All of the guest rooms here come in both single king mattress and dual queen mattress configurations. Outside of the rooms themselves, there are several perks to staying in Aloft Detroit. The re:Charge gym is a fully loaded fitness area with treadmills, free weights, weight machines, stationary bikes and more. Great location. Close to sports facilities for Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, and Lions. Historic hotel with great lobby. Good restaurant too. Museums, river front, shopping, Greektown, restaurants - all walkable.

Pros (+) Walk to most of Detroit’s best attractions. Suites are comfortable and spacious. Amenities are minimal.
Cons (-) Price was quite high compared to past visits, could have stayed at the Book Cadillac for same price with premium rooms and amenities for the same price.

Pros (+) The Aloft is a great hotel. Rooms are nice, although a bit dark and could use more lighting. Staff was extremely helpful and answered all questions. The bartenders at the WXYZ bar were great.
Cons (-) The hotel needs a restaurant or small place to eat. For being a wonderful downtown hotel, it is nice to get something to tag at the hotel.
