not too far from airport Hotel stuff could be more flexible.
No comments. Despite the fact that I had made booking very early in February for 2 rooms with Queen bed and a third with 2 double beds, upon arrival I was told that the room with 2 double bed is not available and all the 3 rooms are with Queen bed. Even when I showed the print out of confirmation, the employee insisted that she doesn't have it on the computer. I was reluctantly constrained to use the room that I did not ask for. Though I was given a discount of $5 on that particular room, I regret to say that the employee was discourteous in dealing with the situation.
Clean, convenient. One receptionist v friendly & v helpful; others not bothered - lacked eye contact and a smile. Need to open the swimming pool ealier than may (It was v hot in early April) Not many places to eat around if you have no transport.
Very conveniently located next to the Atlanta Airport. Price of the room was very affordable. Clean and comfortable for overnight stay prior to departure. A bit difficult to find as it is hidden from the street. Better signage maybe?
Needed a place to stay overnight with a shuttle to get back to the Airport for an early morning flight. Worked out well.
Convenient to shopping It was comfortable and It had that smell that some hotels have.
the hotel did not have our room and after several hours, waiting for their airport shuttle, we were given a room with a double bed. 30 minutes later we arrived. Kids were running up and down the hall, knocking on doors until 11:00 PM. small breakfast selection. We won't return.
Quiet eventhough 2 buses of kidsa were at the facility. Beds were not real comfortable. I reserved a king size nonsmoking and I got 2 double non-smoking.
There was no hot water in the shower, the room had a musty smell, and the aesthetics were old and poor.
Convenience to airport very limited dining nearby
It is a nice place to stay i love it
I like the staff's help throughout the stay and the hospitality I didn't like the fitness center. could not put it to use.
This was a terrible experience...a total hustle. We had reservations at the Forest Park location but they had overbooked it. They (hotel shuttle from airport) tried to take us to another (farther away) location and pass it off like it was the Forest Park location. When we called them on it, they gave us some runaround and then tried to hustle us again by saying that the room was free and then not refunding our card. I am still trying to figure out how to get my money back for this complete breach of contract. The hotel was dirty, smelled awful, was run-down and non-functioning. The staff was dodgy and actually became confrontational when we caught them trying to pull a fast one on us (taking us to an alternate location without telling us). Overall, I would suggest that booking.com discontinue doing business with this hotel immediately for fear of being liable. I am not a lawyer, but I would guess that the operation is in violation of several codes and laws.
It had a little bit of breakfast items but most were out of stock. Bathroom was not clean.
Close to airport. Free shuttle runs 24 hours. Relatively reasonable rate. Room wasn't particularly clean. Pillows were very old and lumpy. Everything was old and dilapidated.
Close to the airport, cheap price with a complimentary breakfast the rooms were dated and looked nothing like the ones advertised on the website. beds were stained and tatty
The fact that you guys had a flat screen tv but no hdmi port !!!
it was very in the middle of nowwhere, nothing to do out there and the shutle service is bullcrab
Convenient to Atlanta area. Affordable room. Air freshener used was a strange sent. AC unit barely worked enough to cool room. Top sheet had a cigarette burn. Room layout is in mid transition, old tv cabinet and wall mounted tv separate locations. Disrespectful sign about their amenities and purchase prices. Located at the bitter edge of the ghetto.
Low-cost stay with a choice of stuff at breakfast!Room are good/tidy, with space, good bed/fridge and microwave. Good choice.have chuttleservice!
Good value, practical and close to the airport, excellent WiFi connection and friendly staff
location Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Very very very poor.bread was stale.Room stale as well, staff not friendly. I
Very comfy bed. I also love the fact that this motel provides free phone calls to all over USA including calls to mobiles and free wireless internet access. Microwave and fridge are also available in rooms. Fantastic idea. Only 2 things. The aircondition units needs to be cleaned. The one in the room I stayed in, stench really bad every time I switch it on. Secondly, there are no public transport in the area. (but that's not the hotel's fault ofcourse) The nearest bus stop is nearly 30mins walk.. and there are no pedestrian walkways to get there. (not the best for Europeans that likes to walk :o) ) And if you get the bus, it takes nearly 40mins to get you to the airport where you can then get the Metro to Atlanta City. Or Taxi costs up $40 to the airport. So make sure you have a car. Oh and the cleaning trolleys can be very noisy along the corridors in the mornings
Nothing at all Even if the sheets were clean there were hairs everywhere. Cigarette burns on the comforter in a non smoking room. And an ash tray. The shower curtain was 50%broken. Towels were only big enough for children. TV was busted and shut off constantly.
