I go to Casper for business about once a month & I usually stay at one of the bigger chains - mostly for the points. But due to a convention, those were booked. my Mom & Dad tried the Comfort Inn the last time they were traveling through Wyo & said it was nice. I reluctantly booked it. My snobby attitude could not have been more wrong! It was nice, new & really comfortable! I slept like a baby!! Thanks!
The hotel was very clean and fresh, the staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The only thing that needs some work is the breakfast food. The breakfast food could be better and another walfle maker would be great as the line was very long.
Anyone with small kids know the value of room to move in a hotel breakfast area. This place has it!
The breakfast and the service at breakfast.
The staff are very hospitable! Bed was comfortable but pillows too bulky. Temperature was perfect. Very quiet HVAC unit. Short-staffed. Not enough bathroom for the amount of conference attendees. Conference food and water weren't replenished quickly. Conference chairs were uncomfortable. Seating was too crammed and crowded. Too small space for a large group. Need tables to sit stuff down. My quiet room isn't so quiet. There's a family with baby near by, but didn't keep us up ay night. Building seems old but remodeled interiors.
Draft coming through steel door that was leading to outside.door was locked up so it should be bricked in to stop draft .rooms need to be remodeled
I like everything. It was nice.. Thare Wasent anything I didn't like..
Room was clean Having to park on the other side of the Hotel due to the fact that your snow removal was sub par!
Found condom wrappers under bed. Breakfast buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, tater tots, & then the regular cereals, bagels, &donuts.
Lady that worked in kitchen was great!!
Everything seemed fine and clean. The staff was very nice. very hard beds
The price was good The first room smelled like smoke. The second room they moved us to smelled like nasty chemicals. Not a great place to stay.
The room was clean and truly smoke free. I wish that they would have a better comforter set on the bed.
I think when they finish their remodel it will be nicer . I would stay here as last resort. Or press on to Rawlings or stay in Gillette,Wy I didn't link the hammering until 10 at night, and didn't rumble and shaking vibrations of my room until 11 at night. I was told to park in the back then they blocked it off to replace the parking lot surrounded my truck in piles of black top. Just didn't feel like there was good counication between the company and the construction workers in what they are doing and what areas are affected.
No pool for adults.
Friendly, helpful staff Bed was not comfortable and the card keys didn't work for either room the second night.
The beds were soft and the tv was nice and big. The bathroom had been redone recently. By far the best water pressure in a shower I have ever had in a hotel. Silly I know but I was so nice! The pool wasn't really for adults but my daughters Loved it and I felt comfortable knowing they could touch the bottom every where in the pool. It only went up to 3'6. The lady a check in was very rude. She was more worried about rushing me threw check in to actually take time to nicely explain where my room was and what not. I was the only guest at the counter at the time so her Rush was unnecessary. The door in our room was hung crooked and had a large gap at the top so I could hear everything that went on in the hallway threw out the night which woke my kids and dogs up quite a few times!
Painfully uncomfortable beds and pillows. Insufficient bedding without cranking the thermostat.
The hotel really is amazing! The breakfast is the same everyday but it still has several items to choose from. My family loved the hot tub and pool areas and feeding the fish. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family. The pull out sofa beds are literally wrapped in a huge piece of plastic-not a mattress cover-it was loud and made the bed hot. Also housekeeping did not give us more shampoo and conditioner after the first night-something little but something I expect.
Great Character, convenient locations, comfortable rooms. The layout is really great, we had 2 first floor rooms next to each other and could meet on the pool side exit where there were tables for us to share and visit. Keurig in the rooms was a great.
We have stayed in Casper numerous times on our from Montana and this is the best hotel we have stayed in. The front desk staff were a little rude.
Very clean, and multiple hottubs The bed was uncomfortable. Was sore for two day because bthe bed was way too soft. Other then that this hotel is awesome
Pool, balconys and breakfast. Nothing
Very nice resort-like accommodations! Better than expected... Very nice surprise to see multiple spas, each with decorative stone like privacy. The spas were great to relax out the tiredness of traveling. Excellent rooms. Very refreshing!
I felt for the money it work out for us very well. . The Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. it was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. The location and the parking
Friendly staff Dirty. Smelled like smoke
Great front desk help along with great advice on where to get a good beer and burger. Thinner walls allowed a little noise but for great price rooms were clean and decent.
The staff The room was filthy (carpet was dirty, room was non smoking, but you could cut the smoke smell with a knife. Limited eating facilities in the are. Too many pets on premises. The walls between rooms were paper thin.
Breakfast Signage. Air not working. Too many long term oil, workers stay there. Not family friendly.
There was nothing good about this Hotel The hotel was unorganized, very dirty, and we were moved to two different rooms before being able to get a key that worked. There were others that www moved to 4 rooms before getting their key to work.
None of the above was a dump
It was quiet, comfortable bed, quick to help with television problems The pool was under construction, no milk with the breakfast (delivery delayed due to highway closures across the state), front desk was unattended all 3 times I entered the lobby.
quiet place a lot of shady people hanging outside the door the pool was closed breakfast was not good
close to interstate but yet still very quiet as far as road noise. Two restaurants connected or next door. good value for the price. has a breakfast with hard boiled eggs. desk personnel helpful. If your use to staying at the Ritz or even a holiday inn then this is not the place for you. they don't fix it up because the nasty oilfield people will just trash it. to many oilfield people that look like escaped convicts. not a fridge in every room. would be nice to have better cable TV.
