Clean room, soft bed, hot water, friendly staff, and very quiet. I was lead to believe there was a free continental breakfast. There was not! The pool closed at 9:00 pm, way too early since the young children and their parents monopolized the pool and in the morning the pool members were doing laps. So I paid for these amenities and didn't get them. It was not really within walking distance of restaurants or shopping, It was at the total other end of Elmira. Next time I go to visit my Daughter in Elmira, I will stay at a less expensive hotel with- out a pool, but with a free breakfast! Very disappointed!
Location. It was where we wanted yo be and restaurants were very convenient. Price it cost what many 5 star hotels cost but did not have the extras or the quality of the amenities I expect from a 5 star hotel.
Breakfast was good and room was immaculate except it had only half a roll of toilet paper. Your website said there was a hot tub and there wasnt anymore. Pool was too warm for mid summer.
Room wasn't ready after have been Given key.
I cant say enough good things about this smaller place, but I very highly recommend a stay here if you find yourself in the area! The entire hotel was spotless, cozy, and very inviting, all members of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and all food provided was absolutely wonderful! Definitely highly recommended, and we will be staying here again when we are in the area. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
Good value - friendly staff. Had to leave before the breakfast was supposed to begin - was quite pleasantly surprised to see that everything was all set out 30 minutes early. Great start for the day! Nothing not to like!
The staff and manager are attentive to the needs of the guests. Especially the ones that are handicapped. The rooms are great with ample room even in a wheelchair. The coziness of the front porch gives a warm inviting feeling. Entering the building with a wheelchair was a challenge as there were no automatic doors or handicap assisted doors. The staff and manager more than made up for this as every time we entered or left they assisted us.
The late night staff was friendly/helpful. breakfast was ok. It could use updates. Everything looks old. Smells old. Bathrooms were super tight and shower heads were really low. Towels were old/super thin.
rooms where clean, and hotel was quiet and looks like some effort has been put into updating the rooms bathrooms very small, shower heads in showers are very low, towels are very stiff and non-absorbent. maintenance of rooms needs to be improved broken mirror, remote for dvd did not function, and fire doors on second floor were in the closed position and would not stay closed with magnetic closure.
It was convenient, and the staff was nice I booked a room with a King bed that was non-smoking. When I arrived, they had no non-smoking rooms with a King bed. I had to settle for two double beds, and they did not offer any compensation.
Seconds off the highway. Centrally located to Elmira-Corning-Ithaca. Restaurants, shopping centers, super market, nearby (some within walking distance). New TVs. Friendly staff.
The location was perfect...literally on the end of the Corning Glass Museum parking lot within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the room was a great size with great amenities for the price. I enjoyed the kitchen in the room!
We loved our stay here. It was right across from the Corning museum, staff was super friendly!! We loved the breakfast lady that morning (March 14th) and the room was very nice as well! Will be coming back in the future!! Only complaint is someone was stomping at 12:15am till 1:30am but that's not the hotels fault.
Room was very big and nice. The staff was very helpful. Check in and out was done quickly. Very noisy walls seem very thin.

This hotel was within walking distance to the shuttle stop for the Corning Museum, that was great as I have mobility issues. The suite was nicely sized for my wife and myself plus our two teenage sons. We all had enough space so that we didn't feel crampe Having to leave
Hot Breakfast was very good. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Disappointed in quality of mattress - very noisy. Also, wi-fi internet connection poor.
Clean They could have told us we could just go get on a bus for the museum. Also heard the breakfast person say to someone this is why she doesn't smile. Not something to say in front of guest. Made people feel like we were doing something wrong.
Wonderful Clean and very nice we had booked a King bed room and when we checked in they didn't have one. Just a Queen... The hotel is right next to the Corning Glass museum so it's super convenient. Long Long hallways and not enough King size beds
Breakfast, Swimming pool, dvd rental
Ask twice for trash pick up .all else was great !
Very clean, well appointed room. Nice hot breakfast. Great pool and hot tub. No
THE ROOM SIZES WERE EXCELLENT. PERFECTLY LAID OUT FOR PRIVACY. POOL OPEN TIL 10 PM WAS A TREAT. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF TERRIFIC GREAT LOCATION TO MUSEUM AND TROLEY SERVICE COOKIES AND AFTERNOON COCTAIL PARTIES ARE ONLY MON, TUES,WED. DISSAPOINTED ABOUT SAME. KIDS WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO HOT CHOCOLATE AND FRESH BAKED COOKIES.
Beds were very comfortable. Dinner food was reasonably priced and the restaurant had a good variety. Restaurant hours were very limited. Breakfast food was passable and restaurant service, in general, seemed disorganized. It was a busy weekend at the hotel and, at times, there was no one at the front desk! There should have been two people at the front desk on such a busy weekend.
The exercise room was clean. The staff was courteous. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet was too pricey for family at $10.95 per person. We did not eat at the hotel because of it.
No free Wifi unless you're a Hilton Honors member.
Fast reception. Room was clean neat and comfortable I didn't like that I stayed only one night
The housekeeping staff was hardly accommodating for our comfort. For example: they knocked on the door and woke us up on the morning we were supposed to check out (the Do Not Disturb' sign was still hangingon the door hand, to find out if we already did.
out of the 3 days there was a spider on the bed 1st day and centipede second day in the room. I brought it to their notice and 3rd day it was fine :)
We have stayed in several other motels nearby to the Elmira/Corning Fairfield Inn but this is the one we will return to! It was above and beyond our expectations in every way. We'll definitely be back! Thanks! Everything was positive.
The staff ! Jessica and Jessica, both of them, at the front desk were awesome. So much help in getting me moved when my a/c failed. Jessica #1 got me fans for until I could be moved, and they were a huge help. Just that the a/c in my first room wasn't working. Otherwise an excellent choice and value.
It was clean and cheerful. The bed was amazing - I slept perfectly the entire night. Nothing - it was a great experience