The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly. I was very surprised and disappointed that there were no microwave ovens available for the guest. A staff member told me the only microwave was on the first floor but after I dressed and went to the lobby, I had to ask a member of the cleaning crew to warm my food because the microwave was in the hotel's kitchen. This was very inconvenient . We also didn't realize we had to pay $8 per day to park.
It was very close to the airport.
Nice breakfast. Having a bar and snacks available at night.
I enjoyed my stay. Comfortable room and good breakfast.
Parking charge. I requested an AARP discount and was told I had to request at the time of booking.
Great staff. Good transportation, room layout, breakfast. Water pressure was a litle weak.
I didn't like that on the floor that I was staying smelt like cleaner. It was a very potent smell and was unpleasant going from the elevator to my room.
the girl at the desk was really nice. The beds were super comfortable, and our room was very clean. the breakfast should be open till 10am, it closes at 9. the tv was older, flat screen but not a smart tv. The desk chair was old and had a big rip in it. The area right around the hotel was okish, but just down the road is pretty rough.
Hate the place. Dirty, loud. Smell marijuana every anywhere
Close to airport and shuttle . Good price for a overnight stay before catching another flight Aging furniture
Dirty, loud, old
Nothing at all!!!! But the price! Complete trash!!!! Like a trap house in there! Glad it was only for one night
They had roaches and I have video footage!!!!!
Nothing. This place is scary. Looked like drug deals going down in the parking lot. The ceilings are crazy low everywhere, room reeked of weed, the bagels may have been a year old, our room was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. There was a very kind lady at the front desk. Other than that, AWFUL. I have NO idea how it has the rating it does. Trust me pay more and stay at the LaQuinta next door.
It was great. Liked everything
It was a very quiet area and the blackout curtains were awesome. We appreciated the refrigerator in one of the room since we made cheesecakes that needed to go in them. The other room we had was accessible for elderly. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and my mother n law's room smelled damp and musty. I didn't like how our window was open when we checked in at 11pm.
The staff was wonderful.
Close proximity to the airport hotel was being remodeled but staff did not tell me this when I checked in.I was just given my room number. When i stepped off the elevator I though i had made a mistake....the entire floor looked like an unfinished building with no carpet holes in the floor sawdust everywhere. Looked the area had been bombed. The room was totally different however. it would have been nice and the right thing to do have done which would have been told what to expect .
Erroneous fire alarm
Parking. Close to airport. Airport noise. Room not serviced day 2.
We had to move our reservation last minute. Though we went through an online service, it was easy to work with the hotel to make the last minute necessary changes with no extra costs or stipulations. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider a return visit.
The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled so it was in excellent condition. I liked best the continental breakfast, it was great since I was leaving early and had no time for a sit down breakfast. No complaints, it worked well for my purposes.
I liked the cleanness of the room and the vicinity of the airport. The front desk staff was very correct. There wasn't a scale to weigh our baggage.
My family appreciate the kindness of the staff My kids were frustrated not to have been able to use the swimming pool which was not cleaned.
I stayed here for one night on a weekend. I was able to get the room I wanted with a king bed, which was a nice luxury. My room and bathroom were very clean, which I guess is due to the recent renovations that someone mentioned in a review I read when looking at this hotel. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was spotless, and there were no weird smells in my room. Thankfully the place wasn't overrun by families with small children, which can sometimes be overwhelming for a young couple. But at the same time it seemed like it was definitely family friendly. The breakfast was your standard complimentary hotel breakfast. The front desk staff was a hit or miss. The person who checked me in was rude but the person who checked me out was welcoming and not rude.
Unplanned stop-over in Atlanta - this hotel was the only one having rooms available - so that was positive. Smoothing iron was broken but was replaced within 30 minutes. Although sheets and towels were clean, the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired - it came with two cockraches included! Amneties - None. Breakfast? - well okay there was some. 100 Dollars for this stay was way overpriced!
