the service was superb, food was excellent, rooms were nice and spacious there were some glitches in the room (loose screws in the bathtub, broken toilet flush) which i didn't expect in a hotel of that category; evening entertainment was only in Hebrew - but this was expected as almost all the guests were Israelis
location, food and weather
nice modern hotel, big beds, direct on privat beach, nice food all inclusive, staff not speak english, all inclusive alcoholic drinks are very bad, spa is too small for this size hotel, no mud only twices a week.
Hotel was a bit tired and needed an upgrade so I would rate it 75/100. But food unbelievably good and pool area and beach great Needs refurbishment in public area's but service and food great!
The nature with the mountains was great. The hotel is very close to the dead see. The entartainement is amaizing. To many people, especially in the restaurant.
Direct access to Dead Sea, large, comfortable room, all inclusive. The staff don't understand good enough English, some kind of information is completely missing, e.g. nobody could explain what kind of coctails and wines are served and from what kind of short drinks at the counter. A simple sheet of paper with an explanation in English would be enough.
nice beach right next to hotel, good food, entertainment very Russian few people spoke English
Dead see only
Location (beach), good swimming pool, all included, friendly staff Disrepair of the furniture
We really liked the fact that it was on the beach. The front desk manager was really nice. The room was very comfortable The check in takes very long not enough staff. The pool towels saw better days. The bathrooms and rooms had no facial tissues. Elevators took very long to get.
Staff quite arrogant, but except of this, quite good hotel... Staff
Very close to the Dead Sea and comfortable spa. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The lack of nightlife and entertainment after hours and the lack of food choices on the property itself.
Nice room No free WIFI and can only get from the lobby area, no restaurant in the area hotel buffet expensive
The hotel is verypleasant. The food served in the restaurante was very good. Almost nobody in this hotel spoke english. This hotel is only for local people as aforeigner cannot communicate with the staff.
Free SPA even on Thursday Cleanliness of the room to be improved. It's not very pleasant to find hair in your bed or in the bathroom tub
Nothing!!!! Everything!!!! Stay Away from this horrible place
Very good thermal facilities: Spa, Hammam, hot dead sea water pool sona... with free access to guests. Food is very good. People at the desk not very friendly.
That the hotel is situated very close to the beach and "town"center and that there is access to a SPA area. A good Good breakfast is also served. All in all it is a clean functional hotel, but you allso feel that it is the cheapest on the strip. The hotel needs a major renovation or face-lift. Also the staff could be more service minded. Opening hours of SPA area, beach area and pool are only till 18:00.Too expensive for what you get.
Comfortable, clean room. Beautiful Spa facility, friendly staff.
I do not know if they provide such variety every day (we stayed there just for one night, which happened to be Shabbat), but both dinner and breakfast we got there were the best compare to other hotels we stayed during our two-week trip all over the country.
What I liked best? Surely the swimmingpool/spa... as well as the wonderfull breakfast!!!! The location is good. I had a room with seaview, but I was a bit disappointed by the small window that gave view on the Dead Sea.
Very comfortable rooms, helpful staff, nce beach, excellent restaurant
Very tasty, comfort, nice place at all.
location, design, comfort, cleanliness, service
the food was very good sabbat dinner was lovely we had the feeling that you staff was not so happy ,and not feeled that they where part of a team
Nice view from high rooms Staff was extremely un friendly, if you get price in USD , you need to add about 10% as they charge in sequel according to their rate. Rooms are old, and entrance to SPA is for extra payment
The manager was amazing able to accommodate us after I booked the executive suites by mistake for my kids. The beach is the best and most comfortable one on the Dead Sea. The hotel has many pools, and is very spacious. The kids club has many options for entertainment. The hotel is clean. The spa treatment rooms are very cold. I left without finishing my last treatment because I was so uncomfortable. The beds are on the hard side unlike other 5 star hotels I stay. There is no heating in the rooms, so was cold at night. No option for people who need a low soft pillow to sleep. Before leaving the beach we were told by concierge they have towels at the lifeguard booth. So after we do the mud and wash ourselves at the Dead Sea, we found no towels. He said they never keep towels there. luckily, we bargained with the lifeguard and exchanged two towels for a little flirting offering my nanny as a date (made NO sense but We needed towels for the kids).
He Hotel is very fancy, new and stylish. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. The bottom of the pool is covered with black mold. I personally removed one cockroach from my dinner plate and a maggot from my orange juice. Staff is clueless and undertrained, the hotel does not have direct access to the water (other hotels do), and they nickel and dime everything, from Internet use to use of a baby crib. This place is not worth the money and is dangerous.
Location Staff are poorly trained, demotivated, rude, loud and inattentive to guests communications or requirements.
the hotel was located across the street from the dead sea The hotel staff was not friendly
I found the hotel, once again, to be exactly what I wanted: affordable, friendly with fine food and a fine bar.
Very comfortable hotel with excellent food and facilities. Staff were not the friendliest or most efficient.
very nice pool and clean rooms.I called for maintenese ane they showed up very soon. The pool closes at 6.30 in the afternoon.very early!!!