RE STAFF: The young woman overseeing breakfast was a delight. Shy but courteous, gracious and ever so welcoming. Convenient to restaurants etc. SURROUNDINGS: Practically in a Walmart parking lot. Not elegant but fine.
I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the attentive staff!

This is a very friendly hotel. The staff are very nice, the service is good. The bed is comfortable, the microwave and fridge is a big plus. We enjoy the free breakfast. We will certainly return in the future.
Easy access to and from highway, decent breakfast, friendly staff including cleaning crew I was traveling with a small child under the age of 2, parked my car outside of the entrance next to my room. Unloaded him, bags and dinner only to not have my key card work at the door. Had to load him and everything back in car drive to front entrance only to find out they activated it for 1 night only when I had already paid for 2. Very frustrating. Definitely not a kid friendly place due to the extremely loud patrons in the hallway (mainly construction/oil workers from out of state)
This hotel was convenient to Corning Museum, and the Bob Evans Restaurant was great without having to go back into Corning after a long days drive. It was all very good and met all of my requirements.
The great breakfast in the morning, it was nice not to have to worry about looking to find food in the morning. The choices were great, loved the eggs. the pool was very nice too. the lady at the desk could not help us with the price. when I asked her a question bout the rate she told me she will talk to her boss, nothing about getting back to me.
Friendly and helpful staff, and great location with easy drive to Corning Museum, Rockwell Museum and Market Street art & eateries. There is a supermarket right next door, handy if you just want to eat in.
The bedding was beautiful and clean. Lots of TV channels. Spacious. faint moldy smell in the room
Friendly Staff coffee in lobby 24 hours and snacks. N/A
Nothing. The woman up front was rude and smelled like BO and cigarettes. Our room wasn't much better. I paid for a queen, was thrown in a double. Stains everywhere. The smell of cigarettes was so intense, but this was supposed to be their non-smokers side. This place is absolutely disgusting.
This motel is old and not updated. It was clean enough and was okay for a one night stay.
The shower stall was very dangerous. It wobbled. I had to steady my self leaning against the wall. It was like I was floating. The room was dirty. I will never stay there again. The$50 dollar rate was too much. I've stayed at places for less money and had better accomodations.
Cheap Very old building...got what you paid for
You get what you pay for with this place. That's not a terrible thing. It's just a statement of fact. There was a Motel 6 less than a mile away but it cost nearly twice as much. The accommodations weren't bad by any means, just the least expensive available. The mattress wasn't comfortable.
location nothing good about any of it. Old, dirty, run-down. Not worth the money at any price.
I liked NOTHING about it!!! Poor motel! 12 cars in the parking lot at night and 36 to 48 rooms. No queen bed with non- smoking room. It is a dump!!! No renovations at the place for 6+ years. How does it stay open??? It is a front for foreign illegal activities??? DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
The Bed was uncomfortable. No water pressure in the shower. It was a nasty bathroom, mold in the tile grout. I didn't want to touch anything. Every time the heater came on, it made a loud clunk, so I didn't get any sleep at all. It was dirty and smelly and the WORST experience I've ever had in a hotel.
Good location, great price Room dated but clean. Restaurant closed and boarded.
The only good thing about this place is the close proximity to Watkins Glen. Old, run-down, dirty and smelly.
The price is about $20-40 less than local "name brand" alternatives. It was clean. This place is old and musty. If you're familiar with Red Roof Inn, prepare to be disappointed. "Clean" is the only positive I feel comfortable sharing. If you can't afford a hotel that's bright and remotely modern (built/refurbished in the last 20 years), you'll be fine for a night.
It really was clean. And right off the interstate. And cheap. "Breakfast include" (starting at 7) turned out to be coffee (none in room) and a prepackaged Honey Bun. At 7:30! : (
