Pros: The welcome was wonderful. We bought some dinner from the supermarket as didn’t want to drive to a restaurant (hic) - Melanie not only stored the food for us - but presented a beautiful table and also cleared.
Cons: Nothing to say...
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was expensive but that seems to be typical of French hotels.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful owners and staff. We were given great restaurant recommendations by Isabel the owner, who was also helpful in our communicating with our French driver on Blah Blah Car. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed and the bathroom quite comfortably large. Breakfast was enjoyable in a nice eating area. Location on quiet street near the beach was excellent.
Cons: We had the suite which was accessed by some steep stairs and no elevator access so keep that in mind when booking.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff is perfect and the location is nice. Just in the downtown and next to the beach.
Cons: Small room. For the price, I expected a bigger room. But I think it’s difficult in Trouville to find a big room with a reasonable price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION, BED AND STAFF
Cons: No air conditioner and no refrigerator in the room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, the rooms are clean. Parking available on the street.
Cons: Really small room, we did not take the cheapest, but it was tough to move for two people inside of the room, when you have some luggage. No proper shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, when we pay this price we expect some variety of toiletries. The room is noisy, as the bed is just at the entrance door, and the door next to the elevator.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely clean and modern hotel and very friendly staff.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were excellent and hotel was in a perfect location.
Cons: We had a suite for 4 people and with the sofa made into a bed there was very limited floor space and the room felt too small for the 4 of us to spend any time comfortably.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the sea with great staff and cool interior. Even got parking in front!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Great location Great atmosphere
Cons: -
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great. Staff were warm and welcoming. Hotel design is modern, as in the photos on the website.
Cons: Rooms are quite small(make sure to check how many square metres when booking!) and sound proofing not great. Super basic supplies in the room. No toiletries except hand wash and shower gel. Small kettle for coffee but the barest minimum choice provided for coffee and tea. Towels were thin and fairly small. No English TV channels. Breakfast was going to cost EUR 14 so we declined.

Pros: Wonderful location, great view and very nice Property and garden
Cons: Poor service, on the Saturday we came down for breakfast at 10.30h and had to wait for the brekfast table to be set up and it is not pleasant to see the family around in pijamas. Pros: Le Mont D'Auge is one of the best places we've stayed. The hosts are a kind, intelligent, and caring couple that will make sure you have a great stay, give you recommendations, and talk with you about anything over breakfast. The room is big, very clean and confortable. The surroundings are so quiet that you can sleep for decades. The breakfast is great. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful welcome, lovely hosts, beautiful location, fantastic rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: Its a very dark place. Much more a B&B than a hotel too. At breakfast there is almost no privacy when more guests are present. Some people will like the English Styled house but we didnt. In the bathroom it was not possible to take a shower, no place to attach the hose. So sitting in the bath was the only option.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location with wonderful sea view & towns of Deauville, Villerville & Honfleur within a few minutes drive. Loved the style of the house. Staff were very welcoming & helpful including our English host (lovely character), nothing seemed too much trouble. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rustic charm found at this property was nice. Breakfast was included and delicious. The scenery of the farm and countryside added to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts and other guests!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an excellent location for those who wants to relax away from day to day activities and get closer to nature in Normandy. Although hotel located in the middle of green fields and forests, there are few small and beautiful towns in 5 minutes drive with nice restaurants, shops, byke rentals, supermarkets and parks. The owner Leonel, is very gentle and good person. I just asked him to translate telephone call but he owned my problem and did his best to help me.
Cons: Almost nothing to say in this section. Maybe some towels were old.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious and beautiful! Excellent service and delightful breakfast!
Cons: Rooms were warm.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was excellent, apart from reception procedure.
Cons: On morning of check out I received e mail stating " we confirm you are registered as " FAST CHECK OUT" enclosing a copy of final invoice and stating account cleared using American Express card presented on arrival. Since then, I have received four e-mails requesting pre authorization forms, copy of passport, copy of credit card??? I have confirmed twice by e-mail if there IS an outstanding balance to charge card as agreed. This is very annoying and totally unnecessary.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Not referring to this hotel, there is in general still a big gap between room price of 4* and 5* hotel
Cons: A very high standard hotel with high quality of service and food. You can have your great breakfast with a very great sea view. It is 2 stairs' steps far from the ocean. Silent and quite atmosphere.

Pros: Location
Cons: Toilet was in a room like a small closet with no sink in it to wash your hands. The shower /tub was a separate room. Had to climb into the high tub for the shower. No grab bar.

Pros: Beautiful setting and hotel. The breakfast was probably the best I have ever experienced - super healthy, help yourself to as much/little you wanted. The staff were all lovely and super helpful.
Cons: In the restaurant our main course food was pretty poor all the nights we stayed, though the starters, puddings and other meals were all excellent.

