Pros: Laima is an amazing host, her place is beautiful and has all the facilities
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Bed was perfect! Roses at the house were the most beautiful I have ever seen!
Pros: Perfect place,friendly staff
Pros: Peace and quet
Cons: Bad quality roads to access
Pros: The location was perfect for our short getaway - beautiful landscape around, chilling and swimming options on the property. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast on the terrace. The room and shared bathroom were sparkling clean. Great and welcoming host.
Pros: Every detail was thought about, down to tissues at the bedside and slippers at the door! The soap parabene free! Wonderful opportunity to swim in a natural pool 10 steps from the house. In the common kitchen there was a fridge with freezer, and a dishwasher, and even a Microwave oven. Drive from main road to house ca 7 km on a country gravel road but basically easy to find. Very nice place!
Cons: Coffee filter or coffee machine would have been nice, but there was a can to boil water, so big deal...
Pros: The landlady, Liama, was friendly, but not over the top. Her and her husband make practically everything between them - the accommodation, the honey, jam, cakes, their own wine. The property is beautiful, peaceful and there are many places to sit and enjoy the tranquillity. You can hire a bike and ride down the country lanes, or walk into a vast meadow where you can glimpse elk and deer and birds. Just beautiful
Cons: Nothing. The place is heaven!
Pros: Very kind and hospitable property owners. It is old house but inside it has been recently renovated, everything is clean and tidy. Wi-Fi works fine. Breakfast was excellent and generous. Located in the middle of the forest to enjoy nature and silence. 100% recommended.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: I wholeheartedly recommend Laima & her family's homestead. It's all a treasure of a find! The guest accommodation is perfectly modern, the homestead genuinely rustic, the surrounding wildflower fields and lake are a balm for the soul and the national park, old Liv settlements and beachline are uniquely special. Laima is an impressive hostess and wonderful woman, generous and warm, who went out of her way to help me when I was sick and make my stay so memorable.
Pros: We liked the very nice furnitured rooms, the great garden. We enjoyed delicious homemade and selfgrown food. Furthermore Liama was so kind and helpful. The area was great and peaceful. We had such a nice stay.
Cons: There is nothing we didnt like while staying with Laima.
Pros: Response, hospitality, memories, the.facilities and closeness to the sea.
Cons: I had nothing to dislike
Pros: This was our second time in Pitagi. Very friendly and helpful owner. Clean and cozy cabins. Set in little village amidst pine forest 500m from sandy beach it’s definitely place for romantic nature lovers.
Pros: Very beautiful place!
Pros: Supercozy, comfortable, fantastic view from windows and close to seaside.
Pros: Beautiful spot surrounded by nature and walking distance from wide empty beaches of white sand on the Baltic Sea which was perfect temperature-wise in August and not too choppy. We had a fire pit and barbecue for our own personal use at the well-equipped cottage. The manager was very responsive -- supplying us with a football for our 9-year old upon request, fresh towels every day and even arranged horsebackriding on the beach for me. A perfect holiday.
Cons: The photos on booking.com are not neccessarily reflective of the cottage one has booked. This caused my husband some consternation at first, but the cottage we were allocated was exactly right for us so the disappointment was short-lived.
Pros: Good barbecue place, furnished and very useful place.
Cons: Beds :)
Pros: Great location in the middle of "nowhere". We had rented a car in Riga, so we were able to go for shopping/dinner to Kolka or Mazirbe. Very nice accommodation with a fire place and beautiful view into the woods from your bed! Close to a fantastic beach with absolutely noone around.
Pros: Fantastic place, ideal for those who is tired of big city noise. Hidden in the woods, far from big roads and crowded places. You can make your own fire by the house and watch the shooting stars at night. Or prepare your own barbecue. Or make fire in-house at fireplace. Beach is endless with just a few people. Smells of forest and pine trees are remarkable. The hostess is very friendly. If off-season, you can negotiate delicious breakfast, even with high season we managed to get it.
Cons: Beware mosquitoes
Pros: It was a cute little cottage in the woods. Very peaceful and quiet. No tv just nature. Wifi was good, we didn't drink the water but a large bottle of water was provided. The bed was big and comfy
Cons: The bathroom was a large room with sink ,toilet and shower. So when you took a shower everything was wet.
Pros: We stayed in Patigi while walking the Baltic Coast Trail. It is a tourist complex with several bungalows of different sizes spread out over a large forested terrain. The bungalows are comfortable and well furnished. Our bungalow had two apertments in it (each apartment half of the bungalow). But there are also smaller stand-alone bungalows. We had a kitchen and a living room with a dining table and a working fireplace on the ground floor. There were two bedrooms and the bathroom on the second floor. The place was quite cozy. It was not a sterile hotel room, but it looked “lived in” (i.e. there were lots of books on the bookshelves etc.) I say that in a good way, not in a negative way. There is no formal restaurant in the complex, but we had called them in advance to arrange that they would cook dinner and breakfast for us, which was served in our own bungalow. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Well maintained property. Beautiful view from the window. Clean and friendly priced. Very much recommended.
