The location is in an area which seems to have poor weather at this time of year. There is nothing to do if the weather is poor.
The location was clean and there is enough space to park your car on the property.
The first night we were the only guests so we had to take our breakfast in our room without a real table and not enough plates and cutlery. You need a car to get anywhere. Due to low season the restaurant on the property was closed.
- Spacious room - Pretty buildings - Friendly hostess
- First of all, if this would have been marketed as a B&B for half the price we paid, I think that would be alright, marketing it as a 4-star hotel is simply misleading. - There was nobody at the premises, we were the only guests, no personnel except for check-in & check-out at times we had to pre-arrange. The services advertised on the website were all closed, i.e. the restaurant or the jacuzzi. - Not suitable for single travellers, it feels unsafe at night to be totally alone with a single lock in the middle of nowhere. - For breakfast we received a tray of basic breakfast items to eat in our room crouched over our coffee table, sitting on the sofa. For the price of the room this is outrageous!
Comfortable room. Balcony not as described. Good walk in shower. Had to ask for kettle. No tea, coffee, milk
No Wi-fi in rooms. Lack of staff around. Rest of hotel all shut up except for breakfast and evening meal if requested Wi-fi in main building but as it was all locked most of the time could not access. The hotel is in the north of the island in a sleepy village. A couple of local restaurants, nothing special. Needed the car.
We liked the location and the room was excellent. Peaceful and with a stunning vue.
We stayed in low season and the restaurant was closed. There was too little information at checkin about where to buy water for example. We could not get the jacuzi to work because of no user instructions. Generally the person who received us was too passive. But as before mentioned. This was low season so......