Cons: Restaurant for dinner is mediocre, menu is old fashioned, quality is mediocre, staff needs more training. Could not get in touch with wellness centre despite leaving messages

Pros: Probably the best breakfast we have been offered in France, a great dining room, a very comfortable and spacious lounge. Well fitted and spacious bathroom and shower with separate toilet. Good tv reception.
Cons: Access to our room was difficult up open air stairs after traversing a badly potholed access road from car park to our rooms building. Poor lighting in our room. No apparent service at the bar in the early evening.

Pros: Silence of the place!
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: The rooms are a long walk from the reception, dining room and pool. Room accessed up flight of external stairs. despite being in lovely countryside the architecture of the rooms provided no opportunity to enjoy outside views. Very poor service at the bar in early evening, long wait to get a drink before dinner. I would not book there again.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, lovely decor, comfy sofas and plenty of seating. Lovely kids play areas.
Cons: The swimming pool closes at 19.45 in the evening, which is quite early- especially when you have a young baby and you want some time in the evening to use the pool.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Place was clean and lots of room for our family of 4. Our kids loved the pool! Arthur (at check-in) was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: That we had to strip the beds and take out the trash. I’m not sure why the cleaning service doesn’t do that and didn’t know until I received a text telling me to do so before leaving. Breakfast was just okay. I thought that for €19, I could get an omelet, but it wasn’t possible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: * Perfect location * Very well equipped appartment * Swimming pool and large terrace next to pool with good seats/beds
Cons: * Terras/balcony was nice but dirty * Noice in appartment due to renovation work in other building * Windows were all broken, not one could be closed normally, very bad quality

Pros: Modern and functional. Very clean.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apartment with view of the harbour and town, excellent facilities
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything. New, modern apartement-hotel. Large room on two floors. Kitchen was great and balcony! Nice yard area with pool. Everything was close - only 5 min to walk. Large underground parking.
Cons: Too expensive for apartement hotel. Outside pool area was overcrowded. After 10.15 no free sunbeds. No air conditioners in rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good however we did have problems on arrival as it was difficult to understand that you needed to park outside the location and then get to reception through a gate once in however the reception staff were very good We did also book a ground floor room with a pool view due to a disability. The room was excellent and the views very good. We thought we had direct access to the pool area however we didn't and with a person in a wheel chair access to the pool area was difficult as we had to negotiate a lot of doors
Cons: We thought it was a shame that breakfast was so expensive it would have been nice to just go down and have coffee and croissants Also on the Saturday during our stay there was no one on the reception to the spa so children were running around the tranquil spa area and in fact going into the steam room and sauna which I didn't think was very safe either Most times of the day there was no one in attendance which defeated the object of the exclusive spa area
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was our first visit to Deauville. We had our family with us including our 19 month old grandson. The hotel was perfect and the self catering style apartment ideal. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. The only thing we would have preferred was to have a washing machine in the room rather than having to go down to the laundry room each time. Otherwise, everything was superb.
Cons: as above. could have done with a washing machine. Also, some condiments such as salt and pepper and sugar and perhaps an ice tray in the freezer.

Nice big rooms at the second floor with a bathroom and toilet. Nice and relaxing surrounding, the house and the garden a real scenic beauty. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast.
Cons: Little noisy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect or almost perfect. The room is modern, clean, quiet, with windows to the garden and courtyard. We were very pleased to use the kitchen on the farm and eat in the garden under the apple trees. This was our best accommodation in Normandy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Picturesque location with refurbished barn accommodation on a farm with horses and animals. Spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished room, with a large bathroom. Our accommodation had an extra room with twin beds which we did not need but gave us lots of space. Breakfast, continental, was excellent with our hosts in attendance. Home made jams were very tasty. Our host recommended a nearby restaurant on the outskirts of Honfleur for an evening meal - which was an excellent reasonably priced meal. Would stay again.

