Pros: The owners of B&B Farfa were so lovely, helpful and flexible! It really feels like staying home. The area is very peaceful and the house quiet. Loved the pool on hot Italian summer days. I hope I can go back soon!
Pros: The host Guglielmo was incredible. Very friendly and helpful. He very kindly offered us lifts as we were attending a wedding in the area and hadn't rented a car. I definitely recommend renting a car as the property is very much in the beautiful hills.
Pros: B&B Farfa is a fantastic stay. My partner and I booked a room when attending a wedding in the area. Giuglielmo is fantastically accommodating, even driving us to the venue and picking us up from the local train station. The options Giuglielmo assembled for our breakfast were delicious and very appreciated. We even ate his own eggs and plums from his farm. He and his family were so welcoming and helpful to us and our fellow guests. The scenery is beautiful - I recommend waking up for the sunrise at least once during your stay!
Cons: B&B Farfa is quite remote, so plan your travel accordingly. Having said that, Giuglielmo was very accommodating and gave us several lifts to and from local attractions!
Pros: A wonderful B and B in the hills outside Rome. A friendly family with a crazy lovely little dog and six cats! The place was super clean and we were warmly welcomed. A great selection of Italian breakfast and we were even to treated to vegetables from the garden and cakes for lunch. It is very quiet and peaceful and there is a swimming pool for when it gets too hot.
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming and although we arrived very late at the house , the lady of the house waited for us until 1am and showed us the house around and we felt very comfortable with the stay. The house is big l, with a huge breakfast, a living room well decorated and spacious rooms. I recommend the house to everyone that want a big space in a cool location outside Rome immerse in the nature. Quintessential Italian experience at a low price!
Pros: Giuglielmo and his family were the most helpful and generous hosts you could hope for. The rooms are in an apartment above their home, situated in beautiful countryside. I was staying in the area for a wedding, but didn't have a car, and Giuglielmo willingly transported the other guests and I to and from the wedding events and to the interesting Abbey nearby. Nothing was too much trouble! On the last day of my stay, I was generously invited to join lunch with the family as the rest of our party had departed (lunch was, of course, delicious). The rooms and the apartment as a whole are very clean, and the views from the rooms and balconies are beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with eggs and fruit from the farm, juice, coffee and more, and the B&B itself has everything you could possibly need. Clean, comfortable, beautiful setting, delicious food and generous hosts. What more could you need from a B&B?! It's very easy to get to the region from Rome, and I'd highly recommend making a trip out to the area and a stay at B&B Farfa.
Cons: Poor breakfast, not as expected from reviews
Pros: Odila an her family were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We felt very comfortable and the location was stunning
Pros: The owners were so lovely, in particular Odila, she welcomed us and was so kind. The room is very beautiful, the private bathroom is nice and clean, outside the garden is amazing. A nice place to stay and relax!
Cons: I put the address on the navigator but didn't find the civic address of the B&B, I called to have some information to arrive there so. Is easy to get to the street from the main one, but it was not so good for me riding a motorcycle to get there, coz the street is not so much comfortable.
Pros: The place was above expectations. The house on top of the highest hill offers you incredible views of the area. The rooms offers you all the comfort you could wish. And the host is a most charming woman and a great cook. I definitely come back for a longer period in spring.

Pros: Travelling for work and sleep in natural paradise. That's was my experience there. Simply amazing. Great support from the landlord who accommodate us even arriving at different times and late.
Pros: First of all, I have to say that getting to Residenza Degli Oleandri is a bit of a nightmare. If you are using Tom Tom on your GPS, look for "Fara di Sabina" and not "Canneto Sabino" which will give you nothing in return. We spent half a day trying to get to the place, and we did an extra 100 kms just on that account. Anyway... my driving experience can differ from yours, and what really matters is the place. Residenza Degli Oleandri is simply gorgeous. You get there through a dirt path, and after a while you find an automatic gate. The gate opens and you see yourself on this kind of paradise, with gardens everywhere, a small pond and vineyards extending to the horizon. The apartments are very well equipped, with all that is important. 5 *.

Pros: Great breakfast, fantastic location and terrific views. Very nice style and luxurious entourage. Very quiet and peaceful. Cute little and well preserved villages in the environment. Only one hour drive from Rome airport. The host Patrizia knows all the perfect spots in the surroundings to enjoy, but spending a relaxing day at the big pool with complementary towels is also recommendable.
Pros: Breakfast was a delight every morning and Patrizia so helpful and cheerful

