Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel

Great central location.

There was a damp smell in our apartment, particularly in one of the bedrooms. Luggage storage was up some stairs but not secure in that anyone could take someone else's belongings. A bathmat should be provided.

Perfect value for money. Located centrally. Second time I've stayed there. Would definitely go again.

Floorboards in room a bit creaky so noisy when I moved around. Not sure if this disturbed anyone else. That was my only concern and it was that I might be disturbing others. Otherwise great place.

great location for the fringe very central, helpful staff, decently sized room

bathroom could have been cleaner and shower booth needs replacing. overpriced given the bathroom is shared across multiple rooms as this is student accommodation. i got identical accommodation for the following night just up the road for quarter the price and newly renovated bathrooms!

Handy location for the city centre and within easy walking distance from the station and bus and tram stops.

Very noisy from outside the building. Would be good to be able to choose a room away from the street side if possible.