The proximity to the beach. The staff was responsive when we needed two beds in the room rather than 1 double. The staff in general had very limited English; Russian is the common second language. I was with a Hebrew-speaker so it wasn't a problem for me, but might be for some. They were however very nice.
Daniel Dead Sea Hotel is very beautiful with his bowling and his star-shaped swimming pool. We enjoy our holidays but it's pity than we booked a room for 3 days and we stayed only 2 since there was no place.
Didn't keep to there words in regards to Shabbat mode
Very bad all around
go home everything - awful hotel: old, impudent stuff on reception
Spacious rooms, perfect sea view, good food, modern, spacious and well maintained hotel, fast elevators, good massage in spa, excellent pool and pool area, friendly staff, good beach overcrowded spa are with smell of chlorine, pool worked only till 6 p.m. - would be ggod to have it working till later. Also we ordered 2 rooms via booking com but hotel ordering department overlooked the amount and prepared only one. However the mistake was quickly corrected and we got two very good rooms.
The staff was very attentive and spoke my native language( a plus). Spa facilities were nice. Nice pool area and longe. Spa facilities could have been cleaner.
beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. very good breakfast included in the price , nice swimmingpool . i will be back at this hotel on next future was not open the pub during the evening
Very poor facilities , tatty and old pool and spa overrun with people not pleasant Overrun dinning hall and swimming pool
Location, relaxation, food, good service, entertainment in the salon, beautiful facility, spa - nothing with the hotel, but we stayed 3 days, one day too long for the area but a good time of relaxation.
Views to Dead Sea Having to walk across to water Even though ample staff working at cleaning the equipment does not do work hallways and room despite being vacuumed were simply dirty left over of snacks and cockies on floor in room This is clearly lack of management care and attention
spa, rooms service very poor. Breakfast and diners chaotic. Waiters too relaxed, sending sms during work time etc. Reception poor, not helpful at all...
no children and no smoking and no cell phones
nothing...it was dirty and not comfortable specially the rooms, the food was horrible only the spa and treatments were great
The Spa itself Hard sell pushing Dead sea products on my arrival before getting into my room and calling it "seeing a doctor". Incredible noise and inescapable music even till 3 a.m.
secured environment and private beach. Clean room and nice breakfast. receiption's attitude could be improved.
I liked the free filtered water in the halls. The breakfast was great. The room was spacious and most of the staff friendly. I didn't like having to run around from station to station to get towells for the spa. I didn't like the 120 shekel dinner buffet. The price was about 50$ too high a night.
Friendly personnel, proximity to the beach and bus stop, reasonable price for the comfort and the quality of services. Excellent breakfast with wide selection of cheeses.
The Spa Club is a wonderfully relaxing spa hotel. No children means lots of quiet. There's a complimentary tea bar set up daily. The treatments were wonderful.
It was filthy inside and out. The attittude of the help was appauling. The place was dated and run down. The beaches filthy. I would not recommend this place to any one.
The Dead Sea is great. The Spa in the hotel is nice particularly the Thai Massage was really great. The food was good, breakfast and dinner, albeit the service was lousy. The pool is next to the road. The private beach was under construction with major noice interference and the two guards were extremely unfriendly and totally disinterested about guests and cleanliness. We had booked the hotel because we had expected to be without kids etc. Instead the pool and because of low days the dining room was combined with the Hotel Oasis therefore there was hardly any difference to any other hotel.
It was by the beach the food was ok the bed was huge There was a band aid in my bed the dead sea had some pipe with a bunch of stuff flowing into it which was kind of gross they closed the pool super early
I cannot believe that this is rated as a 5 start hotel. The rooms are old and filthy. The staff, insanely rude and unfriendly. Imagine the front desk not saying good morning to you, or calling reception and hearing "Yea" instead of hello or your name. As if you are doing them a favor. The buffet is limited and extremely expensive. This hotel is for the older crowd to whom they are also rude.
As for me, hotel is situated in rather quiet place and have good personnel. Despite this, room equipment looks bit old.
the pool area was dirty with articles floating in the pool...the wireless internet that was advertised was not working...the area in front of the hotel was dirty
Ok budget hotel. About 10 min walk to the beach (they have shuttle). Breakfast was good. Rooms were reasonably clean but don't expect anything special. Every hotel around Dead Sea is very expensive so this is probably the best deal for the money at the moment. If you want somthing nicer then be ready to spend way more money.
It was comfortable, but i didn't like look from a window (seaside would be perfect).
Room was clean and functional. Short walk to the beach. No drinks served - beer or wine at dinner.
The location was good (close to "downtown" shops and MacDonalds), the shower (always hot water), and the food (a wide range, including salads, at breakfast and dinner). The multi-lingual front-desk staff (mainly Max) were always helpful. This hotel caters mainly for Israeli Russians, so most of the guests and the TV channels are in Russian (or Hebrew) + a few movie channels. The only English news channel is Russia Today! The beds were rather hard, and the air conditioner worked but could not be regulated much. The hotel is nothing fancy, but as there is lots to see in the area of the Dead Sea, that was not a problem.
Hotel staff, facilities, location, symplicity and meals
room, staff of company hotels location, bad food
