Stayed at this hotel due to an early morning flight. Bed was extremely comfortable. Down falls: it was winter time and parking lot was icy, also the hallway and stairs leading from outside here dark and dingy. Met the purpose of the stay, but would not want to stay multiple days.
Very happy with this hotel and would stay again. Nice breakfast bar. Pool and hot tub clean and plenty of towels for swimming. Easy access from highway.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was small for today's standards and the beds were outdated and sagged in the middle. The breakfast was great and had a good variety to choose from. The hotel was difficult to find at first, even using a GPS. I actually had to stop at a local restaurant to ask directions. ( It is behind the Gas station on the hill). Overall an average hotel with a need for some room updating, but, I would stay there again .
The hotel was fine except for the breakfast. The food was old and not edible. So it was a good value for the price, but plan on getting breakfast at one of the restaurants that are close to the hotel. There is a Waffle House, Big Boy, and Bob Evans.
Front Desk staff was very helpfull. pool is very nice, its located near all shoping areas and nice restaurnt. I will stay here again for sure. they have nice business center. nice breakfast. \nSimply the best.
The location is easy to find, however I think only a couple others stayed the night we did. The room was average, bed was old and not very comfortable. My wash cloth shredded when I tried to squeeze the water out. I think they should not advertise breakfast, I could find no utensils for the waffle, I did not want to eat with my fingers...so we did not eat at this establishment. I would not stay again.
With this the great price came some short falls. The room we got was not very clean. It needed dusting and it looked like the bathroom wasn't tended to. The shampoo bottle was half used and only one clean large towel. Other then that, the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great.
Stayed back in October of 2009. Great room and location for the money. Rooms are clean and updated, hotel staff friendly. Will be staying again in February 2010
will i stay here...the frist room we got was verey much so in need of some dusting and smelled like mildew and had no hot water so we moved to a anthoer room wich was much cleaner but the bed liked as if some one had laid on top of it
I was in huber heights at a wedding party. I am originally from Mobile, AL. My family and friends live in huber heights. We decided to stay here at this hotel. I really like this hotel. I think its been recently remodeled and rooms are very nice. beds are new and very comfortable. and there breakfast was also pretty nice. Front desk clerk was very help full. If I come to this area again I would stay at this hotel again.
Can't say there was anything outstandingly good OR bad about this hotel. Just an average hotel.
The hotel was vacant when i arrived (no seedy activity to worry about). Easy to get around in this area because no traffic which was relaxing. Budget travelers will probably find $50/night very reasonable here. 2nd floor bathtub barely drained. No laundry access on site. Door at my room required multiple attempts to get inside.
It was horrible. No wifi. The shower didn't work. Stunk. Road construction in front. Shady characters hanging around. Everything was bad!!!! Wouldn't stay again if it was free!!!
Continental Breakfast was non-existent. Only one coffee cup, Bed linen was stained. Tile in the bathroom was black. not sure if grout or mold. The room "felt" dirty.
The motel quality
Nothing. Vending machines empty. Staff giving out personal information. I didnt choose your hotel. To end up in jail. If you have some sort of deal with the police for kick backs you should tell your guest ahead of time! The fact that I spent the night in jail over your staff making deals with police to get money after I paid good money to your establishment I will tell everyone I know not to use these facilities!
Nothing. Everything. Dirty, poorly kept, and a hot bed for prostitution in the area.
First off let me state that we are real customers, not a shill for the hotel. The price was good, and the sheets appeared to be freshly washed. The beds were comfortable & room was generally clean, but a bit run down. Setting was quiet, and the desk clerk was a friendly character. Plenty of hot water, and generally quiet. Location is close to a handful of local & chain restaurants - Xenia is not a large town. Overall opinion: A little sprucing up and a few repairs would go a long way to upgrade this property. Potential to be a very nice local stay. I had hoped for more - more what? Well, the room was supposed to be non-smoking but it reeked of cigarettes (plus some sort of putrid freshener to try and cover it) and had burn marks along the edge of the tub as a testimony. Entry door and latch were sloppy lending no sense of security, and had the weather been cold would have been quite drafty. Shower enclosure had been crudely patched with some sort of epoxy, and the counter space around the sink did not instill a sense of cleanliness. Chunks of ceiling texture were missing with no attempt to repair. No spare blanket, had to strip from the other bed. Day to day cleaning appeared to be good, but longer term repairs and maintenance were poor to absent. Continental breakfast was a bad joke; coffee plus your choice of stale cereals in bulk dispensers, in the 8x8 lobby with 2 tiny tables. I was told at check-in that bagels would also be available in the morning - we skipped this part.
We confirmed our room a month prior and luckily I walked in when i did because they were going to rent out my room to the lady in front of me. And we had a hole in the dirty shower wall