Wonderful staff! Beautiful, contagious, bubbly personalities! I had an issue with my credit card while checking in for incidentals due to my bank being unaware of my cross country trek. The staff were very accommodating and patient while I contacted my bank to correct the fraud speculation. Thank you for making my stop a good one!
After a long night and a missed connection, we found BWAE had best cleanliness and overall ratings of nearby hotels. It was a quick shuttle from airport, rates were reasonable, and staff pleasant. Rooms were surprisingly clean, fresh white linens, recent updates etc. Bath was clean but a bit dated however some updates had been made. Due to the late hour, we didnt look around much beyond the bed and bathroom in the few hours we stayed. Walking into the lobby, we were initially concerned that we made the wrong choice because of the old, musty smell but thankfully it stopped there.
Clean rooms very clean
We didn't like anything about Morrow Days Inn. This was the worst experience of all times. This location was found in very poor repair. The bed was not clean. The pillow cases appeared as unwashed. The condition of the flooring was poor. We could not sleep on the bed. We've had better experiences at other Days Inns. There is not a possibility that we would ever come to this location again.
Value not bab and comfortable Sometimes shampoo and other things were not supplied
Close to where i needed to go Room had bed bugs
Close to highway Filthy carpet in hallway, stains on sheet and towel, loose toilet, pathetic breakfast.
The location When I first arived at check in there was a man in the lobby yelling at the front desk man about the broken computer and cussing out loud at the front desk clerk, the clerk was jist ignoring the man I didnt know if the man was going blow up or what very uncomfortable situation. They didnt have the room I reserved I had to sleep in a double bed the room was not clean smelt bad not vacuum and the shower was dirty a dirty tampon holder was on the bathroom floor behind the toilet..Safty is definitely a issues not the extra latch lock on the room door was broken..The door to get into the rooms that you swipe your card to enter was broken you just open it there were people hanging out on the walkway when you get off the elevator. The room halways smelt like strong pot mixed with inscents..I will never book online again for days inn.
Nothing good about this hotel at all. Hotels like this shouldn't exist in the USA!! Smelly, dirty, smoky (even for non smoking rooms), no sound proof (you hear everything that's going on next door), awful bedding, unfriendly staff, dark and scary corridors (for rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors)
Room had two bullet holes, fool was sticking (mind you this is carpet) and the overall cleanliness was horrible. Never again.
You need to go to the front yourself for towels; it takes housekeeping staff forever to clean rooms (maybe under staffed). No radio in room. No iron or board in room , had to go to front for iron , but no board. Not continental breakfast just waffles & coffee. No ice bucket ; they will give you a small bag to fill up and take too your room.
The pool wasn't that clean
Check in day- my room was located on the 3rd floor at the end of a dark smelly hallway. I open the door and the first thing I see is a huge crack across the window & the window didn't close all of the way. So I had asked for a room on the first floor. They had a room and it was stains all over the carpet the room smelled like mildew. I had to stay there for week. I went to the store and purchased arm&hammer carpet deodorizer. I poured it all over the carpet, I had pluggins glade airfresheners all over the place. I couldn't was in the shower I thought I would get some kind of fungus. I bathed in the sink. They a/c blew meld air. I had also requested housekeeping to skip my room and everyday I would come back they were in my room. Initially i was planning on booking 2 weeks before I arrived at the hotel. I checked out after being there for 5 days. Lesson learned you get exactly what you pay for. I would've never thought any Days Inn hotel would be like this. I can't understand how this hotel is able to have good reviews
Nothing....! The room I booked was unbelievable, the ceiling paint was peeling it look like it should've been condemned I asked for a second room a different room and it was just as bad I found it hard to believe that place was still in business..!
Service was phenomenal. The architecture of the building itself is beautiful, and the location is wonderful - convenient proximity to a lot of great dining and shopping
The hotel itself is very nice. Nothing very close in terms of restaurants etc.