Pros: Every thing especially the salt water pools / thalassotherapy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A really great hotel, with a truly relaxing atmosphere. Our rooms were compact but big enough for the two of us. We've requested interconnected rooms for us and the children, which was a big plus for us as a family. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with lots of regional produce, so make sure you include breakfast in your stay. definitely worth paying extra for. Hotel staff was really friendly and helpful, even though we didn't speak (much) French.
Cons: I thought it was a shame that the indoor pool, sauna and steam room already closed at 7:45pm. It would have been great to be able to use the facilities until 9pm. The gym was also rather small.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: We should have booked an extra night!
7.1 Good
Pros: The room and, generally, the facilities were clean. Quiet location, direct access to the sea front, easy parking, EV-charging stations. Free bottle of water each day. Nice outdoor swimmingpool. Indoop pool to hot for swimming but fine for relaxation and Spa.
Cons: Overpriced for a so called "spacious" room. No space in the bathroom for toiletry. Overpriced breakfast @ 21Eur per person per day. Pancakes and scrambled eggs were cold every day. Breakfast area not very clean compared to the rest of the hotel. Sauna and steam bath are very basic and only one small towel was provided.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing the staff were so friendly and helpful. When our car broke down, Pascal helped us get back on the road. He was brilliant. Will def return
Cons: The breakfast is too expensive if it was 20 euro we would def eat there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful building and well located by the sea front.
Cons: The food was a slight let down versus the standard in the town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphère, location and service
Cons: Breakfast too standard, casino too dull
6.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful and well located.
Cons: Overall, a disappointment for a traditional 5-star hotel, particularly on services. There is very limited parking, which has to be booked in advance. If you haven’t, get ready to waste a lot of time finding parking in the city. Further, when I got the my rooms were not ready - even though I was paying for it. Finally, there is no structure to support you at the beack (hotel is by the beach). Even towels are not provided - you are asked to use the bathing towels in your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room service (because we had a dog with us) was excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional. The hotel is first-class, a luxury hotel from the days of classic travel, and very well maintained.
Cons: I liked everything about the Barriere le Normandy. It's the sort of rare hotel that seems to anticipate everything you might need.
7.5 Good
Cons: Kitchen in the restaurant closes at 22 and no other place to eat after that. Very poor room service menu, especially the 24/24. The application didn't work and finally had to order by phone. What's the point of making us install the app? First night towels were not changed during evening house keeping service. Next night they were wet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location; beds:
Cons: Prices for services.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and service
Cons: The room was not romantic enough for the price!

7.5 Good
Pros: - A great hotel for those wishing to play golf - Rooms were of a high standard, with new bathrooms and a large modern / fresh design in the bedroom - Staff were very helpful and polite
Cons: - Poor Selection of places to eat in the evening, if you need alternatives then it's a shuttle bus ride into town - For a 4 Star hotel, with a very high nightly room rate, you'd expect air conditioning in the room - there was none
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My wife cannot walk and is wheelchair bound. The hotel gave us an upgrade, without our asking for it, to a truly excellent room with first class disabled bathroom facilities. Staff were generally very helpful. The hotel building is impressive, particularly the foyer and dining room from which there are splendid views across Deauville and the Seine estuary. We loved the out of town, golf course setting but also appreciated the fact that the drive to the centre of Deauville only took about five minutes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The shuttle to the Le Normandy and the other hotels and casinos is an outstanding peck!! It makes the stay at the hotel superb. All the drivers were very good and helpful. Of course the location of the hotel is best.
Cons: The availability of air conditioning would have made the stay even more pleasant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The quality of service was quite good. The resort was quaint keeping to more traditional times ie. small elevators. Michel Tougard, the chef concierge was most helpful and gracious as were the members of the golf staff. Conveniently located to Deauville center city and the surrounding area. A free shuttle service to other Hotel Barriere properties was most appreciated.
Cons: The cost for 2 cups of coffee at 12 EU was a bit much but can be overlooked for an otherwise quality experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent. Close to central Deauville but a very quiet location. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. I particularly like the steam room and the outdoor heated pool- lovely to swim outside in October. Very comprehensive breakfast with everything you need to start the day. We will be back as we loved our two night stay. Thank you!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location and loved we were upgraded to a deluxe room Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant but need to book in advance which we didn’t realise Also would have liked a treatment in Spa but booked up
Cons: No air conditioning and though the large windows opened wide there was nothing to keep them open
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet ambience. The bright and airy bedroom. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The lack of chairs other than sun beds around pool
5.8 Okay
Cons: No air-conditioning

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's in a perfect spot on the beach our dog was welcomed the staff were lovely and the food especially the oysters was fab .....definitely going back
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the beach. 6 minutes drive to the station. I would like to give thanks and great appreciation to Nelissa Neriaux. She has the warmist heart and the best hospitality. After I arrived at the hotel I found out that my room is in the third floor and no elevator. Being over 60 with bad knees I could not do it and they had no rooms available in the first floor. Nelissa felt more sorry than me. The next day I checked out knowing I am loosing 2 days payment. She called booking and explained the situation and she refunded me the 2 days in cash. Thank you Nelissa. If I come back I will stay in this hotel because of you in the first floor. . I also thank the booking representative who helped solve my situation.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was a studio and excellent. Balcony had view of river estuary and a 15 min walk down the estuary path took us to the bridge over the river into the town Lidl next door but one for a €5 breakfast buy in rather than € 24 in the hotel. Rooms have kettle and microwave
Cons: Trying to find it, hidden behind Lidl. No evening meals