Pros: It's a great place to stay

Pros: The castle, the rooms, the views. It was perfect. In some places it was a little shabby but you only saw it if you looked due to the character and charm of the buildings. The staff were helpful and the food was great. Perfect for a honeymoon couple. But as a family we enjoyed every minute
Cons: No wi-fi Pool out of order Restricted number of seats for dinner
Pros: We loved loved loved loved loved it here! It will meet your expectations and more. The castle grounds are beautifully looked after and inside is a delight. There is nothing not to like. It’s only 40km from Rome, but you are well into the Lazio countryside. An amazing place. We will stay again. Thank you.
Pros: Such an amazing castle in a beautiful location
Pros: Quality of food an reception managment
Cons: Te quality of materass it is bad very bad the linen of toilette Toilette is very very bad in all the hydronic sistem Ristorante equipment is dirty and This hote is not more than 2 stars It is danger for any on to live in
Pros: Real castle stay. The place is huge, our room was the only one on the floor and there was a biliard table outside. Ask to visit a wine cellar, it was a castle prison before that. No issues with the parking on the territory.
Cons: The breakfast was fine, but not 5-star hotel level.
Pros: • the castle is beautiful • great views • friendly staff
Cons: • For a 5-star rating I would have expected a cleaner setting. There were cobwebs outside the room and the shower was cracked • the swimming pool is accessible from 11am, so for us staying only one night we had already to check out of the room before having the possibility of using the swimming pool • we had dinner at the castle having read lots of good reviews but were left very disappointed. The restaurant is expensive so a high quality of service is to be expected, instead the service was slow, the pasta came out cold and the portion sizes were not overly generous. • it’s not easy to find your way around the castle due to a lack of signs telling you where to go. On entering the castle it took us a little to find the reception... • you can hear everything through the walls...
Pros: Everything, the staff were fantastic, the building is beautiful and the views all around are stunning.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Umm Staying in freaking real castle
Pros: This castle is phenomenal and living in the real castle is the best ever experience! Im obsessed with european medieval history and enjoyed every minute of being in this property.
Cons: Our rooms in Villino (located right outside the castle) were very dated and toilets smelled. Also, a glass of wine in the bar costs 14eur!
With a stay at I 4 Monaci in Fara in Sabina, you'll be 28 mi (45.1 km) from Villa d'Este and 28.8 mi (46.3 km) from Borghese Gallery. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This is the nicest B and B by far we stayed at on our trip around Italy. It is in the secluded jewel of Farfa and at night you can admire the abbey, the stars, and wander the tiny streets. The place itself is beautifully decorated and you are welcomed with a generous aperitivo of wine, cheese and prosciutto (all DOP sourced). Breakfast is in the coffee shop attached and beyond excellent. We were visiting in December and it was cosy and inviting, plus we were able to enjoy and open fire. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! It's arty, soulful yet modern with lots of generous thoughtful extras - like Aleppo soap and erborista toiletries.
Pros: The location was very nice and close to the abbey. The room was very nice and lovely furnished. Beside it was very hot, because the air condition didn't work right. And under the roof it was really hard to sleep at that night. The host were very nice and funny. We had communication without any word in english (and we do not really speak italian ;-))
Pros: We spent one day in Farfa during our bike tour from Assisi to Rom. Farfa is a beautiful place famous for its monastery and perfect to relax and to enjoy the calm and spiritual atmosphere. We enjoyed a lot the welcoming hospitality of the "4 Monaci". When we arrived we had been suprised by a delicious Aperitivo! We are very greatful to have spent such a great time in such a creative place! Thank you!
Pros: Wonderful villa amid olive garden with very friendly hosts, nice rooms with terrace and a great pool
Cons: impossible to find.... i'm traveling for bussines..i had to look for the hotel searching more then half an hour..if one traveled from 4 o'clock in the morning have a working day and then try to find the hotel...i can assure you that is not very funny. problem for me as bussines traveler..at arrival there is no drik possibility..you have to go down to a smaal town to eat. for toerist is maybe perfect but for bussines don't meet what you need
Pros: Friendly owners. Really nice people you will meet there. Relaxing is guaranteed for sure

Pros: very helpful and Sarina messaged me to make sure everything was ok--the room was loveley, airconditioned with a good WIFI signal
Cons: there was nothing i didnt like--would have liked a choice of breakfast--ie scrambled eggs as opposed to pastrys but what i was given was nice--i was delayed getting there in the evening and tried to call to say i was going to be late but the call went to tim message gratuito--voicemale so my first nights stay didnt happen and i stayed at my mothers close by...everything worked out ok though and i will definatly stay there again
Pros: nice and quiet place. Beautiful garden, nice view
Cons: - not very clean (hair in bathroom and on toilet, spider webs at the ceiling, dust) - breakfast could be more for people who want to hike or bike (2 croissants and one coffee per person, one little bowl of marmelade for 5 persons - that's it: no bread / butter / cheese / ham / eggs etc. - The main problem arised when we wanted to check out (in hurry, because we needed to catch a train): The host did not accept the price we got from booking.com, although we configurated it right with 5 adults for one night: HE CHARGED US 55EUR MORE THAN THE BOOKING-PRICE, then after lots of discussion, we could beat him down to 25€ more. Still not acceptable for us, because you need to rely on the price booking is giving you, otherwise booking.com doesn't make sense - does it? Fortunately booking.com refunded the difference afterwards - but intensive e-mail-writing necessary - lots of time and anger...
