good value in heavy tourist season; very friendly and helpful staff; spacious room; comfortable beds; great shower; easy access; nice kitchenette; inviting pool for children
Great location, grounds peaceful beautifully done with benches, flowers, picnic tables, pool and jacuzzi were nice ,kitchenette stocked with all we needed , great free coffee and super nice staff. It was a great choice and so reasonable compared with the other hotels. I would go there again Carpet old and stained, deadboltock needs replacing
the location of the hotel is great. the amenities in the hotel are old. The carpet is very dirty. The sink and kitchenette is right next to the bed. The toilet was clogged.
Super clean, Super cute. Breakfast area a bit cramped?
This place is amazing! It is an experience, not just a stay. By far the best deal in town. The 50s furnishings and contemporary works by local artists all add to the unique flavor of this place. Have never written a Kayak review, but was so pleased by our stay, I had to write!
Me and the girlfriend wanted a weekend getaway on a budget, and we saw the Holiday Music Motel was very well reviewed. After taxes, it was just over $50 for a one night stay. When we checked in, we got upgraded from a Queen to a King bed. The room was great! Spotless! They have a handbook of all the local restaurants in the room with updated menus! There was no iron in the room, but a quick trip to the lobby, and I was able to get my hands on one. The breakfast was tasty, with lots of muffins, donuts, danishes, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. I enjoyed the above-average selection of various teas. I can't wait to stay there again! The breakfast area was small and there weren't any chairs available, so we ate on the couch in the lobby. The heater was also acting up and wouldn't go lower, and was stuck on 78 degrees. We spoke to the front desk who managed to turn it off, and we opened a window, and turned the fan on, and it cooled off by the time we got back from dinner.
Hardest bed I've ever slept on.
Very clean, nice staff. Breakfast had a nice selection of food, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, muffins, pastries and toast. Loved the 50's furniture & atmosphere. Bed was VERY firm. I like to take my breakfast to my room and a sign in the kitchen asked patrons not to do that.
Rooms were clean and neat. Convenient location right off St HWY 42 small bath towels, cleaner used in rooms had an odd perfume smell. No lights on all all in the parking lot or even the sign at night. This would have made it tough to locate if it was your first visit.
Need to get parking lot lights fixed. Sign for hotel not on either. When your not familiar with location or area hard to find entrance.
Everyone was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. We got a lot for the money we paid. The indoor pool was a pleasant surprise. We had a relaxing, peaceful stay there. The location is also good as it is both easy to find and not too close to other buildings.