Pros: The breakfast was great value and the outside they made the best of the space with great plants and shrubs and colourful staying and was designed very well
Cons: Wish they could have a kettle in the room when you get back in the evening etc
7.1 Good
Cons: The preference for the French guests and the miserable manager
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean / good ovation and perfect for a stop over on route down to Brittany.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, nice breakfast and short walk to town and restaurants.
Cons: No air conditioning .Our visit coincided with France's heatwave so had to keep window open and outside floodlights not turned off at night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Customer service great. Nice and clean. Close to the beach.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Very bright as you walk in, friendly receptionist.
Cons: The room was very small, booked a standard double. Toilet felt like you was in a cupboard and shower in the room. Ok if you are in a couple but if you we’re sharing with a friend not so private. There is a privacy curtain although this is see through. Bed was a little hard but as we were only staying one night not a major problem.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very convenient for traveling to coast and surrounding villages. Hotel gardens were interesting and well kept.
Cons: Rooms were quite small but sufficient for our requirements.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant staff and the cleanliness and comfort of facilities.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pretty gardens - well situated for town and estuary - good breakfast - comfortable bed - airy room (it was good to be able to open window wide in hot weather).
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good for the price
Cons: they use a code to get in the front door and rooms, this never worked and we had to keep calling for them to let us in which took between 15 and 30 minutes each time. It wasn't just us there were a number of guests waiting each time. We mentioned this to the duty manager, who didn't seem to care or even apologise.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location for visiting various Normandy places of interest. All you need for a self catering break. Lovely marina, shops, restaurants etc nearby
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy access to the beach and the town. Shops were an easy walk from the property. Cabourg has a lovely high street with shops, restaurants and bars.
Cons: Only one plug socket in the kitchen made it difficult to have tea and coffee.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We arrived out of reception hours only to find no porter present to let us in. The code given for the security key box on my booking confirmation was wrong and had to rely on the local police who happened to be patrolling to gain contact with the hotel to let us in! Quite stressful as you can imagine. Beautiful location, although nothing was open including local restaurants and shops. I understand it is like this until August.
Cons: Contact phone numbers in the lobby window were useless so after hours contact was not possible.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing. Beautiful view across habour. Gorgeous walk across estuary to the a beautful stunnong sandy beach. Appartment big enough for family of 4 and i got 2 daughters 12 and 10 bit of a bathroom battle but not so bad. Dish washer and oven microwave helped keep costs down as expensive to eat out especially as pound weak against Euro. Lovely balcony views across harbour both morning and dusk a truely magnificent sight.
Cons: Reception only open few hours of the day. No bar. No snack bar or restaurant on site. Outside pool too cold.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location Pleasant but you definitely need a car. Out door swimming pool on the small side but with pleasant surroundings. Helpfull staff even if sometimes a bit abrut in the communication. Bread and croissant that can be ordered. Bed confortable enough. Large bathromm.
Cons: We had a one bedroom appartment on the ground floor with a view on to the little port which was nice enough BUT the paint was pealing off the walls, the furniture and decor is very out of date (looks like back in the 70's) and has not been very well maintained. The whole place could do with a serious refurbishment and coat of paint. However it is still good value for money if you spend your time outside and use the place only to sleep and eat on the balcony.
7.9 Good
Pros: location was perfect. Pool area good. Property needs updateing. Reception staff were very helpful. plenty of towels and bed linen.
Cons: apt needs updateing. needs apt painting throughout. needs new kitchern as it was outdated and in poor condition. a lot of things in the kitchern needed replaceing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was reasonably good. Fairly close to the town centre and beach. Nice walk along the promenade to Cabourg where there are plenty of restaurants.
Cons: Property was MUCH smaller than expected and badly in need of an update. Poor decoration, scruffy patio area, etc.
7.5 Good
Pros: loved location. lady in charge of reception very helpful. indoor pool lovely and clean. accommodation needs upgrade.
Cons: accommodation needs upgrade.
7.1 Good
Pros: Small but okay kitchen.
Cons: We booked a house/apartment for 4. Based on the photo material, expectation was a larger facility but in reality place was small, 2 bunk beds, one queen and 4th bed was actually the couch in the middle of the room. So in my opinion more a place for a family with 2 kids; not for 4 adults.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: NOT A LOT FAR TOO SMALL FOR FAMILY OF SIX
Cons: AS ABOVE WOULD NEVER HAVE BOOKED IF I HAD REALISED THAT THE OVERALL FACILITIES WERE ALL SO SMALL