Pros: Building, views closeness to restaurant and cheese shop. They looked after our bicycles.
Cons: A bit disorganized
Pros: Beautiful castle.
Cons: Communication in English with receptionist wasn't possible
Pros: Super room. The bed was so so comfortable did not want to get out of it in the morning. The ghosts In the middle of the night was super.
Cons: On arrival the place was all locked up. Had to ring the number on booking.com but no answer. Found a local number on a notice pinned to a door. Only to be told that had no bookings that night staff came and opened up. While we were booking in another family of 4 arrived that also had booked. So much for no bookings that night. Think they need to get paper work correct as it would cause distress to some customers. All other aspects were outstanding and superb
Pros: We got the Barons' room with amazing view to the park. It was a beautiful room with truly comfortable double bed, nicely placed furniture and spacious closet. Everything was clean and really well maintained including kitchen and other common areas. The staff was welcoming, friendly and ready to go an extra mile just to make our stay even more pleasant. There was nothing we had to worry about regarding our arrival time as we arrived quite late in the evening - staff gave us recommendations regarding where to head for breakfast, what to visit e.t.c. Truly enjoyed our stay and felt the great vibe of living in an old castle! Definitely will return as there are many nice places to see near by Dundaga.
Cons: There was no such thing that wouldn't satisfy.
Pros: Very cool place with nice and interesting surroundings. Castle itself is interesting and beautyful and also garden. Nice little quiet town.

Pros: Amazing sauna, great food and a nice quiet beach
Pros: The place, the restaurant, the kindness of the staff
Cons: Water evacuation was not working
Pros: House was very large - meant mostly for sauna parites - very wide sitting area. Bedrooms were upstairs. Handmade very large beds. Many board games available. Lots of space. Nice sitting area outside. Very close to beach. Lots of activities for children - playgrounds, animals/poultry. Fireplace outside. Extra playground outside. Restaurant at the same spot - very comfy.
Cons: Staircase to bedrooms was difficult for minor children. No curtain in front of ceiling window. No wifi even it was in the description. Maybe not the coziest place for the family.
Pros: Fantastic location by the sea and such a fascinating place with different type of houses to stay in and a very good restaurant on site!
Pros: Perfect and warm Welcome at the reception, nice and friendly Boys Captains Suite was perfect, nice View over the Sea, Clean Room -maybe possible to fix an switch when entering the room
Cons: Staff at Bar, dont know why but the Family and myself at our Table didnt get served or ask for food or drinks. First if i ask at the bar if it self service or whats the problem why we didnt get recognized they try to do something. Ask for Breakfast days before, but i didnt take it anymore Thank you
Pros: We wanted a bigger space than the barrel houses and an ensuite. Since there was no other choice we picked this themed room. It could have been lovely by the seaside but it was very cramped (3 mt wide bed occupied whole room) and dark. An unusual idea.
Pros: Perfect surroundings - beautiful sandy beach and pine woods, as well as small nearby river (Melnsilupe). The room itself was a little bit small, but very cosy, well equipped, good design. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good cuisine at the restaurant. A variety of sports available at the place - kayaking, biking, table-tennis, etc.
Cons: Some of the waiting staff at the restaurant seem to pretend to be busier than they actually are;)
Pros: Really great place, great personal.
Cons: there is no sound insulation at all. The people in the next room could understand what we are talking about.
Pros: Very nice place, personel So kind. Lokalization Perfect. A lot of atractions to spend the Best Holidays. One can choince if he would like to sleep in the barrel on the seashore,in the bunker partly underground, in the thematic cabins or in the comfortable Captain 's apartament. This place is situated in the National Park, So one can spend time near the Wild nature. If You are loking for something other then simply hotel it is the place for You.
Pros: Sauna in the house, plenty of wood, 2mins walk to the sea, beautiful empty beach, white sand, play areas for kids, lovely staff. It’s brilliant!
Set in Dundaga, Viesu Nams Jūras sapņi features a garden and terrace. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Pope is 40 km from the guest house.
Pros: Very nice and helpful owner of the place. Cute wooden house, surrounded by the symbols of the ancient Balts. Great location!
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They gave us lot of information and directions around the area. The guesthouse has a nice garden. The room was quiet and we had a good sleep.
Cons: Bathroom was small. Furniture and interieur a bit outdated.
Pros: Spent evening in shared balcony with a view to the lake. There is an interesting little park literally in the backyard.
Cons: The bed was noisy.
Pros: Great value for money, cheaper than some campsites we have been in. Interesting use of wallpaper. Lovely hot shower ( important after day on bike). Good to have access to kitchen. Short walk to Dundaga Castle and town centre. Nice place to visit.