Room was clean Many shady people around and entrance doors to building could not be locked.
My advise is that the motel should be closed!
Clean, friendly, comfortable and a reasonable value for your money. The Bistro / Bar was only OK stocked and the staff was limited somewhat in what they could prepare for your "after a hard days travel cocktail". Again, nothing that would send you away screaming. While the new Denny's was open next door for a real meal it would have been nice to have had something available in the morning complimentary. Nothing big just the usual fare you find in other establishments of the same caliber.
My room was clean, comfortable, and very attractive. Loved the shower! It was so great after a day of traveling! The staff was nice, parking was good. Beds were excellent! We did not do breakfast at the hotel. I would have preferred a contental breakfast, but there was only a bistro in the lobby....to purchase breakfast.
The complimentary hot breakfast was really good. A great selection and the quality was terrific. Not a thing. I highly recommend this hotel!
It was clean with lots of extras-teas and hot chocolate, four bath towels without having to ask, a lovely seating area in the lobby, and a great breakfast!
room was very nice, clean, and staff was good. Excellent breakfast. Our room was right above the entrance and I could hear people coming in during the late evening. The room was a handicap room and needed shower chair.
We arrived late so the young lady was a little unfriendly but the rooms were great.
Large room, friendly staff, and good breakfast.
The breakfasts were amazing and there were a lot of amenities: free wifi, free bottled water, and a free snack bag. The breakfasts changed everyday and were very great. They had a wide variety of food. I would rate this hotel much higher. The carpet was wild colors, but that is very small.
The breakfast was the best ever and they even cooked bacon just because our daughter asked for it, extremely nice front desk help. We will stay her again The pull out couch bed was extremely thin and uncomfortable. They need to replace the mattresses as our daughter found it impossible to sleep.
Staff was friendly and efficient Hotel is busy due to oilfield crews. Normal noise, disruptions and behavior accompany these types of people. Room smelled of smoke. Price was very high due to the influx of oilfield workers and the ability of the hotels to charge much higher rates. Best advice that I can give is to keep driving and avoid these areas below Buffalo, Wyoming past Wheatland, Wyoming or prepare to pay twice as much for a fair to mediocre hotel room. If you absolutely HAVE to get stuck there, you had better book early or you may find yourself sleeping in your car!
Clean and comfortable No shampoo,1 washcloth for 2 people. Was told that the only way the prices could be kept low was ro charge guests for wi-fi and if I wanted it free I should have stayed at the Hilton.
Location No breakfast bar
Rooms were clean and priced right No complaints, considering the price.
I did like anything it smelt like melee in the room and rotten Eggs and there was mold stains in the room it was horrible
The pictures online are not what the hotel was. I guess they are remodeling so they used pictures of the new parts of the hotel but said nothing about the remodel on the website. Our room looked like it was out of the seventies and it smelled like that too. The spa was closed the entire time we were there and the pool was freezing cold. The receptionist was rude. And I figured being such a nice hotel there would have been continental breakfast. I should have read the reviews.
Location and price Old and run down. Smelled bad
I didn't Like it !! The roads were closed due to weather so I could not get there and I could not cancel my room and get a refund
Not a thing Key cards did not work. I had to go back to the desk three times. They tried to overcharge me by $35. The room was gross. The bathroom was even more disgusting. There was a TV from the 1980s. In fact everything was way out of date. In a scummy location. Grossed out never coming back.
The staff that I talked to on the phone about my pills was very helpful in trying to track down my pills and I am very grateful. I left two weeks of medicine in packs, unfortunately, I didn't realize it until 2 days later but there was no record of anyone finding them. There were no drugs that most drugies use mostly diabetic, blood pressure, & colesteral.
We went to casper to shop but didn't have any money left in the checking acct. after the holiday express double charged our credit card!! When we talked to the clerk she just said I can't do anything about it you'll have to call back monday. I told her we needed the money so we could go shopping as that is we were in casper for. She didn't even apologize or try to appease us in any way. We called back monday only to have the general manager, X tell us that we should contact our bank and that we just didn't understand how debit cards worked! She continued to try to say it was just the way debit cards worked. I have never had such a bad experience with a hotel EVER!! I still haven't been credited for the two extra charges! DON'T GO!!!! \n \n
I did not know what to expect when I booked my reservation includung air fare and hotel, other than I had often stayed at Holiday Inn Express facilites in other cities and had, for the most part, been satisfied. But this location is a jewel. It is nearly new, in a very convenient location near the main highways, as well as with easy access to the city of Casper. It is a great hotel and would be perfect for all travelers! I'd definetly return.
Beds are super comfortable!
This hotel is fully up to HI Express standards that are excellent. Convenient to a wide variety of restaurants, and other services. Everything worked perfectly.
The shower was great and the bed real comfy It was loud. I could hear people loudly talking outside and was worried something would happen to my car. People were yelling in the hall and pounding on doors.
Comfortable bed, good wifi, clean room, great value and quick check-in. Everything was fine for the price.
This Hotel offered value for money on our way to Yellowstone NP. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything you might need like a fridge and decent TV. The bed was comfortable too!
Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Alarm click provided. Not enough towels, wash cloths, complementary shampoo or plug ins