Cleanliness of room needs improvement
Very close/walking distance to MARTA station. The shuttle was very handy, running every 30 minutes/24 hrs. The drivers were very nice and helpful as well. The room cleanliness needs improvement - due to our late check-in, had to ask for sanitizing wipes to clean the counters and all surfaces since housekeeping wouldn't be back until morning. Not a lot of dining options nearby, and when we wanted to order room service for breakfast we were told they couldn't deliver due to lack of staff, even though the menu offered room service during the breakfast hours.
Close to the airport We arrived very later after a canceled flight to find out that the room we had reserved online was not available. It seemed there was only one person in the entire hotel that night who was responsible for all of its occupants. She was not able to find us another room anywhere in the area.
Super cute environment, great service at the bar. Loved it!
Tiffany was over the top amazing.
Friendly staff, good food, shuttle to airport and clean accommodations. Would definitely stay here again. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
good room, near the arport there isn't the breackfast we have payed, after we have sayd they give us a ticket with 20$ discaunt but the breackfast are very expensive and ticket is not enough
nice friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Free Shuttle bus to airport and transport connections was great. in the direct flight path of the airport so a little bit noisy.
Good basic room in a convenient location near the Atlanta Airport. We wanted a cheap place to stay on our way to Puerto Rico. Newspaper was nice. Hotel has convenient shuttles to airport every 1/2 hour. The only thing was the breakfast waffle tasted like cardboard. But there were plenty of other options so this is just me being picky.
The value for money was excellent. The free shuttle service from the airport was extremely convenient (once you know where to find it at the airport, which took a while). There's a public transportation stop right outside the hotel. Free Internet access in the lobby at non-crowded times (nominal fee if other people are waiting in queue to discourage sitting there forever). The free continental breakfast was very light on content. I did not get an accurate perception of the establishment from Booking.com: I thought I was going to a hotel but it was really a motel, with the rooms all accessible from the parking lot. I was fine with it once I made the mental readjustment but it wasn't quite what I'd expected. The photos make the place look a bit shinier than it actually is. The lobby and rooms are actually a bit more run down than in the photos, but still quite passable.
I like the conveniance of being able to check in at 2:00 am. It seemed a little easy access for trouble makers to gain the attention of the guest.
Staff courtesy, clean rooms, early morning breakfast (4.00am)
Staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Mr Patel and the airport shuttle drivers. Hotel is located very close to the airport and they provide free transportation to a nearby restaurant. Would go back again.
My room was on a ground floor. N/A
Good location near the airport. For the price, the room was fine. The breakfast was mainly cereal and toast, but they also had a waffle maker. Definitely about what I expected. Would've been nice to have eggs for breakfast but that is okay.
Conveniently located to Atlanta International airpoirt
Cleanliness and location Run down
I needed to overnight in Atlanta on an ongoing trip and it suited me perfectly at the airport. No
Courtney in the front desk was the only nice staff member, she took good care of everything I asked her. The fifth floor, even a non-smoking floor, smelled like they have been smoking for years, when I told that to the person at the front desk she said "well, our smoking floor is the second one, maybe it's because of the smells in the elevator", which is absolutely absurd and does not solve the problem. The staff at the restaurant was careless, they only showed up to the table to take the order and deliver it. They didn't even looked at the table during the whole time I was there. The bedroom was not visibly dirty but the bathroom smelled like urine. I would never stay there again or advise someone else to do it. It was very unpleasant and uncomfortable.
Location to airport The hotel is outdated in general. Stains in the tub makes you not want to use it without flip flops on. A simple refinish of the tub and paint throughout the entire hotel would easily improve appearance. The small pillows on the king size bed needs to go. They should at least be comfortable if you are going that route. The carpet is disgusting and in need of replace or a good shampoo. The elevated reeked of smoke & pee. There were people arguing in the halls at 2 am. I'd recommend putting roudy types on certain floors away from those there to catch an early flight. The continental breakfast was a nice benefit and average with a waffle maker section, eggs, cereal, sausage, and mini muffins. I'd choose another hotel if needed again.
