The small grounds with green grass, flowers, tables , chairs. My wife sat outside and looked at the stars. She said this place is loved, the thing she says of a place well cared for. The casino at the Remoda across the street with Wonderfull food. Where I lost some money. My wife won three hundred dollars.
I was going to stay at the Quinta but am glad I stayed here instead. The price was considerably cheaper and the property was simple, clean, and secure. Good value for money.
Clean and comfortable. Loved that it was pet friendly. ask for a room further from the hwy. The noise from traffic is pretty bad at the front of hotel.
The beds were very comfortable. The water pressure and quality in the shower was excellent. Everything was clean. The Quinton the beds was a nice homey touch. We were assigned a room nearest to the main highway. In feared it would be noisy all night but, it wasn't. The blackout window blind wouldn't meet in the middle without forcing it with a safety pin I happened to have with me.
The room was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. The bathroom was not clean. The Internet service was down. Mediocre effort to correct problem. Next shift was not made aware of problem. No coffee or breakfast offered. Office did not open until 7 AM so no ice available.
No complaints at all
Nice large rooms if you stay in the newer Non smoking section. Conveniently located. Housekeeping needs to do a better job vacuuming. It has been a while since they have thoroughly vacuumed especially behind the doors and around the edges of the carpet. This is the only reason that I did not give an excellent rating. my reservation was contengient upon Jailhouse agreeing to give us a room in the newer section. I have asthma and rooms in the older section cause me to cough. The clerk wanted me to pay an additional $15 when we checked in. It was only after I told him that I would find another place to stay, that he agreed to give us the room that we requested.
Located is the center of rural town Ely, NV, hotel provides easy access to the casino across the street and short drive to the "forgotten" Great Basin National Park.
The motel was very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone at the casino was as a pleasure to interact with. The food was good and we were pleased to receive a $2.50/person coupon for breakfast. The motel room was a bit shabby. I was under a false impression that it had been remodeled. The food in the cafe was a bit overpriced for being very ordinary. Good, but nothing special.
Very nice staff and clean rooms. I would stay here again. Had a lot of cool character in the décor. it was always pretty full of people staying here, whether it was people passing through or in town for baseball. That's a pretty good indication to me of how it is held.
Best accommodations in Ely. Resterant experience was excellent. Room was spacious & clean.
Smoke. From casino could smell in linens while sleeping. Towels were dingy white. See above
Staff from front desk to lounge & restaurant are very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We will return when we head South again. Needs an elevator for those of us that have trouble with stairs.
Staff was pleasant Horrible facilities. They put me in the ' annex ' with a beautiful room overlooking a seedy alley and a dumpster. I thought I was in a third world country. I was across the street from the main facility, paint was peeling on the exterior, just a terrible room for the money. Definitely not up to Ramada standards
There is nothing good to say about this horrible place! Booked a room for two nights. After spending a day at the county fair we returned to our room to find our personal items removed from the room and other guests luggage and a dog in our room. We had to fight with the manager to get our personal items back. There was not rooms available anywhere in town. We were moved to a different room that had a smaller bed and was dirty and disgusting. DO NOT stay here.
