Staff was friendly, they have wine-tasting on the property surrounded by vinyards, and the room was very large with a kitchen, very comfortable.

I was in Germany for business and I was at this hotel only because I couldn't find available rooms nearer to Frankfurt.The hotel was good for holidays but a bit too far from the exhibition.

No hairdrier available.

The parking was 18 euros a day which I think is a lot to ask for guests staying at the hotel.

Spend next to nothing, get everything you need in a room. No complaints.

I found food leftovers in the minibar and clearly visble dirt (a sort of white flakes with a diameter of approx. 4 mm) in the bathroom under the sink.Very discomforting to put it politely.

Very professional staff, beautiful hotel, clean, wonderful pool/spa area.

When we arrived, they only had one booking (instead of two booked rooms). They booked us directly themselves for the 2nd room. I hope that we are not charged twice for that room.

I liked the staff ,but no free breackfast inspite of high amount of mony . The river side was boring . Nothing to do .!!

The hotel was very conveniently located for our travel purpose. The room was clean & comfortable. The check-in personnel were very friendly & the breakfast buffet was great.

The location to the Frankfurt airport was excellent - only 15 minutes away and all autobahn. Also the hotel was right off the autobahn, but still quiet.

Parking was behind the hotel with no door to the back so you had to walk all the way around the hotel to the front door - this wouldn't be too bad except it was pouring rain!

This is our third stay at the hotel. The owner, Herr Schaefer, goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the restaurant prepares wonderful meals. It is a lovely setting on the river. There is free WiFi in the room.

Waking up late because the location inside a courtyard was so peaceful although a stone's throw from the Rhine and busy road and railway. The walk along the Rhine into town made it a bonus being just outside the centre. Good personal service. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast!

Bit of aeroplane noise

It was very close to the train station. You could walk to the main part of Mainz in a few minutes.

The convenience of the hotel to the old part of town , the rail station and to the airport.Enjoyed seeing old town and visiting areas close by.

Absolutely the best hotel in the region.

The size of the rooms, the beds and the breakfast. The SPA area is nice although the decor of the pool is a little kitsch.

The distance from the city centre (it's a 25 minute walk) and the fact that they did not clean our room.

We had an excellent time at the hotel. Frau Schmitt, the owner, was very helpful and we already miss the German breakfast that was served at the hotel, especially the German coffee. Highly recommend the hotel as it is located right in the middle of Hockheim.