The price for what you're getting and where you're staying is tough to beat. The room was clean. The A/C worked well. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was hot and tasty. While the hotel we kept clean, it is still incredibly old and outdated. The A/C, while it served it purpose, was incredibly loud. The elevators bounced for at least a minute before opening to let you out. The wallpaper needs replacing. Just overall, the hotel needs a facelift. That is mainly cosmetic though. However, something that is problematic and not simply cosmetic is the parking situation. I'm not quite sure how they were originally able to permit for such a large hotel with so few parking spots but it's a joke. Throughout most of the day, every single spot is taken up and you end up with people trying to squeeze their car in wherever they can, often times having to park illegally just to be near the hotel. At least point there's nothing they can do beyond building an unrealistic park garage so just keep that in mind.
Staff was friendly, pretty responsive overall. Outdated and rundown a little, wifi was sketchy and frequently dropped, close to highway that has a lot of traffic all night (loud), nothing really appealing within walking distance, complimentary breakfast was okay, but not great. Just generally so-so.
Friendly staff Someone tried to break into our room. Reported it to the front desk at checkout and so far no one from Howard Johnson has contacted us.
The Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again. I did not like the fact that parking was not included.
The front desk guy was overworked but in a good mood. He was helpful and courteous. Bath tub/shower did not drain properly. Access by personal car was confusing.
decent hotel. Bussiness center very handy and well equipped. airco somewhat noisy.
Front desk provided great customer service
Service was great and hotel staff got us a pack and play for our 6 month old really fast. Room was cozy, but spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer! N/A
Newer hotel with convenient shuttle to the airport. It is relaxing and hidden off of the main road. The beds have adjustable comfort levels. The granola bars at check iin the lobby at check in were delicious. Due to the proximity of the hotel to the airport, we could hear planes taking off from our room. The air conditioning was louder than usual. Breakfast was only available for an additional cost (average $12 each).
I was very please staying at the Hilton Garden very clean!! a very good deal usually those kinds of hotel are always very expensive no
Check in was quick and customer service was professional and positive. Loved the staff's kind energy. Bed was uncomfortable and too soft.
The bed and pillows were great! Using the third party for booking means I don't get Hotel benefit credit.
Economical; spacious; good breakfast bar; friendly service In need of some repairs; overly reeked of air freshener in places; staff is well-meaning, but gave us key to room that was already occupied before quickly moving us to "proper" room. No harm, no foul in this case, but pretty sure we'll find somewhere else for our next overnight stay in Atlanta
Front desk staff was very helpful, and have us tons on extra blankets when we only asked for 1. Great people, clean, comfortable. Nothing
The hotel was clean and the PAID staff was very friendly I did not like that my credit card was fraudulently charged 3 separate times for 2 different amounts on 2 different dates. I did not like that the owner K. Patel was extremely rude and laughed when I called to inquire about the charges. I did not like that She was not helpful and flat out told me to call back after I had calmed down from them stealing my money.I did not like that I had to call my bank to resolve the matter as the owners of the motel had no intention of assisting me. I will NEVER stay at this motel again and advise anyone that does to watch their statements for multiple unapproved charges.
Staff were nice, bed was comfortable, and room was quiet. Overall facility was not clean. Found a hair in my oatmeal. "Fitness Center" consisted of a treadmill in disrepair that worked intermittently, and a reclining bike with broken water bottle holder and loose fittings. The weight machine was rusty, and also in need of servicing.
Gentleman at front desk was nice. Just needed room for overnite stay due to airline connection. Wouldn't wAnt to spend multiple nights. Area around hotel very dark. Nowhere to eat within walking distance. Eat before you get there.
Not enough parking
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We had an early out, so the location was perfect. The breakfast was good.
To noises, inclining HVAC unit
Good breakfast bar; comfortable beds; spacious rooms; friendly staff; economical long term parking; good overall value Facilities need updating; air freshener smell a little strong; wish the long term parking agreement had a few more formalities simply to feel more confident about safety of car while away
It ended up being a great stay but it was a little rocky when we got there. I booked a regular king room but they gave us a king with a handicapped shower. They moved us to a double bed room which I was not happy about because the beds were twin sized. They next morning the front desk supervisor put us in an executive king suite for the inconvenience so it all balanced out. They were nice people and Ms. Kim, that did breakfast, was extremely nice. :)
Great hotel near the airport and for the price it was well worth the stay! If I ever get stuck in Atlanta again I know where to go!
It is very professional, clean, trustful . We like it very much.
Any hotel in this area is very convenient to the Atlanta airport. This hotel shows it's age.
