8.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager was amazing able to accommodate us after I booked the executive suites by mistake for my kids. The beach is the best and most comfortable one on the Dead Sea. The hotel has many pools, and is very spacious. The kids club has many options for entertainment. The hotel is clean.
Cons: The spa treatment rooms are very cold. I left without finishing my last treatment because I was so uncomfortable. The beds are on the hard side unlike other 5 star hotels I stay. There is no heating in the rooms, so was cold at night. No option for people who need a low soft pillow to sleep. Before leaving the beach we were told by concierge they have towels at the lifeguard booth. So after we do the mud and wash ourselves at the Dead Sea, we found no towels. He said they never keep towels there. luckily, we bargained with the lifeguard and exchanged two towels for a little flirting offering my nanny as a date (made NO sense but We needed towels for the kids).
4.2 Okay
Pros: He Hotel is very fancy, new and stylish.
Cons: Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. The bottom of the pool is covered with black mold. I personally removed one cockroach from my dinner plate and a maggot from my orange juice. Staff is clueless and undertrained, the hotel does not have direct access to the water (other hotels do), and they nickel and dime everything, from Internet use to use of a baby crib. This place is not worth the money and is dangerous.

Pros: This is a convenient place to stay to visit the dead sea. You can take the shuttle to a private beach, bathrobes & towels are provided. The complimentary breakfast is varied and excellent. We were four men traveling together, but couldn't find any rooms with separate beds so we each took one room on the 8th floor.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Crowne Plaza Dead Sea - Ein Bokek - Bedroom
5
8.0 Excellent (6,025 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located far below sea level in the Ein Bokek area of Israel is the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea. A luxurious property tucked right along the water’s edge, it offers truly stunning views of the Dead Sea and the surrounding area. Gaze across the waters at Jordan or take in the scope of the landscape all around. Of course, you can also hop in your car and drive to such sites as Ein Gedi National Park, the famous Masada site created by the ancient King Herod, Karak Castle, and the many beaches that dot the water’s edge. A two-hour drive from Ben Gurion, it is also within easy reach of Eilat that sits along the shores of the Red Sea. However, this property is designed as a destination on its own and you can enjoy walking from one hotel to another, savoring the many shops and even eateries. Back at the hotel, you can enjoy the use of the two pools (one indoor and one outdoor), the hot tub, the fitness center, and activities like bowling, billiards, and volleyball, too. There is a spa with a saltwater pool, sulfur pool, and Dead Sea mud treatments. Amenities also include a business service center, free parking, daily housekeeping, and an array of dining options. There is a full, in-room dining option, a single on-site restaurant, a bar and lounge, and many top quality eateries within walking distance of the hotel itself. The rooms in the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea feature their signature Sleep Advantage options, including premium bedding, rooms in quiet zones, and wake up calls. Some of the rooms feature private terraces, but all are equipped with hot beverage systems, spa-like baths, Wi-Fi and lots of premium electronics.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Check-in took almost an hour, staff were not friendly, pool closed at 645pm, parking was full at the hotel so had to walk 0.5 miles in 115 degrees to park in an open dirt lot.

HI - Massada Hostel - Ein Bokek - Building
7
8.0 Excellent (2,519 reviews)
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Location if you want to hike up the snake trail early in the morning, close by to the bus station (2 minutes walk)
Cons: Staff (Daniel) was not friendly or welcoming at all, no help given whatsoever, for the reception as well as for the dinner. No one was available when I wanted to do an early check out at 5:30 am (the plan being to go on the snake trail for sunrise, like I guess 80% of their guests). I was told that you can basically check out between 8am and 10am, which kind of ruins the purpose of having a hotel close by to Massada if you need to come down very early without having the time to visit. No locker rooms available to leave your stuff, at some point a security guard told me to leave it in the hall !!? He reluctantly accepted to store it in their offices. Muddy footsteps in the shower, with two lousy shower gel portions available. Dinner is strictly between 6:30 and 7:30pm. It didn't feel like a hostel, more like a boarding room at an old lady with a cat place.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location to Masada, able to walk up Masada before sunrise and then watch the sunrise over the dead sea .
Cons: Room not clean and 4 school buses full of very loud children

6.0 Good
Pros: The food was great, and the spa is really good
Cons: Their beach was a construction site, it was terrible!!! Noisy and no facility want so ever! The reception staff had made a mistake and let in other guests into our room. When we came back we saw a staff member going through our staff to find out who was staying in the room 500 shekel went missing... They had charged us 18% extra for taxes - out reservation said it was all included. The security if the hotel said they will take care if the situation and investigate the theft and will let the manager of the hotel know of the situation. A day later the hotel manager had no idea of the theft and the security of hotel said they cannot investigate and they can't do a thing, the only people who can investigate thus is the police so we need to go to the police station to file a complain. That was a nice stay...

Cons: I cannot believe that this is rated as a 5 start hotel. The rooms are old and filthy. The staff, insanely rude and unfriendly. Imagine the front desk not saying good morning to you, or calling reception and hearing "Yea" instead of hello or your name. As if you are doing them a favor. The buffet is limited and extremely expensive. This hotel is for the older crowd to whom they are also rude.
9.1 Excellent

Pros: It was by the beach the food was ok the bed was huge
Cons: There was a band aid in my bed the dead sea had some pipe with a bunch of stuff flowing into it which was kind of gross they closed the pool super early
