Nice settings although near highway and railway. Spacious room and bathroom. Good restaurant.
Warm and comfortable. Dinner was excellent and the serving staff excellent, but the meal was very overpriced!!! About £60 per head for 2 courses and coffee with a couple of glasses of house wine seems rather expensive to us. Also, our room was separate from the main building and so we had to put coats on to go for dinner (although I believe there were very few, if any, other guests)
Architecture and decoration, quietness, truly excellent restaurant, very spacious room A bit remote from everyhting, no extra blanket in room, air conditioning and internet connection a bit tricky, with a small extra touch of decoration on the walls, it would be a top class hotel.
This is a charming hotel with an excellent, innovative, restaurant serving local specialties. Worth a journey.
very friendly service buildings are not all attached, you must go outside to go to reception or to dinning room and breakfast
The food was superb, staff very pleasant and baby-friendly Location not great (but ideal place to relax and break a car journey)
The resort itself was quaint. Our room and bath were delightful. It was as good or better than we had anticipated. Not one thing.
Good restaurant with local specialties and reasonably priced. Sky TV channels and easy parking.
The staff were very helpfull to myself and wife also several of the staff spoke english too which was a great help for us.The restraunt was excellent and the waiting staff were very informitive about their selection's of food and wine.We will return in the very near future. Only thing missing was tea/coffee making facility in our room,
Nice hotel, very friendly and flexible personal. Only paid internet access, not extremely expensive but still not for free.
I was staying too short time to share my objective opinion.
The fact that our 2 children (- 12 years) could sleep in the same bedroom and pay nothing! We had an excellent stay for one night, as we were travelling to Abruzzo (Italy).
Very nice hotel to stay in. It's been fully renovated last year and was origanally build arround the 12th century!! They kept the old feeling but it was very clean and set-up with all the 21th century wishes!! A fine hotel to stay in, specially by night a beautifull view arround.
The room was nice; the restaurant was excellent When the receptionist leads you to your room, help her remember that there is an elevator. (She made us climb two floors via the staircase with our suitcase as if elevators weren't invented yet)
Nicely rebuilt and old land-priopierty, stylish. Jacuzzi in the Junior Suite room that we had is an extra plus. A location directly next to to local road. In the middle of nowhere.
A charming old Italian castle/chateaux recently renovated to high standard set in flat agricultural countryside but within easy reach of historic towns and villages . Staff very helpful & friendly. Excellent breakfast but couldn't comment on Resteraunt as we used the vey pleasant pizzaria. If in area this is a not to be missed hotel. Tip :- the reception is located on the 1st floor (not ground floor) and reached by magnificent exterior stair case -- leave your luggage in car as only access is to go down to ground floor then cross courtyard to take lift to your room. Highly recommended. At time of visit wifi didn't extend to room & wired ethernet wouldn't connect using either my own /or their supplied cable - hey, but it was Sunday and specialist help not available. Reception staff connected a 36 metre cable from thier computer through to an adjacent sitting room.
The hotel itself is simply great. Big, nicely furnished rooms, attention to details, cleanliness, beautiful surroundings. Great value for money. Unfriendly staff at the reception. Restaurant that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel was closed first day ("because there's no people now").
Best pizza in italy.
The pictouresque surroundings were a surprise, the hotel itself even more so. What a fantastic place for a leisurely stay, whether business or pleasure.
nicely restaured farm building with restaurant
lots of space and very clean no
A taste of rural life in Italy. The renovated castle sits in the middle of farmland and ploughed paddocks. Plenty of facilities that didn't seem to be in use. It is situated on a busy country road which is noisy. Ask for a room away from the road. Also the corridors are stone so you hear everyone walking past.
quiet, comfortable room. breakfast gave good selection
Good parking facilities No kettle or tea making facilities
Parking next to the room above ground. Breakfast oké no internet connection
Good hotell for only sleeping, clean rooms and good service, close to high way.
Everything-it´s quiet,stylish,nice organized,with excellent breakfast,cool car place... Yeah,the only tv-channel was porn chanell!!!
Had everything required for an overnight stay. Limited leisure options.
