Cons: I originally booked one night through booking.com. Upon arrival, I asked for one additional night. This is my fault, because I was tired and not paying close attention, but they said I could have an extra night at very good price. When it came through on my account is was more than double the first night price. Way more. As I said, not paying attention is my fault, but I wish they had actually pointed out the price difference. Having said that, it is a beautiful property. I’ve stayed here several times before. I’m just disappointed in myself and in the front desk staff on this one occasion. Mainly myself, since I guess their goal is making more money and I wasn’t paying attention. But I probably won’t come back.

Pros: I did not have breakfast as my favorite Cafe Batu Jimbar was across the street. Location was excellent provided you were not planning to go to the beach - which was not far away, perhaps 15 minutes walking distance. Room was really spacious. I asked for flat sheet instead of duvet upon booking the place & got it. The room was facing West; when checking in around 3 PM the curtain was open in the afternoon, very glary & hot.

Cons: The curtain was not black-out - perhaps dim-out. I wanted to sleep late, but could not as the roomt was already very bright early in the morning.

Pros: Location was perfect for my purpose. Staff were friendly and helpful Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished

Pros: Great location. Well decorated rooms French style with nice Carrara marble for the bedside tables, vanity counters and all other counters which I felt was a nice luxurious touch. Nice wooden floors. Good plush towels. Pool downstairs good size. Lots of eateries and shops right outside.

Cons: Check in took a while. They can easily improve on that.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and their service impeccable. WiFi was very good.

Cons: Rooms were quite expensive. For what they charge for the rooms they should provide free breakfast which wasn't done. For a five star resort there weren't enough restaurants..for example no 24 hr coffee shop. Again for what we paid there should've been free airport pickup but we had to pay.

Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. The view was nice.

Cons: I felt most of my stay that the resort is almost empty, specially when visiting the in-resort facilities. It is far from most of my points of interest.

Pros: I stayed in a villa with a private lap pool so i liked the privacy. Food was also good. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Had to ask for my room to be cleaned on one occasion. Also my room service tray was left outside my room door for 2 days? Ash trays outside were not emptied on one occasion. Also would be more comfortable with some shaded area outside where the sun lounges are.

Pros: We stayed here for one night due to a Jetstar delay. Would like to stay longer next time. Beautiful hotel and room with gorgeous beachfront location. Food was amazing. Room was clean and well appointed. Room service was quick and the food was beautiful. The restaurant is also first rate. Quiet beach with little to no ‘harassment’. Hotel is very well located.

Cons: ‘Lagoon view’ is a bit misleading which was disappointing - you’ll get a view of someone else’s private pool. Pool water is warm even by Bali standards.

Cons: My toilet flooded on the first night, i took a afternoon flight and arrived there at 7pm then at 11pm my toilet flooded after taking bath... had to wait for almost an hr to get the room changed. (That night is my birthday but the hotel offered us nothing after all) Room is too humid(even the room that they changed for me) Breakfast is okok

Pros: Everything!! It was our second stay at Karmagali this year, Frederic and staffs are amazing!

Pros: The pool was beautiful. They serve a free morning and afternoon tea on your outdoor table everyday. Our arrival drink and food was an unexpected yummy treat. The chef is French I believe. The bathroom was large and plush bringing the outdoors in. Great shower pressure and hot water. The delightful staff were very helpful with arranging our travel plans.

Cons: I thought it was going to be a bit closer to the beach. It was about 3 or 4 blocks away. The places to sit around the pool were very limited.

Pros: This place is amazing I can see why it's no 1 on trip advisor!! It's a little oasis of calm the staff are lovely and it's good to hear that they are so cheery and have fun when they are working. We had a small earthquake while we were here the staff were very reassuring and calming. We also missed our flight and again the staff were very accomodating. the beds are so comfy, the bathrooms are amazing with beautiful products to use, the breakfasts are amazing and the pool area so serene!! I would recommend this place 100% the area is also lovely and a bit of real Bali, Sanur is certainly the best place to stay in South Bali. Amazing

Pros: I liked the idea and the outdoor earing area and the bathroom toiletries and free bikes we got to use. It was just a shock as I entered because that's not what I imagined while booking it. Even though there were images and meaurenuts.. My fault I didn't pay attention. Good for older people not younger people.

Cons: It was too small. And the rooms had no privacy with half of the room in glass doors. There was nothing to do at the villa but sit in your room or be exposed with the curtains open if you wanted day light in your room. And the pool was too cold for the pleasant weather sanur had. They should heat it slightly at night.

