Pros: Big room, clean, quiet, good breakfast, fairly good value. Some other reviews mention a bad smell in the corridor, it was slightly noticeable but definitely wasn’t overpowering or offensive. It kind of smelt like a mixture of old building and cleaning products.
Cons: No kettle in room. The building is a little tired and old. Nothing around the motel (no shops, cafes or attractions) but this might be a positive for some people. The restaurant was closed the night we were there (Sunday), we went into Nykobing Falster for dinner (10 min drive).

Pros: Our second stay at Höjmölle Kro, and we return for a reason. Superfriendly owners, great food and nice accomodation. The rooms are simple, but very functional and clean. All thumbs up!

Pros: Very close Gedser, 10 min by car and the ferry to Germany. 2 min from Gedser you also have Denmarks most southern point. Between Gedser and the Kro you have Denmark longest beach which also have been appointed to Denmarks best beach in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The rooms are clean and have good and comfortable beds. In the pub you have a lot of whiskey brands to collect from though the owner of the Kro, Kurt, is a real whiskey fan. Of course you also have danish beer.

Pros: Late check-in was no problem and the early breakfast worked well for our plans. The location was also great since it was a a crossroads of two routes which made this a great central location for us.

Pros: We with our dog were expected here. I was struck by the cleanliness of the room, comfortable beds, friendly attitude of the hostess. We were surprised by the delicious breakfast. In addition, we really enjoyed walking with our dog around the hotel. I strongly recommend staying here to relax on the way from Sweden to Germany. We’ll definitely do this again with pleasure.

Pros: Really practical to access to via the road. We were traveling from one edge to the other of Denmark, and this motel was ideally located for a quick night stop. Everything was very clean and nice : ) !

Cons: Our room was close to the social area of the motel which made our stay a bit loud. But nothing that some earplugs couldn't solve.

Pros: We absolute loved it. Its a perfect place to get some rest. Beautiful charming house with everything that you need. Spacious and clean and you feel directly in place and at home. Also a lot to discover for kids. They have toys, a playgarden and chickens wich the kids loved.

Pros: Huge, safe car parking lot - car just outside room exit door. Warm, friendly staff, gave good advice. Fantastic breakfast, with lots of home made dishes, directly from the farms. Nice artwork, paintings on corridor walls. Artistic actually. For us Swedes, the handful of genuine Swedish TV channels were a great plus, and of course the English speaking news channels also. Dog enjoyed the spaciuos lawns surronding building. We had booked ground floor, and we got it. Means 2nd separate door onto car parking area. Situated almost directly on the highway to Gedser (ferry port to Germany).
Cons: A/C missing. Otherwise perfect accomodation, calm and quiet.

Surrounded by a lush garden, this intimate hotel is only 50 metres from the Guldborgsund Strait waterfront. It offers a traditional restaurant and individually furnished rooms. The compact rooms at Hotel Liselund feature cable TV and a private bathroom. Danish cuisine and international dishes are served at Hotel Liselund’s restaurant. Afternoon coffee and evening cocktails can be enjoyed in the pretty garden. The scenic walking and jogging trails of the Hamborgskoven Forest are just around the corner. Free parking spaces are found next to Hotel Liselund.

Cons: The hotel does not like Asians, Africans, Australians and Americans, North or South. It adds a surcharge to any credit card that is not European, even though it certainly pays the same or a similar fee on cards from Sweden, Switzerland or Spain. Won’t stay again.

Pros: It was pouring rain and late when we got there so we’re were very glad to get there. Right away we loved the place. Our room was very cute and inviting. We could use the kitchen to make a tea and the commons room was also sweetly decorated. There was also wine and local beers that were nicely presented and you could buy from the fridge. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also very cutely done and really tasty. I really liked staying there. I also liked the manor estate feel that the B&B was on if it wasn’t so wet I’d have been in the garden the whole time.
Cons: If I wanted to nitpick on improvements, maybe the welcome letter could be updated. There was no freezer we could find that was mentioned and after a bit of searching we found the shed for bicycles that was also mentioned but it was locked and the grounds people were gone for the day. So the bikes were out all night in the rain. Since the stay was so nice I forgot about it in the morning.

Pros: Everything aside from the Wifi. Yes, it takes some time to get to, but it's well worth it and has exceptional value. If you purchase the breakfast package (which is also worth it), the morning eat is quite good--worth the price.
Cons: The open Wifi is slow to connect and may not work very well at first or for some things. I still managed to get Netflix to load a series in decent quality after a while though.

Cons: We got confirmed that we would get two single beds, but got a very small double bed. Bed linen and towels had to be rented but because of the wrong room were not charged, still I found the hotel quite expensive for what we got. Also the room to securely place bicycles was very small and inconvenient (all bikes to be removed to get to the last one).

Pros: Stayed here 2 nights with family, a small child and a dog. We were very happy with the location, the amenities and the helpful staff. There's lots of room outside for a walk and it's a nice and quiet area. The breakfast buffet was really good with different kinds of cereal and bread, yoghurt and even waffles. I would definitely reommend a stay here.
Cons: One mattress needed a good cleaning and the curtains were a bit worn.

