outside, I confess I was a bit worried, but as soon I got in, the smell and the general environment made me feel really comfortable. The loft was super spacious, a big living room, there was also a little terrace with the outside shower (unfortunately wasn't brave enough to try). I loved that there was a nespresso machine available and coffee. Nico was lovely, really welcoming and helpful. The place is a 10min or less walk to the main street with restaurants and stores.
Cons: There could be a shower or at least the option to hold the shower up
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Due to the weather the bed just under the roof was too warm despite the air conditioning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: cosy apartment. outside shower.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This place was the dream! I fell in love with this loft and everything was perfect and SO comfortable.

Pros: Excellent very clean and tidy, very helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for an overnight stay and the Hostellerie met our needs perfectly. The outside terrace for dinner was charming and the quality of the food and service from the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are all very pleasant and friendly, it is a nice relaxed atmosphere. Parking was easy. The wifi was good, comfortable bed and excellent shower.
Cons: Room was a little noisy, it was right on the road and not soundproofed, so there was quite a bit of noise from the corridor in the morning. No hand soap in the bathroom. Our meal in the restaurant was mixed, it was perfectly pleasant but not top notch cooking. Somehow the flavours/seasoning didn't quite work, for example my red mullet was overpowered by the risotto and the dill sauce. Again, my partner's steak was overwhelmed by the sauce reduction. And there was no tap water available. The ambiance is nice in the restaurant and we enjoyed our meal, with an excellent bottle of wine, but I would not say it was good value for money.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Nice, big room. The hotel itself is beautiful. The dining room/living rooms for the guests to use were big, old grand rooms with lots of antique furniture and ornaments.
Cons: We had mosquitoes in the room and got bitten quite badly the first night. However, the hotel does provide a plug in repellent which we failed to spot on the first night, so it was our own fault. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning which meant we had the windows open as it was 28 degrees in the room, which isn’t great with a baby and probably drew more mosquitos in.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast great, location fine. Nice old building and garden
Cons: En suite needs update + new air con unit in room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was better than expected! Beds were amazing facilities were perfect 10/10

Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: It was close to the track where the athletics meet was on
Cons: The air conditioning was just a machine in the room which was useless and it was so hot that we had to open the windows. Our room was on the street side so it was noisy and we all got bitten alive with midgets. Wouldn’t stay there again
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great Staff , location and comfort. Beautiful garden
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a great location: 2 min from the railway station, 6 min to the city center - perfect! The host is very polite and friendly and guest-oriented - it was a pleasure to talk with him :) My room was furnished as a Victorian royal palace so I felt like a queen on the holidays :) There was also everything I needed: an air conditioner, a refrigerator, coffee, tea, electric teapot, and water. And the breakfast was delicious! The hotel also has a lovely garden hidden from the rest of the world and it's a perfect place to take a rest after a long day with a glass of wine. Absolutely recommend this place!
Cons: The air conditioner was making a bit of noise but it wasn't unbearable.

Pros: Ornately decorated, authentic Belgian villa. Definitely worth a visit. Exceptional.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Manager Luc will welcome you personally with all regards required for you to feel home is this beautiful villa. The daily rush won’t pass the beautiful driveway leading to the villa. Once settled you enjoy the comfort and tranquility of this marvelous setup and time passes much slower than we are used.
Cons: Leaving...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A unique experience. Our host was welcoming, even though we arrived way past last check-in due to Eurostar delays. The whole experience felt like staying in a luxury home. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and 100% organic. Beds super-comfy, wi-fi fast and free and lots of extra little touches that made it an almost 5-star experience. Beautiful lounge downstairs with a roaring log fire. This is very much a personal experience, quite unlike most modern hotels, B&Bs, or hostels.
Cons: Bathroom and toilet are shared - not a huge issue as there are only three rooms but bear this in mind if it's a concern for you. The rooms have wash basins and the toilet is separate to a luxurious bathroom so it's not a huge issue. Stairs are extremely steep and narrow - this is not a place to stay if you have mobility issues. It's simply down to the age of the building so unavoidable but they are decidedly precipitous!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property is honestly just beautiful. The owners have done a wonderful job in building and decorating. For example, the room where I staid had and oak beams with teak ceiling boards - all put together with wooden pins rather than nails. Lovely. The breakfast was also wonderful, and sitting by the real wood fire drinking your morning coffee is a lovely way to start the day. The owners were also extremely helpful, driving me to and from the train station when I wasn't able to get a taxi...
Cons: I highly recommend this location if you are in the area but to get to and from Brussels for work is a bit difficult.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We felt very "at home" by the friendly and warm welcome and service. They took all the time to help us out with tips for cycling routes through the beautiful area. And good advise on where to go for diner.

Pros: We stayed at Cosy Cottage for 2 days whilst we got married at a nearby church. Katty & Philippe were wonderful hosts, very attentive and accommodating. The property itself was just as we had expected. Cosy, rustic and tranquil. The room was lovely, the breakfast was great and the garden was beautiful and perfect for some photographs after the wedding. We love this place and will stay here whenever possible when visiting our church in the future. Throughly recommend.
Cons: Nothing.