Pros: Great beachfront hotel close to restaurants, Stayed in Village II Club Room. Attendant was excellent, complimentary cocktails a great way to meet others and the Village II pool area was peaceful and relaxing.

Cons: Little disappointed on arrival, found Village II sun lounges and day beds had quite a lot of dirty marks and the pool towels were quite stained, also our rooms shower was mouldy. Enjoyed the Village II environment, it wouldn't take much for them to fix these small problems and then this place would be unbeatable for value and quality..

Pros: Cannot praise this hotel enough. Totally beautifull, lovely well thought out grounds, fabulous staff, our deluxe bungalow was great-and the price incredible! Would definatley recommend.

Cons: Internet charges at the hotel were really expensive-but thee is a bout a million internet cafes within 5 minutes walking, so it wasnt a great problem, just slightly annoying they were so greedy with it (10000 ruppee a minute, the much quicker one round the corner was 6000 for 15 minutes.

Pros: Room, although not renovated yet, was very spacious and clean.Location at the beach , pools very beautiful.

Cons: The information on travel, e.g our intent to go to Lombok - information was confusing, depending who wanted to make money on our trip (not the quickest way was offered, but taxi ride)

Cons: I could smell smoke each time the air-conditioning came on. Whilst the staff, food and facilities were good, I would not stay again because of the smell of smoke. The Korean Orchestra was rehearsing during the middle of the night which kept me awake. Fortunately, it was a lovely sound but it did interrupt my sleep the night before I was taking an international flight home.

Pros: The breakfast buffet, particularly the bacon was delicious. Loved our room.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent with lots of dishes to choose from. The main lounge served lovely cakes as well as passable coffee and good drinks. The restaurants served large portions, though it got a bit monotonous. The main restaurant was largely Hong Kong-Chinese for lunch and dinner, which was surprising for a hotel in Bali. The pool was huge (though as one reviewer notes, not easy to get out of). The rooms were clean, well equipped, and comfortable.

Cons: The wifi was terrible: I had to turn it off most of the time and use up phone data instead. At times there seemed to be a coverage issue (surprising since there were wifi antennae throughout the hotel), but for the most part it seemed to be capacity: too many people using a system that simply can't cope. The location was ok, but a little out of the central part of Sanur with all the restaurants and shops. Sanur Beach is quite calm because it is sheltered by coral reefs going out to sea (you can see the waves breaking about a kilometre off shore), and the beach club is cool and pleasant. However, the beach sand can be very sharp with patches of sharp crushed coral, and in the water there are many patches of rock, coral and sea grass amongst the clear sand. Put simply, the beach is a bit mixed.

Pros: I like how comfort the room was, and also the aircon works well.. makes the room very pleasant to stay within, i also impress about the housekeeping service, i asked for express shirt pressing service because i what to wear that shirt immediately for some event, and they can provide very excellent service...my shirt ready in 30 minutes

Cons: We booked for a little cottage , my mom ( 79 years old ) and i , when we came to this cottoge , the smell was coming to you , mole in the bathroom , mattress very soft and bad , the whole parc under construction , everywhere toilets, workpeople and a lot of noise, not written on tbe website !!! We asked for another room and we had to pay € 154,00 more !!! They put us not in a room with a view on the garden but on a broken wall...we could change after 2 days but than we had to pay extra € 154,00 more...NO SERVICE AT ALL !! The room was so and so , airco was not possible to change , i catch a cold and bacterium because they did not clean the airco , was ill for 4 days and till the end coughing...the beds around the pool are old aswell the mattress on the bed , they all were torn..breakfast is every day the same , no change at all , after 5 days you want to taste something different ( we stayed 12 days) On the tv there was a spot that they have a gym , very beautiful and clean , i was very happy because i go every day to the gym , till i saw the gym ....very small , old and rusty equipment, very bad shape...no gym I asked at the reception if i could make a copy of my boardingpass , not possible ??? The copy machine was in front of me.... It is a pitty i can not put more pictures of this awful hotel because there is no space. So do i ever come back here ? The answer is NO !!! NEVER AGAIN !!

Cons: Food was average for the price. Complimentary drink was an insult, fake juice out of a bottle, when they have beautiful fresh fruit available and about a 50ml sip.

Pros: We paid the standard room and we were really disappointed very much. The second day, we immediately upgraded the room and moved to deluxe and finally our holiday could begin with the best and then we were enjoying the resort, area, breakfast, service of the hotel, etc. Eventually, it was wonderful time.

Pros: Beautiful resort with many flower, many activities. I love this resort. Clean room, great balcony with beautiful garden. Very very recomended if you want to get great an quiet holiday. Just relaxing on the pool with cozy corner. I will be back.