Pros: Good choice for a stop-over, for example if you are taking the Puttgarden train ferry the next day. Convenient location - 15 minute walk from the train station. It was nice to be able your own coffee / tea. There was also beer available for 10 DKK. Very quiet and roomy. Jørgen is a friendly host!

Cons: The room is in the basement, and although there is plenty of heating, the floor was very cold (in winter). Bring slippers! There is no tea kitchen. There is a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, but no sink or stove, or any other means to make or heat a simple meal.

Pros: Our host was nice and the room was big! The location is super: next to the sea where you can see the sun going down. Internet worked well. The price is a bit on the high end when looking only at the room and its luxuries, but the location made this a good place for the price.
Cons: The room has a lot of props and gadgets which are hard to clean, so a lot of dust hanging around. Also some glasses in the little kitchen were not used that often and collected some visitors.

Cons: Only money in hand is accepted, but voucher wasn't provided. The room is in the cellar with a smell of mold which isn't suitable for a person with breathing problems. Bathroom had strong smell of mold, although it looked clean. The owner said that dogs cannot jump in the bed, even we had the blankets for them. We asked to get the breakfast in the garden, next to kitchen, but the owner didn't agree because they had already put all on the kitchen table. The kitchen was hot, would had been nicer get the breakfast in garden, also because we couldn't leave the dogs alone in the room or put them in the car because too hot weather, so we decided only one of us enjoyed the breakfast and then drove quickly away.

Pros: I don't think I ever stayed in such a nice place before. The location was great, the view spectacular, the facilities clean and modern, and the hosts were great. If you're going to the Nykøbing-Falster area, I would recommend this place. I don't think anybody can top it in any way.

Pros: We are travelling the bycicle-route „Berlin-Copenhagen“ and have overnight stops every 70 to 80km. Last night we had a very pleasant stay at the Aloe Vera Gardens B&B, which is about 3km distance from the main cycling route Berlin-Copenhagen. We really liked the warm, clean, cozy and good equipped room, where we had a quite and peaceful stay. The hosts were very friendly and have prepared a very good breakfast we could take to the room with a big basket. Also we had a garage, where we could leave our bycicles close to the room. We can really recommand this nice place!

Pros: We stayed there for a few days adter arriving with the ferry from Rostock and before moving on further north into Denmark. Very relaxing! The environment is quiet and rural. We enjoyed the large outdoor/Garden area. Don't miss the breakfast: it was excellent, nicely packed in baskets with a choice of bread, sweet and salty toppings, cereal, juice, joghurt etc. There is a large common room and a shared kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Our room also had a small kitchenette. The place is great for an overnight stay but also for several days.
Cons: Can't really complain about anything. The TV in our room was in an odd location, very high up on the wall and not really in good view from neither the bed nor the sofa.

Pros: So the Location wasn’t right in the middle of town but it is a great place. The lady of the house was more than friendly so that you felt you were more of a private guest than just a hotel guest. The place was very clean it had all you needed too in the commons room to make you feel at home at the room was nice. Then came the breakfast this was beyond great it was made with care and attention delicious and very cutely packed. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Pros: Big room, clean, quiet, good breakfast, fairly good value. Some other reviews mention a bad smell in the corridor, it was slightly noticeable but definitely wasn’t overpowering or offensive. It kind of smelt like a mixture of old building and cleaning products.
Cons: No kettle in room. The building is a little tired and old. Nothing around the motel (no shops, cafes or attractions) but this might be a positive for some people. The restaurant was closed the night we were there (Sunday), we went into Nykobing Falster for dinner (10 min drive).

Pros: Our second stay at Höjmölle Kro, and we return for a reason. Superfriendly owners, great food and nice accomodation. The rooms are simple, but very functional and clean. All thumbs up!

Pros: Very close Gedser, 10 min by car and the ferry to Germany. 2 min from Gedser you also have Denmarks most southern point. Between Gedser and the Kro you have Denmark longest beach which also have been appointed to Denmarks best beach in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The rooms are clean and have good and comfortable beds. In the pub you have a lot of whiskey brands to collect from though the owner of the Kro, Kurt, is a real whiskey fan. Of course you also have danish beer.

Pros: Late check-in was no problem and the early breakfast worked well for our plans. The location was also great since it was a a crossroads of two routes which made this a great central location for us.

Pros: We with our dog were expected here. I was struck by the cleanliness of the room, comfortable beds, friendly attitude of the hostess. We were surprised by the delicious breakfast. In addition, we really enjoyed walking with our dog around the hotel. I strongly recommend staying here to relax on the way from Sweden to Germany. We’ll definitely do this again with pleasure.

Pros: Really practical to access to via the road. We were traveling from one edge to the other of Denmark, and this motel was ideally located for a quick night stop. Everything was very clean and nice : ) !

Pros: Friendly staff, no problems with arriving late. Very close to the motorway. Good breakfast, for my taste perfectly boiled eggs.
Cons: Our room was close to the social area of the motel which made our stay a bit loud. But nothing that some earplugs couldn't solve.

Pros: Easy acces from the motorway. Spacious room. Easy to walk the dog. Enough parking space when travelling with a trailer. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The corridor smelled bad. A bit pricy compared to similar places on the German side