It was a great overnight pitt stop on our way to Florida, great buffet style breakfast and comfortable beds and clean room and shower for a night. Perfect price too!!
The staff is awesome, we had family items we needed to get on an airplane and get home, they helped us out and had no problems at the airport Slow elevator, noise from the highway
Close to the airport and shuttle provided for free
Location near airport and good friendly van service I arrived at 1030 and they did not have a room ready until 4 pm, even though checkin is listed at 3 pm
Great hotel, especially for the price. The staff were especially nice and the rooms were modern and very clean. includes free shuttle to the airport and a big breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
The desk clerk had given away the non-smoking rooms that I reserved. I was also reserving 3 rooms for others and had called ahead to see what I needed to do for payment and I was told that my card on file for reservation was enough. Only when my party checked in the clerk threatened to give away the rooms without my card. He then photocopied all of their ids even though I told him I would fax the info. The staff and the organization was very poor and I will not be back.
Accomodation was comfortable, the room was well equiped and clean with good internet access. Business Center was also well equiped.
Very good location, convenient shuttle to airport. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and nice. This hotel does not compare with others of the chain. All carpets need renovation, outdated TV sets, radio/clock and coffe maker. The breakfast did not offer the same variety as the one we stayed in Atlanta Perimeter. The front desk person was not friendly or helpful. We asked for extra pillows that were never delivered. We asked for a bottle of water and the attendant used a rude frase to say that they were finished.
I liked that it was easy to get to the airport with shuttle buss. Breakfast was really good and i did not get bored even though I ate it three mornings. Price was also reasonable. I could imagine to stay at the same hotel again :)
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Nothing The rooms
Good location. Efficient check in and check out. The deadbolt on the door had been ripped off. Didn't feel unsafe in area, but the room felt very unclean. Sticky tables.
a nice location not clean poor service service that said they had was not provided
Every couple months in stay here due to work. I usually have work to do in south Atlanta but I do not mind the 15 minute commute. I enjoy staying here because the staff is very friendly and they are always smiling. I enjoy the rooms because they are not stuffy, but they feel very homey. I enjoy watching TV and that is one thing that I love about this hotel. They have flat screen TVS with over 300 channels and that is my favorite part. I do not like the fact that the hotel is hilly but I usually am able to get a room near the office so I do not have to walk up and down the hill. I enjoy my stay at this hotel every time and I am glad I did not go based on the negative reviews or I would have missed out on a affordable and nice hotel.
Internet was free and worked well. I booked this as a 'deal' where you find out the name of the hotel after you book.It said the 2 star hotels were HamptonInn,LaQuinta, BestWestern. We got a Super8.It was in a really bad part of town with people loitering on corners.Room had sticky carpets
Ended up here due to the snow storm that closed Atlanta airport in January 2014. Took this hotel due to it having rooms - no other reason. Extended an extra night when other hotels were available, which should tell you this hotel is OK. An older hotel, somewhat rundown and in need of TLC, but the staff are friendly and helpful.
Leaving!!! We opened the door to the room and knew that we could not stay there. It was terrible!! We turned the key back in and left. did not like anything
convenient location Had no clothes rack or hangers, no suitcase rack, no coffee maker, no hairdryer. Was not informed of breakfast time, called desk at 9 AM about breakfast and was informed that breakfast was over, this was a Sunday morning.
cost heater did not work ,fire alarm beeped /key failed at 12:30 at night.,poo broken/breakfast cheap
your description for 2 star type hotel include holiday inn, best western, comfort inn, ramada, laquinta - super 8 does not fit this category in my opinion - neither does travelodge which i have also gotten on a 2 star bid. found dead roaches in room and spider crawling on pillow. table chair was badly stained. small old-style tube tv. i am done with 'express deals' on less than 3 star hotels. it seems like since express deals has come out that it's harder to get a legitimate deal on a nice hotel using priceline. i travel 250+ days per year for the past 14 years and used to get much better value for a nice hotel (hyatt place, sheraton, hilton, etc) - i guess those days are over.
No hot water in my shower but the sink had hot water. Not the best neighborhood.
