Hotel Doolin’s village streetscape consists of a boutique style hotel with 17 deluxe bedrooms, Cullinan's Guesthouse, Piper's Chair Houses, Glas Restaurant, Fitz’s Pub, Stonewall Café & Wood Fire Pizzeria. Fitz’s pub is famed for its live music. Hotel Doolin features elegant bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, TVs and free Wi-Fi. Doolin is set on the edges of the Burren National Park, and the 213 metre-high Cliffs of Moher form the hotel's backdrop, making it an ideal location for exploring the local landscape. The hotel offers a tourist information centre. It is a 3 minute walk from the lively centre of Doolin and 10 minutes’ drive from Lisdoonvarna, Ireland's only spa town. Pros:Had a less than ideal stay at a hotel in Belfast the night before and gave it a bad rating. Here's what I wrote at the end of that review: "The next night I stayed at the hotel Doolin near Galway. Walked to my room, given a newspaper, asked if I needed a wake up call, given a free drink at the bar, breakfast included, plenty of parking, a beautiful clean modern lobby and a wonderful bed, all for less money. The contrast was remarkable..." Absolute pleasure to stay at Doolin.
Cons:Nothing. Fantastic place.
Pros:There are several B&B nearby, but this offers a nice alternative. Connected to a restaurant and pub and with a nice lobby area, good alternative if the weather isn't good. Not quite walking distance to other pubs, but a very short drive on a very quite road, these are still good options.