The bed and hotel room were nice here. The hotel staff was friendly. I hadn't ever been to Atlanta before and was looking for an easy hotel to crash at before heading north the next day. It was pretty difficult to find using mapquest. I would stay again, but wouldn't recommend it for people wanting a hotel close to the airport.
not a great neighborhood. inside, rooms were clean and acceptable, overall the facility looks a little shady. It irritated and insulted me that front desk photocopied my drivers license. Makes you wonder what kind of people are wandering around if they are taking this precaution.....
I chose this hotel for 3 reasons:1-price; 2-location (the article led you to believe it was close to the airport); 3- reviews (most of the reviews were great). It was too remote for someone who did not have a rental. It was not easily accessible to public transportation and it was not wise for a female with luggage to walk a mile to the nearest bus stop. I had to take a taxi into downtown $35. I won't choose this one again... Post email address only
Nothing Everything was horrible very dirty 20mins away from the airport very far, worst motel ever
The room itself was very nice, however, the clerk at the front desk was very hard to understand with her accent. About 10:30 she called the room to verify information. About 10 minutes later another call to verify info. We readied ourselves for bed, another call. Someone was looking for another person. We told them we were in a hotel room and they had a wrong number. Two more calls, then lights out, and more calls. We called the front desk to complain. Lights out about midnight. Just dose off, phone rings. We tell them nobody here by that name, they call back, we get mad. Its now 1:30 am. We call the front desk. The calls continue. I get out of bed and go to the front desk. Girl is hard to under stand. I vow to unplug the phone! She promises to knock on our door for a wake up call. Back to bed about 2:30am. Come morning, no wake up call! We are now late to our destination. Not much sleep! Facing a 12 hour drive to destination. No offer of compensation for discomfort and aggravation.
I stayed at the hotel over the course of four days. When i checked in, i was greeted by a very friendly person at the front counter who quickly got me into my room no problem. When i got into the room, i checked everything out and was very impressed with what i saw. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and best of all there was no foul stench like some of the other places. The rooms were very cozy, and everything was functional. You can actually park right in front of your hotel room, which is what i did. There were no parking fees whatsoever. I ran out of soap and i asked the front desk who had it handy. For those of you looking for something close to the airport, this hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta. IT IS NOT AS CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN AS ADVERTISED! BUT IT IS ONE OF THE NICER HOTELS IN THE ATLANTA AREA AND THE PRICE CANNOT BE BEAT. If you have a reliable means of transportation, then by all means stay here and don't worry about its location. The hotel is close to several fast food restaurants and close to the interstate that takes you downtown. I would definitely stay here again :) ...
Clean rooms; small and worn towels; not convenient to airport; skimpiest continental breakfast we have ever seen; comfortable beds.
Housekeeping was excellent! The staff and owner were very friendly. Continental breakfast was not much of a breakfast
The room is spacious, though the furniture is old and it does not supply free shuttle to airport. The worst thing is that the room has bed bug.
We were looking for an inexpensive room that was close to Turner Stadium and Forest Park Travel Lodge filled the bill. The room was clean and roomy enough for us.
Very Hip room , nice staff , small pool , 15mins to downtown .
The staff was excellent. My boys enjoyed their stay. One of the house cleaning ladies gave my son a $1 for his birthday. He was so excited. Variety of breakfast. The $12 parking (too high)
The bed was comfortable & the staff was pleasant The coffee in the room was terrible, my air/heat did not work correctly. Breakfast was disappointing.

Ease of access to and from airport. Hotel was clean and very modern. Rooms also very modern and spacious. Front desk staff were very friendly. No bacon at breakfast
Great location, very spacious and quiet. Traveled with two tweens and had enough room for everyone!
excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff, very clean we had booked the room for a family of 4, only service for 3 bath towels, etc.bedding was great, pillows too over stuffed for our liking, not good quality mattresses, noisy when moved in bed 4th floor airplanes noise, over priced
The ability to push our luggage on a smartcart from ATL baggage claim directly into our room and then back on the SKy Train to the rental car center the next morning was quite a neat trick! They obviously have quite a time keeping the carpets clean from all the foot traffic. The elevators have an incredibly ugly carpet that shows stains badly.

The room. Very clean! Breakfast. Food items were scarce, and no one came out to replenish or clean up the eating areas.
